Subway

I had never been to this location before and was wanting something quick. The young man behind the counter attended to me quickly and got me out of there toute-de-suite…that’s how fast food is supposed to be. The location is very clean and is convenient.

Probably one of the most interesting Subways on the service standpoint. Quite busy on a Saturday at almost 2 but slow slow slow in the service.
Sandwich was good and veggies were crisp though.

This subway location is right near my office. Because it is a quick lunch, I like to stop by now and then. I received an email yesterday indicating that all the sandwiches were $ 5 for a footlong so I went in.
It was about 1:30p so the lunch rush was over. There was one customer ahead of me and one behind me when I came in. The girl manning the bread recognized me and said I was late — I was startled for a moment and then realized she was kidding around :) I apologized and said I would do better next time. The other lady there is someone I have seen working often. They made quick and efficient work of making sandwiches and ringing everyone out.
This location is always very clean, the service is fairly quick — even during a rush, and generally the employees are super friendly. Sometimes you get a sassy teenager but overall it is a pleasant experience.

Subway is one of those places I always forget about, until you notice the Subway sign on the corner of Johnson Drive and Barkley on my way back to my apartment or work (crammed into a tiny parking lot next to a Blockbuster, the Subway store is easy to miss). It was near 1:00 in the afternoon when my co-​worker Karen and I went in, and the place was empty. The «sandwich artist» was very friendly and she gladly accommodated Karen’s request to add veggies before toasting the sandwich and my request to not add a ton of pepperoni (they always put too much in!). The cashier, a cute little older lady, was also friendly, and told me to have a nice day, which is a great way to say good-​bye to customers.
Another time I have gone by myself, the pop machine’s drain wasn’t working, and it was almost ready to overflow and spill all over the floor. I told the teenager working at the cash register, and he came out and fixed it right away, glad someone told him before he would have to mop the entire floor because it ran over the rim.
I fully recommend this Subway over others because the staff is always friendly, and I appreciate that it is also never that busy because it is more out of the way than other Subways.
