Great food and service. The ONLY drawback is parking and the outrageous price of the parking ticket… Best bet is to walk or bike.

Ditch Witch: Jimmy Buffet has a tab. There’s a Lou Reed sandwich, he ordered egg and tomato with no bread, so now that’s called the Lou Reed. After a long day of surfing, boogeyboarding, or having long strolls on the beach at Ditch Plains, what could be better than having something to munch on? That’s what the Ditch Witch is here for! They have a great selection of sandwiches, drinks, and snacks that can meet your needs for any situation.

You cannot complain about a food truck that’s steps from the best surfing spot on Long Island.
Don’t bitch about the prices — you don’t have to put shoes on!
Had an excellent egg sandwich while watching the waves at Ditch.
You want a white paper bag with your breakfast? Go to the Bake Shoppe (also delish!).
You want a tasty sanger & tasty waves? Ditch Witch is the spot.

This place was adorable. I must admit I only got their iced coffee (one size, $ 3) but the baked goods and sandwiches looked nice. Staff is super friendly and laid back (realized I didn’t have cash, they said to just pay later, no big deal) and I love that they have cheapo items for kids to snack on (blow pops, pretzel rods, etc) — penny (nickel and dime) candy was my favorite as a kid (felt like i had control over something) and it was adorable to see kids doing the same. Will be frequenting this place as long as I am frequenting Ditch Plains!

Does the trick for a little food truck on the beach. Their menu looked pretty delicious from what I could tell, but a friend and I just ended up splitting a cheese quesadilla, which was surprisingly pretty good. It came served with guacamole, salsa and sour cream. There was a little kick to it, which was great and easy to eat on the beach. A-​OK in my book!

Great, convenient spot for a bite to eat right at the entrance to the ditch plains beach. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, pastries, coffee, etc. The staff is friendly and the food is good, albeit a little pricy for what you get (but not outrageously so). The breakfast burrito is tiny for $ 4 (I was still hungry after I ate it), but the $ 7 cubano sandwich is tasty and filling.

this place is great!!! we recently stayed at the east deck motel and this little food cart is such a treasure to have just steps away from the beach and motel. i almost ate all of meals from the cart one sunday! the power bar with peanut butter and asian sesame noodles salad was delicious. i especially love that this is family owned business that has been there for decades. can’t wait to go back to montauk and the ditch witch!

Friendly staff but prices are insane for what you get.
$ 4.50 for a cappuccino and $ 4.00 for a «breakfast burrito» the size (and thickness) of an iphone.

Ditch Witch is far more than the usual beach food shack. Delicious, inventive and satisfying. Prices are a bit higher than the hot dog cart, but well worth it.

Hungry and on the beach? GO TO DITCH WITCH! I went here everyday while vacationing on the sunny Ditch beach. Day 1: chipotle wrap+buffalo wrap+jamaican patty = $ 20 Day 1 part II: chipotle wrap+buffalo wrap+quesadilla+2frescas =$ 23
all of this was split between 2 people of course…2 very satisfied people.
tastes best after a swim — not before!
