Horrible service. Over 30 minutes before order even hit the wok. Wouldn’t allow us to cancel our order. Lady in purple would go from handling raw chicken to handling ready to eat food. Cashier went from handling money to handling raw food. Definitely avoid this place. Edit: on top of that they gave us the wrong order

Asian Spice has great food, great service, and a pristinely clean, welcoming interior. My favorite entrees are the Mongolian Beef and the Funny Spicy Chicken. The chicken is legitimately spicy, and the beef is incredibly tender and flavorful. I feel like there is some real love and effort going into the food here. The employees are always smiling, and they always communicate clearly. This restaurant has became an immediate staple for us in the Freylands. Under $ 10, including tax, for a 2 entrée plate of fantastic food is noteworthy in my book!

Has some tasty food for the price and ease of it. I think it is much better than other places especially the expensive restaurants. Worth the price!

Really enjoyed my meal today at Asian Spice. I got the phad thai($ 8.95) and my boyfriend got the lunch special with honey chicken($ 8.25). Both meals were made with great ingredients, seasoned with delicious spices, and filled up our stomachs without emptying my wallet.

Good fresh Chinese food. People working here are very nice :) the honey chicken was good but it is definitely sweet. The chow mien was really good.

The food is almost average compare to. I would say a lil bit better than the average expectations of a teriyaki place with more items in the menu. The place is clean and somewhat large, servers are nice. Just come with extra time, the take a looong time to get your order ready dine in and even slower for pickup. So call a while ahead of time.

For a quick and easy Asian place the food was wonderful. The noodles and rice were fresh even at 4 pm when you’d think everything was left over from lunch. Great value.

The wait was really long and we were not told about it and has to ask about food several times.

I really liked the family platter the best, and how they brought Asia over here. I loved the honey chicken. They have gluten-free options. — Sydney, age 9

I never write reviews but I loved my meal here! The owners– a couple were so incredibly friendly. They were beaming about their recent granddaughter being born. It’s so nice to go to a place that welcoming. The food was delicious especially the Honey chicken and Mongolian beef. As my little 4 year old sister told the lady as we walked out, we’ll be back!

For price verses quality, there isn’t much better than Asian Spice in Monroe. For under $ 10 you get a great, fresh prepared dish that will make you come back again and again. My personal favorites are the General’s chicken(5 stars) and the Red Curry Soup(5 stars). The orange chicken is a great alternative to Sweet and Sour chicken and is great for kids. The green bean chicken is also a nice option for the kids as well. If you prefer a bit more kick, the spicy short ribs are spectacular also. Overall, there are very few options that won’t make you happy at Asian Spice.

I’ve been here a couple times now and I really enjoy it. Keep in mind it’s fast good Asian, it’s by no means authentic Chinese or Thai food but good just the same. I’ve had and enjoyed the chow mein, the phad thai, honey chicken, general tsaos and the fried rice. Pricing is reasonable, they have a great family meal spread for $ 32. Clean place, we maintained. Friendly staff. It’s a good spot for a quick Asian food fix.

There’s not much I can say about this place except that I love the Honey Chicken, and that’s what I get when I go here. The food is consistently good and the service is just fine. I realize that this review is rather one-dimensional, but it may help someone.

Good. No complaints. Kind of interesting and eclectic mix of cultures on their menu,(Chinese, Thai and… Korean?). Anyway, had the vegetable pad thai. It was surprsingly good for a strip mall walk up Asian restaurant. As ultra close as I work, I’m sure I’ll be back several times. The order taker lady was nice and helpful. Smiles on just about every employee that works here’s face. 4 stars instead of 3 as bonus points for a strong showing in a pretty obscure area.

What’s fun about exploring a city that is «new» to real, authentic cuisine is that, once in a while, I can find a rather bizarre combination of ethnic cuisines. And this is one of them. Asian Spice sits just a few doors down from the second Kami Teriyaki location, which is a rather odd strategy for either of these two as they are both in the same strip mall off the main highway(Hwy. 2), across a man-made lake and really not in the center of anywhere except nowhere. What they offer is equally one-of-a-kind… Thai and Korean food, with a me-too sprinkling of Chinese fast-food offerings. You have to see this to believe it. My guess is the owners think the locals don’t know Thailand from Korea and China. That, or the cook just specializes in those cuisines, which… I don’t think is the case. When any small Asian or «teriyaki» joint gives away any hint of having Korean underpinnings, I go straight for the kalbi(marinated short ribs) because, in my vast, previously unwritten dining experiences, I can tell the quality of a restaurant’s offerings by how they prepare kalbi. Kalbi, that meaty goodness that is equivalent to a grilled-medium rare USDA Prime ribeye, is the badge of honor(or disgrace) of any worthy chef. The best that ever was around here was the old Aloha Teriyaki of Lynnwood. Their thick slices of marbled short ribs were marinated in a divine concoction over FOURTEEN days in a refrigerator. I should know as I once purchased a tray full for a New Year’s Day blast way back when. (As a side note, this item is named«Blazing Fire» and described as «boneless prime short ribs marinated in spicy Korean barbecue sauce served with steamed rice and house salad.») This kalbi was more of the wtf? when it was presented on a plate with the basic greens and rice. First off, there wasn’t any bone-in meat. Second, the meat was already cubed. And the dead giveaway was the reddish hue glowing from this just-right portion. And what was that? Potato and carrot slices mixed in with this almost-gelatinous conglomeration topped with chopped green onions??? Okay, I got over the visual shock and dug in. The meat was tender and the taste was pleasant. Not tilted toward any extreme sensation. The meat was tender and easy to digest. A pretty good meal BUT… it was not what kalbi traditionally is. They should rename it «Korean Cowboy Stew.» Prices are reasonable($ 6-$ 12) and you can mix-n-match with their«Wok Specials» that, I’m sure, is a step-up from Monkey Express. M-F 10:30am-9pm, Sat 11am-9pm. They will do only«large» orders for Sunday.
