Disappointed… stopped in Augies for a Bloody Mary Sunday afternoon. One of the worst Bloody Mary’s we ever had. Food at the bar was good though. Don’t see me going back anytime soon.

Fabulous experience each time I visit. Augie is attentive to customers and so sweet. Bartenders are knowledgeable and super courteous. Food is out of this world. Filet Mignon dinner was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. At Augie’s it’s not just about going out to dinner… it’s a total experience!

Good steak. Good service. Overpriced desserts $ 8 for a piece of lemon coconut cake a bit much but overall a good experience. We go there now and then.

Just had an awesome New Years Eve dinner Had been to Augie’s two times before and had great experiences! Last night was over the top! We had a great waiter named Eli The atmosphere and the booth we were in opposite the upstairs bar was perfect. We started out with multiple appetizers that were all prepared to perfection including great shrimp cocktails that were the size of small lobsters. We then had steaks and lobster tails all cooked to perfection! The sides were solid. We then were served multiple desserts to share ordered by a friend(coincidently from Dutchess County at another table). The desserts were all fresh, had great flavor and presented in a very tasteful way. Our water glasses and drinks were kept full, while enjoying great food and great service! I would not expect this type of service or food on New Years Eve, but the staff at Augies pulled it off without a hitch! Admittedly a little pricey yet still a great value on New Years Eve!!! If you want an absolutely great experience with great food and great service, based on my experience, it gets no better thAn Augie’s !!!

Disappointed that the porter house steak will be served on a sizzling dish like Ruth Chris if asked for when ordering. Sorry I didn’t know that ! Other than that; all was okay !

This place leaves much to be desired, primarily in the form of treatment of customers from the owner. The food is palatable, but wildly overpriced for both the product and location. The waitstaff is nice, but the owner is the embodiment of condescending. In three trips, over $ 500 spent, and an obnoxiously rude interaction with the owner herself, I can safely say that I shan’t be returning to this establishment. The mark up on the wine alone is absurd, but like many folks have detailed in their reviews, that prices are not indicative of the quality, and people should be weary of spending this kind of cash for a mediocre experience and the potential wrath of the owner. I wanted to ensure that no one felt that I was completely bashing the place based on a sole negative experience, so I gave this place several opportunities and the lack of delivery was the most consistent part of the experience. The quality of the steak does not impress me, it seems comparable to some of the chain restaurants that are nearby and far more economical. The sauce that is proudly boasted with the Fat Sal’s truck parked outside the establishment, is definitely overhyped — yet necessary. True steak houses do not advertise the amazing sauce they offer, because quality stark does not need to be drowned in sauce. That is a warning sign I stayed quiet about, but to no avail, it became evident quickly that the sauce was in the table because it was needed. I’ll head elsewhere for my next steak, probably won’t need to bring my checkbook there, or drown the steak in sauce, or be insulted by the owner.

This place was surprisingly good! Nice and elegant décor. The staff was very friendly, our waiter was a nice Albanian man. The appetizers were my favorite. We had buttermilk fried calamari, tempura zucchini, and a New England Clam Chowder, all amazing! The entrees were decent, the RibEye Au Poivre was a little too spicy but flavorful and the Chicken Scarpiello was not my favorite. Overall a pleasant experience and I do recommend it but stick to the steak since it’s their specialty.

This was the first time that my wife and I had been to this restaurant. The décor was nice and the wait staff were excellent. When we looked at the menu the steaks seemed a bit pricey, but was it ever worth it. We both had the 22 oz. Ribeye streak with the baked potato. I couldn’t eat it all, but it was absolutely one of the best steaks I’d ever had. I have to admit that I was a little wary to eat there due to several bad reviews posted, but my experience was outstanding. I’d recommend Augie’s Prime Cut to anyone w/o wants to enjoy a great streak.

We have been here many times. Really great steak. Pros: — Delicious steak & the au jus is unbeatable. — Great waitstaff, very friendly and helpful — Good drinks! Cons: — Very expensive for the area. For us, it can only be a special occasions place. — Tables too close together. — The owner is rather tepid in personality. Doesn’t really affect our experience though. Overall, we always have a delicious meal and it is well worth it.

$ 187 for two people. Ordered clams/mussels, both had steaks, bottle of wine(50% off day), chocolate cake for dessert. Yes it was expensive but it was a business expense so that’s fine. What pisses me off is if you are paying this kind of money they should 100% know how to cook a steak medium rare. The waiter asked if he should take it back but I never send food back. Voted westchester county best steak house? That’s not saying much and gives me no confidence in the voters. You want a real steak and cooked to perfection for this same pricing go to Del Frisco’s in the city. Perfect every time. I will never go back here since they don’t know how to cook steak as a steak house.

