Changed the hamburgers. Not a fan of the change. Double patties are too thin. Don’t mind paying $ 9.50 for a good burger. Please go back to the way burgers were made before. I guess new setup accommodates more customers and helps profit margin. Almost has fast food feel now. Staff was super nice.

We wanted to fine a good local eatery in downtown Mobile. WOW the food was tremendous. There were 5 of us and we all order different meals and we all loved right down to the home fries and chips. It my go to place to bring friends when we her.

Yummy. Fresh cut fries… But if you don’t want nutmeg and cinnamon on them, tell them when ordering.

The beignets!!! YUM!!! I grew up down here but moved away a long time ago and I miss beignets. My mom raved about this place so my husband I stopped by early last Sunday. We walked right in(Dauphin St) not realizing they weren’t open yet. They were so kind, told us to take a seat and made us the most delicious cappuccinos while we waited for the beignets. They are different than what you’ll get in Nawlins’ but so so good and gooey! Great décor. Will have to come back for a panini next time I’m in town.

We stopped here for a quick Christmas Eve lunch. They graciously stayed open past their closing and treated us with class. They had a special combining beignets and rosemary chicken as a sandwich. So incredible! The patty melts were amazing. The service was outstanding. Well worth the stop!

I was only in Mobile for 3 days and ended up stopping here 2 mornings. My main motivation was that I wanted beignets and they were spot on. The service was wonderful and the food was awesome! This place was is a must when in Mobile. When I first thought of a panini, I was not all that thrilled over sandwiches, but they were delicious! It was so worth it! I did try the lemon squeeze on the beignets and it tasted like lemony beignets, still good, just not as good as the original(in my opinion). Stop here! You won’t be disappointed. Service and the people that work there are super friendly and personable. Food comes out quick, just remember they close at 2 pm!

Super great service, and the food… Stopped in for breakfast, and got the green eggs and ham panini, with beignets. One the best breakfast sandwiches around. I will definitely return. The lemon on the beignet seems odd, but it forms what I can only describe as a lemon glaze which accents their type of beignet wonderfully.

We love Panini Pete’s! One of the best places to get lunch. The cuban special was out of this world and the fries keep you coming back for more. So thankful they moved to Mobile!

I have lunch at the fairhope location occasionally. After telling our server that we love the food and have been to the one in Fairhope, she offered us an order of free beignets! They were delicious! If you still have room after the meal(most of the time I don’t) try it for dessert. Definitely crowded during lunch hour since its in downtown. Our wait was twenty minutes, so plan ahead!

Cute little place in downtown Mobile. I had the breakfast burger and was extremely happy with my choice. The french fries were lacking though — I’m not a fan of the greasy shoe string variety, but it seemed the side item choices were pretty limiting. Excellent service and I would definitely try a panini next time.

Good paninis, awesome burger, we had a bad waiter but luckily a manager stopped by and helped out, we had 2 people that ordered hot dogs and they were not worth the money! They were suppose to have onions and Dijon mustard and we barley saw the mustard and had about 3 tiny nibbles of onion

Panini Pete’s beignets have always been a favorite for our office. So if you’re in downtown Mobile, do try it! Today I ordered the House Roasted Medium Rare Beef Panini for takeout with house frites. It was a huge roast beef sandwich! The gorgonzola spread was rich, creamy and delicious with the roast beef — excellent sandwich and the fries were good too(not too salty). My co-worker loved the House Turkey panini she ordered. As a whole, the quality of Panini Pete’s food is consistently very good and his prices are reasonable for the downtown Mobile area.

What’s better than one location? Two locations. Now I’m no longer wondering what to eat while in Mobile. Pete splits time between the two so you’re always in for a treat. If they have it, the Angry Hawaiian on ciabatta is amazing! All this talk is making me want to go done the street to the Fairhope location… brb

Love Panini Pete’s! The Tomato Basil Mozzerella on Foccia bread is my favorite. I always get the side of the day, which is usually a bean or quinoa salad. Plenty of food for the price. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because they are so busy that the food can take a long time and on occasion I’ve had less than stellar service. I prefer to place a take out order and pick it up. It’s also not very good for large groups especially at lunch.

This place is pretty rockin’. The food is fresh! In Mobile! Can you believe it?! All joking aside, everything I’ve had here is good. Thin cut pomme frites, rosemary chicken panini with goat cheese, and the burgers. All so tasty! Strongly recommend. It’s no wonder this place is packed out everyday for lunch.
