I had lunch here with a youth sports client. We all agreed that our meals were fresh, delicious and stocked well with both meat and condiments. The staff along with the owner were most gracious and hospitable. Despite the hectic lunch hour we were served promptly. I have become a greater fan of them over subway and will be back again! The service and food are well worth it!

I love Jersey Mikes, there hasn’t been one I don’t care for until this one. The first time I visited here my roll tasted old and my bacon was pretty flimsy. babd undercooked. The sandwich deck was filthy which didn’t bother me, I just figured they had been busy. The second and third time same thing with the rolls and the employee pulled my sliced cheese from the fridge instead of slicing it fresh. Service is subpar. I’ll travel further or go to the mall before I go back here.

This local eatery in Monrovia is a part of the large Huntington plaza off of Mayflower, with a McDonalds and a pharmacy also located there. The shop itself is your standard sub sandwich shop, with a few tables & plenty of parking outside. The food is all fresh and delicious and the staff are all very helpful and nice, but I am taking off a star purely based on prices. What would be a veggie«footlong»(called regular) is around $ 7! The subs have less ingredients than Subway when it comes to the veggie sandwich specifically. What I like about JMS over Subway is that they freshly shave your meat with a deli slicer! The sizes are in mini«4», regular«7», and giant«13.»

I’ve been to a few Jersey Mikes now and just had one open recently next to my house near Uptown Whittier, if you have visited a Jersey Mikes and been let down have no fear, if you want a proper sandwhich and want to see how a true Jersey Mikes should be operated visit the one in Arcadia, Ca and experience the difference.

Sandwiches here are THEBOMB! I stopped going to Subway(been almost 2 years) ever since I discovered the awesomeness of Jersey Mike’s Subs. They cut the deli meat fresh in front of you and the toppings are very basic and delicious. I always get it Mike’s way ;) The staff seems kind of dazed sometimes, but not in a bad way. Everyone is nice and the inside is clean. Location is great and safe. Not a fan of the payment system for cards where they ask if you want to leave a tip while the worker just stares at you… Only downside is how pricey these sandwiches can get, but thank you Jersey Mike’s for always emailing coupons!

Slowest Jersey Mikes on the planet! There are six people standing around doing nothing why does a veggie sandwhich take this long to make!

Had a Phillycheese steak here and it was sooo amazing. Not to mention I used the feature on Unilocal to order and pay through the Unilocal app so all I had to do was show up and pick up! So convenient. It also worked out because it was a crowded time of day and I just got in the pick up line and it all took less than 3 minutes. Would definitely go back again.

Very unorganized today. I come here a lot. The sandwich line was not clean which is rare. I noticed mayo in the peppercinis, oil and vinegar in the onions, the sandwich maker wiping his forehead with his wrist and not wash his hands afterwards. They were busy but so is the Pasadena location and this never happens. Pasadena is consistently busier and they are very clean. I was hungry and it was my birthday so I dealt with it, but not sure if I will return. I guess I’ll stick with the Pasadena location. Very disappointing.

The sandwiches are great here! I’ve been going to this establishment a few times for lunch. They are very giving with their deli meats and I have no problems with their veggies. Customer service is a 5⁄5.

Was craving a sandwich so I thought why not try JMsubs instead of subway. I just realized the greeting«Welcome to Subway» that I always mock, is pleasant. When I walked in, was not even greeted with eye contact or a hello. Not knowing what I can get, I stared at the menu for a few minutes, then was asked what I want. Said this is my first time do lady recommend the original. Was looking for meat so I ordered roast beef. Here in lies the difference. Only two kinds of bread, 3 choices in size, condiments are a handful. However, the sandwich was not bad at all. Good roast beef! Mayo was good too. When I asked why tomatoes are limped, was told it was riped. Personally, I like tomatoes crunchy and sweet. Personnel are personable but can use more smile and some enthusiasm on their voice and demeanor. To show they like, not necessarily love, what they do. They upsell, so that’s good to the business. They’re patient, that’s good to us bless neophytes. Will I be back? Yes, if I am craving roast beef.

