Wow. What a treat. Tried this place for the first time on Friday with my wife(date night) and we will definitely be going back. Great atmosphere, décor and friendly staff. Very Manhattan feel. The artesian cheese board was excellent. My wife had the pan seared salmon with a sweet soy sauce, Brussels sprouts and Asian rice. All were very very good. I had the chicken cordon bleu with garlic mashed which was excellent. We each had the house wine, my wife the Pinot Grigio(she is particular about her Pinot) and I the Cabernet Sauvignon. We both thought our wines were very good. Only let down was dessert. The cheesecake sampler was a nice idea if the cheesecakes themselves were any good. It came with a cherry cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake and coffee cheesecake. Strawberry one was edible, rest were not very good. A nice«let’s try someplace new» find right in Monroe.

Our favorite place in orange county. The food is top notch, the service is wonderful, and the décor is beautiful. The chef, Cathy Egan, is world renowned. Enough said. If I were eating supper with the Pope, I would bring him to fusion.

I love my dinner but my boyfriend wasn’t so happy with how the duck was cooked. Good selection of win and beer and i personally love places that switch up their menus. I would come back.

Fantastic food prepared by an incredibly talented chef. Inventive food that is original. Never disappointed by dinner here. Geat steaks and chips and the best scallops I’ve ever had

Best position to hold out any night time each week… It’s called a rock and roll n roll pub the good news is carries a Blues night time each Saturday… Launching blues music band commences at 9pm combined with a wonderful Blues jam all through the night time with some of the finest not known And popular music artists and bands. although the items were actually so gradual.

I had high hopes for this restaurant. The ambiance was great and the service was great, but that’s about it. Reading the prices off the menu, I expected fine dining. The food, however, did not taste fresh, it tasted like can food quite honestly. I was unimpressed. Unfortunately I will not return.

Great ambiance. all a la carte, so you piece your meal. This is great… except, i wouldve gladly pd an xtra 2 or 3 dollars for a larger lobster tail, however deiciously prepared. The bartender was great, she even anticipated my drink might be too strong and brought xtra pineapple juice in the event it might be too strong. All in all delightful experiecel

Last night I attended one of the restaurants wine and food pairing dinners. It was probably one of the best dinners I have been too. The butternut squash soup with roasted apples was amazing and paired with the white wine was even better. The whole menu was perfectly plated and the flavor profiles were great. From the salmon to the braised short rib. I even enjoyed the squab which I was a little nervous about. I learned about some new wines and grapes that I’ve never tried and fell in love with a chianti. Everyone should definitely try to reserve one of these dinners I highly recommend it. Plus it’s a night out in Monroe that’s different.

Hands down best restaurant in Orange County. I don’t know of any other places like it. I have yet to have a bad meal since I’ve become a customer. Such an eclectic menu that is never boring. Most of the staff is friendly and very accommodating. Marissa Is the best bar tender!!!

I have eaten here before and it was much better. The seating is poor, with tables too close together and some of the seating next to the door, which made it very cold. I saw many people move their table. The food was Ok and no issues with the food. The service was the worst I have ever seen, considering the atmosphere of the restaurant as upscale. The hostess was also a waitress and all servers were very unorganized. They spoke to each other over our table and even passed other customers plates over our table. If you go, stick to the bar as that has been consistently great.

After a few good experiences here, last night’s dinner was very disappointing. With a reservation for our anniversary dinner, we were seated directly next to the door on a frigid night. The hostess said she could not accommodate us at a different table. The waitress had a hard time telling us the specials because there were sooooo many options. Pretty awkward way to start the meal. Crab cake was good, gyoza were decent. Pasta primavera was ok, but pasta portion was very small and barely covered the bottom of a huge bowl. Potato crusted salmon was just ok, but the portion size was far too large and thick. A $ 19 salad should come with mesclun greens, not romaine. Very disappointing for someone on a diet who is trying to have a nice meal out. Service was quite slow and awkward. They really need to address the door draft situation. Build a vestibule or something. Anything. It is not conducive to enjoying a fairly expensive meal while shivering from the cold with your coat over your legs. Will not be returning anytime soon.

We stopped by for a few drinks and had mussels with chorizo, white wine with garlic. It was delicious and the service was outstanding!

I am so lucky to have Fusion restaurant in my home town. Monroe, New York. Kathy(owner and chef) and Elisa Wine Director(a real professional in only the finest restaurants in our Hudson Valley) has completed the portrait of a fine restaurant. I am giving a four star only because I have been blessed to have been to some of the best in the country if not the world. I don’t want to brag too much, but, I an accomplished home cook and am well experienced with wine. Do not miss this«foodie» experience. This is not only worth traveling to experience but if you live near here, shame on you for not supporting this local treasure. It should really get a 5, but you wouldn’t be disappointed and I know you will not believe me until you experience it.

We were there with friends some 2 y ago, soon after they opened. It was uneven at best. Tonight we went for a quick dinner sharing the goat cheese fritter appetizer and the red snapper special. No «faux-pas», good, efficient service and the food was tasty, well cooked and presented. It remains a little pricey for the area. The entrée was $ 27 and was missing the crab meat it was supposed to come with. The basmati rice was good but a little too oily. The fish was cooked through which or may not be desirable but tasty. The grilled shrimps were delicious. Overal good experience. I am glad we gave them another chance.

Fairly average restaurant with a high price I have been to this restaurant twice. Both times I ordered salads which were good but for the price not amazing. Way too much dressing was put on them, I would suggest asking for it on the side. The restaurant has high ceilings which tend to echo noise and keep the place very loud even when there are not many people. The atmosphere is nice inside and it does sit right on the edge of the pond for a nice view outside as well. The service on both occasions was sub par and somewhat awkward. I would highly suggest limiting the specials for the day to not have a long drawn out speech at the beginning of the meal.
