Excellent sandwiches with great prices! Very clean and nice staff I’ve been waiting for them to open and finally got the chance to stop by.

Le Saigon is a tiny little restaurant with 4 tables, and market with 1 aisle, but it’s a great place to get takeout from, or to pick up Vietnamese ingredients or candy you may not find at the supermarket. I’m no expert on Banh Mi sandwiches, but Le Saigon’s are delicious. Don’t go in expecting Subway. Le Saigon makes them in the Vietnamese style, loaded with beef, pork, chicken or fishcake, along with carrots, cucumber and jalapenos, all on a delicious roll with a crispy crust. Their dim sum is great too, with outstanding egg rolls, sweet sesame balls, and the best steamed chicken buns I’ve ever had. Le Saigon also has a selection of teas, smoothies, salads, noodle dishes, and more. Le Saigon is a great place to pick up lunch or a quick dinner on your way home. Once you try it, I’m confident you’ll keep going back.

omg! The bread on the sandwiches are amazing! The best I’ve had. When you take a bite, it’s crunchy and flaky on the outside. Then soft and melts in your mouth on the inside. I love that the bread doesn’t take away from everything inside the sandwich. So for me that a huge plus! I’ll be a regular for sure!

I would say this is a go-to option in Modesto. Le Saigon has been around for over two decades at different locations. I’ve been eating here since I was little. I think someone who’s new to the place should know what to expect, otherwise it may be off-putting. It’s not a sit-down restaurant(although they do have a few tables if you’re inclined.) It’s always been a grab and go kinda place. They have a pretty extensive menu — sandwiches, spring rolls, larb, papaya salad, rice soup, pearl drinks, etc. In addition they typically have some premade items for sale such as pork buns, chow mein, and chicken wings. It’s never been in the best location(including it’s current one), but I’ve always made it home unscathed, so it’s nothing to worry about. The food is solid, the employees are nice and personable, and best of all, the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Asian food and I never hesitate to introduce it to new people.

Rating based on the freshness of the product, price, variety of the menu, and how quickly i got in and out. The baguette was crusty and light… they bake their own bread. I didnt expect it to be so short but they do stuff the hell out of it. My #4 w/bq pork was a little dry. more like a grinder than a bahn mi, but there are plenty of other sandwiches i can try. Brunt my mouth on the baby eggrolls but thats my fault. Tasty though. Avoid the lunch rush and call ahead they are real popular amongst the working crowd. Support small business everybody!

Most bang for your buck in Modesto! Great sandwiches and sides that make you want to order them all. Fresh bread, crisp veggies and unique meat make these sandwiches stand out! The prices are awesome and among the best in Modesto for quality vs price. I’d never ate a Vietnamese sandwich until 4 weeks ago and I think I’ve been there every week since. On the side front you cannot go wrong with the wings or sesame balls(bean paste, wrapped in mochi and covered in sesame seeds)

This place can be summed up in one word… Disappointment. Location is terrible. Inside is very cramped. Took 15minutes to get 3 sandwiches. Ordered 2 bbq chicken and 1 bbq pork. All disappointing in every aspect: size, taste, all were dry, barely any mayo, nothing bbq about any of them. Do yourself a favor and go some place else. 1 star for a decently clean bathroom.

This is my new favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop, the Bahn Mi are so good, I wanted to try them all and at the price I could have. For 20 dollars my friend and I each got a sandwich, tea, shrimp rolls and the BBQ pork buns and we weren’t able to eat it all. The bread is perfect(think they make it there, not sure though) it’s the right amount of crisp crust to inner bread. The carrots, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeño with the filling I got the BBQ pork… amazing! It was totally filling and I could have stopped at the sandwich, but I had to try more because I was excited. I also tried a Thai tea with Boba and it was good, but too sweet for me. The shrimp roll was good also and I brought home steamed BBQ pork buns. Everything is packaged so it’s easy to take home. It’s a tiny little place, but it appeared to be very clean, there is very little seating, but it’s excellent for a quick lunch. There is very little parking, but for the food it’s worth it totally. Today was my first trip of what will likely be many.

You had me at Binh Mi… I get the grilled BBQ chicken sandwich and blended Thai Tea(it’s like a slushy) with pearls. The sandwich itself is a masterpiece that perfectly balances the tangy pickled julienne carrots with thin slices of jalapenos that warms your taste buds, and the subtle sweet BBQ sauce that makes you want to order two sandwiches. They bake their bread onsite and it has a crunchy shell. Their egg rolls are addicting since they’re bite size. They also have dishes behind the glass case. This place is very affordable with sandwiches starting at $ 3.50. Whether, you eat it there, take it home or save it for later… it will still be good. My only quip is the limited parking behind the store and the alley way to get into the parking space. Snobs may be thwarted in coming here because of the location, but it’s safe. Call you in your order — did I mention they open early!

The #3 chicken sandwiches is great! And only $ 3.50. I’ve been there twice now and both times I was satisfied. Only problem was the wait — but I don’t have a problem with that because they were super busy with standing /call in orders. I’ll be back!

Best sandwich so far, chicken had a lot of flavor. Thai tea was excellent, strong yet sweet. Good service. Clean deli like setting. Can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately parking in back can be dodgy so use caution. Gang activity going on in back. Owner was kind enough to let me park in front due to this.

I’m a super picky eater. & for their prices they’re menu is incredible. Cashier was sweet and attentive. Food came out fast, about 8mins with 4orders ahead of us. You can tell they make everything fresh, bread, garnishes, toppings and such. Theres also market type foods packaged And deli style. Definitely an awesome little place!

I am a regular at le Saigon. Le has moved to orangeburg road, but what I found out today(their second day of re-opening at the new store) is their sandwiches are twice better than it was before!!! The second bite I took out of the sand which made me just fall in love with the sand which I had to go back and get a second one!!! Finding out the line was now out the door!!! This is not a fake review, this is a loyal customer giving Le a real review!!!