Placed an online order for pick up in 45 minutes. Upon arrival, 60 minutes later, the order wasn’t started. The sandwich makers said, «They just got it». The shift manager didn’t offer an apology or credit until I asked for both. Poor service. Poor management. No return.

Jersey mikes usually is pretty good, but this time around something went wrong. We made a phone order and a online order to pick up, we gave more than enough time and only half the sandwich was ready. Literally only have the sandwich, waited to have the other half done. And that the chicken was on back order, how can chicken be on back order? It’s chicken!!!

When the sandwich is on point, it’s the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Other times, it’s mediocre. I always get the same sandwich here, tried a few others but my favorite is still the Italian by far, so I only come to this place when I have a craving for that particular flavor. Every time I order something different, the turkey, chicken parma, roast beef, supreme, vege, tuna, etc, I think to myself, «Damn, I should have just got the Italian!» I think it’s a bit pricey, but at the end of the day it blows other places like subway out of the water, not even comparable. Meats are way fresher, bread tastes better, and they go really heavy on the vinegar, olive oil, and oregano which most places do not do. I dislike that workers will ask for tips at the end, like put you on the spot and watch as you choose to either tip or not tip indicating how happy you were with the service. I think if the company believes the workers deserve a tip, they should raise their prices and pay the employees better, but don’t put the awkward burden on us. Some employees are really cool and do a great job making sandwiches, others do a bad job with the sandwich and still look at you like they expect a tip. It is really off putting and some days I’ll be craving a sandwich but avoid this place just because I don’t want to deal with the service of certain employees. Overall, as I said, if this place was more consistent with the experience, it would be the best sandwich place in Monrovia(on par with Market Grill) and get my 5 stars, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Love love love !!! I can’t get enough of jersey mikes subs !! They’re delicious !! Better than subway ! Way better !! 100x better !!! Jersey mikes is a bit pricier but well worth it ! It’s a good idea to get their reward card ! The more you buy, more points you get to earning a free sub !!! These subs are delicious and healthy !

The past few visits have been kind of average. One time they forgot to give my fiancé one of the sandwiches in our order(only after we returned home). They apologized and ended up remaking the one my fiancé originally ordered for me because it wasn’t what I wanted/could eat for being sick. A few nights ago we wanted to get a to go order again and there really wasn’t a line inside(one person ordering before me). It really must have been an off day because not only were they understaffed, they charged me for the wrong sandwich and didn’t apply the coupon I had for a free drink and chips. They were apologetic about it and were able to refund the price difference, however the line built up behind me. It probably would have helped if they had two cash registers. Hopefully it was just a fluke the past few visits because I prefer their Philly cheesesteak over Philly’s Best. Unilocal 100 challenge — 51 of 100

I like the Monrovia location. I’ve been to other Jersey Mike’s locations(Azusa, Upland etc.) and it’s not the same. The line moves slow, you have to sit down while they make your sandwich, they forget items in your sandwich etc. If you see a long line at this location, don’t panic. The line actually moves fairly quickly. #8CLUBSUB!!! The Club Sub is my absolute favorite sandwich to order here. It has turkey, ham, provolone, mayo and BACON… get it Mike’s Way(with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices). It’s one of the most delicious sandwiches ever. The last time I was here, I ordered the #7 Turkey Breast and Provolone which is a healthier alternative. Tip #1 — I would not get it to go unless you are going to eat it quickly. With the olive oil and red wine vinegar… the bread will get soggy. Tip #2 — I always order the Mini sub size, however if you have a friend with you and you want the same sandwich, just order a regular size sandwich and split it. Ask them to wrap each half separately. Tip #3 — Don’t forget to look for coupons. There are usually some in the coupon magazines at the Postal Office(e.g. $ 1 off any reg sub or Buy one, Get one free) You can also sign up on their email list for coupons or join the Rewards program. 105⁄100 Reviews for 2014
