If you choose where you shop based purely off of aesthetic, this spot is great. Overall, unoriginal. Small shop, expensive prices for the product even in Montauk. Better off getting a bag of candy from the supermarket. Tastes exactly the same but costs half the price.

yay! Candy! Great selection — even had a few favorites of mine — like allsorts and chocolate covered marzipan. Great place — just a bit TIGHT so don’t bring big bags in with you.

Cool candy spot in Montauk, pretty sure the only one. A little pricey for candy but hey its Montauk!

The Candied Anchor is my new favorite spot in Montauk. Jillian(the owner) has an awesome aesthetic, as well as great taste in candy. Try the gummy grapefruits and the rum filled chocolate balls! I also started following her on Instagram @candiedanchor. Her pics are the best little moments of candy, color, and happiness. They brighten my day every time!

Walking into Jillian’s shop is like walking into a candy coated pinterest board. The owner’s aesthetic is spot on. She has a great mix of classic candies(best gummy bears ever) and new local delicacies(goats milk caramels!!). If you have a birthday or a special event and need a quick gift, try one of their candy grams. She stuffs a colorful suitcase-esque box with your choice of candy, ties on a balloon or two, and delivers to your door! Ordered a candy gram for one of my friend’s birthday and she LOVED it.

This place has the freshest candy! It just tastes way better than anywhere else! I complimented the owner on the freshness of the candy and she said that b/c they have no storage she re-orders four times a week as she runs out of items… which means that the candy is always fresh. Cute and unusual packaged items, gifts, etc. I really love this store. The owners are very nice. Reasonable prices(50% less than Dylan’s).

Sure, I can easily say that Fudge n’ Stuff is one of the best candy stores on Long Island, but there is a competition to go with that, the Candied Anchor. Alright, so maybe the exterior isn’t fancy, but in the interior, very fancy there. Once you stepped in there, it smelled exactly like candy corn. Just like Fudge n’ Stuff, there is a variety of candy, but also, they have an ice cream freezer and a soda vendor which has all old fashioned soda bottles. The staff was very nice also. Bought some Pop Rocks and old fashioned Charms there. Basically, just like Fudge n’ Stuff without the fudge.

Love this place! Jillian, the owner, is a Montauk local and is the absolute sweetest girl. She’s got super cute party supplies as well as a fun assortment of candies. They also have different signs outside for the holidays that you can stick your face in for a nice Montauk memory. I’ll definitely be back!

Come and enjoy the whimsy of Willie Wonka’s Chocolate Factory combined with the class of the Hamptons. The owner is lovely and made our children feel welcome. Located right next to John’s Pancake House, it is in the perfect location and I have no doubt it will be a Montauk landmark in no time. The selection of candy is impressive beyond the standard variety and the prices are reasonable. Welcome to Montauk. Anchor’s away!
