Good food, though a little on the pricy side for what you get with your wrap. The salad and hummus was delicious and the pita bread was tasty. The staff was friendly. We got wraps, neither were very Mediterranean, but as I said before they were very good. Next time I may order some thing more Mediterranean like gyro. Who ever put up the signs and such had a sense of humor. I’ll go back.

Wow wow wow. Those are the only words I have for the magnificence I’ve just enjoyed. For under a tener, I got the Bubba and some sweet tea. And what a sandwich! It was of a most acceptable size, but where they really make their money is the quality and quantity of lamb you get. My mouth is still watering and I just finished my lunch. Stop by now!!! You’re taste buds will thank you

Since moving away from Mobile, it’s rare that friends will specifically mention restaurants in Mobile that I have to try. It seems there’s the 10 – 15 restaurants that have been there FOREVER, and then the stuff that changes every 2 – 3 years(Looking at you Cheddar’s, Mozerella’s). I was told by no less than 10 people I had to try this place. I asked my parents and my dad, face beaming, told me ‘It’s my favorite place in Mobile for food.’ that was it, I knew I was going when I went home for the holidays. I got the ‘redneck shwarma’ and my oh my was this an amazing wrap. An amazing blend of so many delicious flavors. Before I knew it the sandwich was gone. My dad asked if I’d had time to taste it. Amazing. This place lived up to the hype and then some!

Their food is always good. Generous portions. Their orzo is super yummy. I love the Middle Easterner wrap, my husband likes the Gyros.

Update on what remains one of the best kept secrets in Mobile, although it is busy at times. The people running it remain very committed to providing excellent food and good service. They clearly make the best of this type of food in Mobile and when you survey the people eating there you see every type of customer from the«suits», the«hard hats», and the public service people like fire, coast guard and police. There are older people and youngsters. Clearly the axiom that if you build a better sandwich…“they will come” still holds. Congratulations to the manager and his wife(who are anything but Mediterranean) for creating what remains one of may favorites spots in this city.

By in large, the food here is good, but nearly every time I go I can’t help but think the food is too salty and honestly, it all kind of tastes the same. The orzo sides are always mushy. One thing that never fails to impress is the soup, though, something different and tasty nearly every time. Good food for the money, huge portions.

Love Mediterranean Sandwich Co. Their food truly is delicious. Have tried several Mediterranean spots here in Mobile, and love the flavor and freshness of their food, their orzo is also to die for. However, my husband and I went for lunch today, and it might have been our last. Ordered some coleslaw to go along with our sandwiches, and mixed in good with all of the goodness was a long blonde hair. I’m brunette, so it was definitely not mine. Not to mention, it was deep in there, all caught up in everything. It made me lose my appetite for both my lunch and the restaurant as a whole. I’ve been to both the midtown and West Mobile locations, this incident occurring at the west mobile one. I realize that it can happen anywhere, but it was clearly noticeable and just disgusting. If employees have long hair they should have it tied back or be using a hair net… Really disappointing because I enjoyed it here, but just don’t think I could bring myself to come back :/especially considering there are so many other Mediterranean spots around town.

Me and a handful of friends had went here as we stood near the counter a friend leaned in and whispered«Is that the garbage can he placed the onions on? » I looked over and asked with the manager yelling back at me in a threatening tone. Yes whats it matter to you and told me if I had a fucking problem with it I could go elsewhere. Never been back! !!!

Had the chicken schwarma. I have some bad gyros in my life, however this was not one of them. Chicken was flavorful. He tsaziki sauce was light and delicious. The pita was fresh and fluffy. All in all and excellent lunch. Will definitely return to Mediterranean Sandwich when im back in Mobile.

The food is fantastic! Great take out place. Our complaints are about the service and restaurant itself. The staff were nonchalant and approaching rude in their attitude. The restaurant could use cleaning and having printed menus available for customers would be a big improvement. It was quite annoying all of us having to cluster at the wall to see the menu. The sides of orzo weren’t our taste some fresh fries would be great. Seemed pricey but man so delicious the shwarma gyro and chicken funghi are DELICIOUS. This place would be such a hit if the service, cleaning and menus were imoroved. We’ll be back again but not for the service or ambiance.

Absolutely fantastic! Everything I have eaten here has been delicious! My go-to’s are the Redneck gyro and the Mixed Grill. The hummus is a must! Friendly service, but they can get busy. I usually call ahead, especially if I’m stopping for lunch.

Good food but greatly disappointed by the fact that they don’t honor the military discount that they supposedly offer. I presented my retired ID and was told only active duty get the discount. What a load of crap. So a retired marine can’t get the discount but some coastie who sits on his butt all day can?

Had the Gyro and man it was good. Everything was fresh even down to the pita. This place is a hidden gem in West Mobile. Will definitely be coming back!

I come here when I’m in the mood for something a little different. I usually order one of their awesome wraps with the soup du jour; both are always fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is laid back, clean, and the employees have always been really friendly towards me. In addition to their staple mediterranean menu items, they also have some really unique stuff that you wouldn’t immediately think of; check out the menu on their website.

Hands-down, the best gyros in town, no question, end of story. I grew up in a town in NC that had a lot of Greek families and therfore lots of Mediterranean restaurants. Not since I was in high school have I had gyros as delicious as these. They are definitely doing it right. Oh, and their bacon orzo stuff is outstanding as well! Keep it up, guys!

Not bad. I ordered a plain gyro, everything tasted fresh and crispy. The lamb was juicy and the sauce was bursting with flavor. Had a bite of the Cheesy K-Bob, which was also quite surprising. Both dishes were amazingly really good, and the price was right. My only disappointment was that they didn’t have a side of falafel balls to enjoy with my gyro. But if that’s the worst I suffer, that’s fine. I’ll definitely be returning here again.

So good. Husband had a Redneck sandwich special and it was stuffed full of chicken and bacon. My Mediterranean Grilled cheese was excellent. I first tried this sandwich shop in downtown Mobile and am so glad I finally made it in to this location which is much closer to my home. The food was great and there was no reduction in quality from their original location. I worry about there actual location; the food is great but it is a little out of the way, I shop in the same plaza but would have never even noticed this place if I wasn’t looking for it and my husband drives this road daily and had never noticed it there, Good thing he knows now. I think it is his new favorite place.