Great place. Been to some of the more popular steakhouses in the Westchester Area and I put Augies at the top. Great service amazing food. Porterhouse for two rocks. Def going back soon.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary with a newborn, we couldn’t really take her out so I decided to get take out here. We got a 12 oz filet and seared ahi tuna with some sides and appetizers. Even with the packing out/short ride home everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back to dine in later.

This is a place locals go and splurge on a date, it’s not worth the prices at all! If you want to show off you got a nice paycheck take your date here, if you want to have great food go elsewhere.

Stay away from this restaurant. They received two stars because the décor is nice and wait staff pleasant. food is no Bueno. I ordered salmon it was cold and raw in the middle, had to send it back obviously. My friend ordered prime rib it was just a lump of fat. We decided to get dessert figured they couldn’t mess that up well they did. Cold crème brûlée is not only unpleasant to eat because of the weird mouth feel we both also got sick about a half hour after eating here. I’ve been working in this area for about 9 months now and there is just no good food around! i guess I’m just a spoiled New Yorker(NYC)

I have been a big fan over the years but my last two visits with my family were very disappointing. The wait and the lack of things on the menu led us to leave after an hour wait with a reservation. The second time was not as bad but the experience of the dinner was not what it used to be. Things seem to have changed.

Unfortunately, we were not impressed. Atmosphere was very cramped and the food was marginal(at best) and very, very overpriced. Best part of the meal was the espresso martini which was made perfectly. I ordered the surf & turf. The steak was smaller than advertised and a bit undercooked. The lobster tail was a bit cold and tough. I also found the service to be marginal. Overall, not a bad restaurant but hardly worth the prices. I wouldn’t recommend it and will definitely not return.

Not that good for a place trying to be a high end steak house. The wedge salad was not fresh… wilted was more like it. Asked for sesame dressing and the waiter said they didn’t have it, «how about balsamic» on to the next. They offer oriental salad with sesame dressing… where was that dressing? Dinners came out at different times. Prime ribs were well done… ordered rare and med rare. They were tasteless. The hamburger was good. Sides of spinach were suposed to be creamed… they were sautéed. Mixed veggies were a mouthfull at best. The mushrooms were great. I don’t think the waiter actually listened to the orders. The servers served awkwardly. This place is not cutting it for what they are trying to be… they are just expensive.

It’s very daunting to see the most current(and accurate) reviews buried in the«Unrecommended Reviews» section. My family and I have eaten here on a few occasions, but only because my husband made the mistake of buying half-priced gift certificates on Black Friday. We recently gave away one with a few bucks on it, as we really don’t want to ever eat here in the future. The steaks are okay; nothing remarkable. The calamari appetizer was very small, bland, and chewy, as others have already stated. Very underwhelming cuisine. I’ve had better steaks in Irish pubs in the area. The prices are really absurd. They really gouge. My husband paid six bucks to get some onions on his steak. All of the healthy sides were astronomical, especially for the small portion you get. And I don’t even want to get into the bar drinks. One night when we were there, I complimented Augie on her billboard picture. I couldn’t believe how cold and rude she was. What unmitigated gall! That alone was enough reason never to return.

I like the food but the owner Augie or Audrey comes off rude and very snobbish. It’s nothing that she did but she had that glow of her. I’ve ate her multiple times and I get that from her. The food is good but over the past year it’s not as good as it once was. I find the place over priced and get the feeling the just want to make the $$$. Atmosphere is in a good setting probably wish the owners were more compassionate.

I had come to loathe this place for various reasons so when my bestie wanted to come here for her birthday i was all. say whaaa!!! Well three of my friends had $ 50 gift certificates so that was the only reason why we were even thinking of opening our wallets to this establishment. Okay, FINE, lets do this. Made a reservation for 8 on a Monday night and it was basically us and four other tables. We all had two rounds of drinks and had mussels/clams el diablo(i think thats what it was called) for an app and the raw tuna and avocado thing. They loved the mussels dish and while the tuna one was also tasty, it was small as hell and NOT worth whatever it cost us– prob 12 $. For dinner we each had a different cut of meat which turned out to be an excellent idea b/c we shared and tasted all of them. Prime rib, filet mignon with lobster tail, skirt steak w lobster tail and grilled ribeye. My mouth is watering already thinking about how amazing the beef was. Came out pretty fast too, probably within 15 mins of ordering or so. We all agreed that the best entrée was the ribeye(my choice hahaha) and hot damn was it mm mm good in my mouth! Waiter also gave us a free round of drinks since it was my girls bday; awesome and he def didnt have to give us all one but props bc that was dope! So overall our 300 $ bill for the four of us was pretty much well worth it. I was very surprised by how great this dinner turned out to be and much better than my previous trips here. I’m actually thinking about coming back! Imagine that! I still believe that they are overpriced tho, and could cut the menu items back by a few bucks. $ 23 for a skirt steak and another $ 24 just to add the lobster tail on. Um, WOW, okay. Yes, its a massive tail but really?! That price is more than the steak! The food was good that night and I hope it stays as such for future visits.
