Check your receipt and your order before you leave! I was told I’d earned a free bagel when I gave my Panera card so I decided to redeem it on this visit. Got in my car and saw I’d been charged. I went back and received a refund and«sorry bout that». But when I’d gotten home I found no bagel in the bag. So I called to tell them and ask that the free bagel be put back on my card… the manager agrees and then proceeds to tell me that I’d received double — the bagel that a received a refund for and another free one on my card(crickets) DUH!!! If there ACTUALLYWAS A BAGELINTHEBAG I wouldn’t be calling to complain. I tried to explain this to her and she kept talking over me so I just ended it. The ironic thing is when I arrived the same employee was midway in an argument with an older woman about the accuracy of her order, the customer wasn’t being very nice and I’d actually felt bad for the guy … now I can understand her frustration.

I am writing regarding the woman who works the dining room at the Montclair Panera Bread. She is awesome. Very friendly and is always keeping up with the dining room. She is constantly wiping tables and offers to take the plates/bowls away when you are finished. I have been to many Panera’s and have never seen anyone that has kept up with the dining area as she has. Many of the Panera’s have crumbs on the tables and napkins, etc. on the floor. I was in the Morristown Panera Bread recently. I was there for about 2 hours and did not see anyone come around the dining area to clean. The 5 stars I am giving are all because of this dining room associate.

Was there yesterday morning for a quick Breakfast. Nice and quiet early morning setting. Spinach and Bacon Soufflé with a Carmel Latte. Was very good.

I don’t know why but I’m not ready to give 5 star review. That’s probably a little unfair to Panera because the food was excellent. And they have this neat little app that let me order from my table and they brought the food out to me. The service was fast and accurate. The place is a little loud and can be hard to find a good place to sit. But that’s expected.

One of my top places to eat is panera bread. I love fresh food and I love their salads… This one in particular is good except the dining area is not very clean. That’s the only thing. The staff is very courteous and attentive. But they need to clean the dining area better. It does make me wonder how clean the prep area is. Still I’m a true fan of panera bread and their Mediterranean kale salad is awesome!

Great crew at this Panera. I especially appreciate the service manager Steve provides. There was a time I would have to practice my breathing just to open the bag because the orders were always wrong. But this crew gets my orders right every time and my orders are generally a bit complex. Pleasant and predictable service and food.

I haven’t been to any Panera in like a year(none really that convenient) and I am pleasantly surprised how things have changed. I always get the iced green tea, and depending on location, they may or may not have given refills, but it was always behind the cashier so sometimes it was hard to get their attention if there was a line to get the refill. Now it’s next to the soda machines. Also instead of going down to pick up your food, they gave me a buzzer and brought it to me when ready and also picked up the plate when I was done. So it seemed a lot more helpful then before and I was happy with the experience. It’s still a bit pricey for getting a sandwich and a soup, but once in a while for good tasting food and good service, I will be back!

I stopped into panera bread for a quick dinner today. Upon examination of my sandwich i realized the turkey was coated in a see a thought glaze. I realized that this was the preserves for the meat– I though this store prided itself on being preserve free. When I pointed this out to the staff behind the desk they simply picked that part off the sandwich and returned it to me. At this point I knew I wouldn’t be eating any longer. This however was the icing on the cake. I have constantly seen paneras breads prices go up, while the portions go down. Now the quality of the food has hit a low. I can no longer picture myself paying $ 12 for a half sandwitch and salad, knowing that the portions are fit for a preschooler and the quality is equal to that of a McDonald salad.

One of my go-to lunch & quick breakfast favorites! I absolutely have a wonderful obsession with panera’s spinach artichoke soufflé. It is a delicious combination of artichoke hearts, cheesy goodness and spinach. I have been here twice in the last week — ordering online each time for rapid pick-up. Why can’t more places have this!!! 5 stars just for that! The convenience of ordering ahead and then having everything packed neatly ready for you to scoop up when you arrive. My soufflés are always hot and smoothies are perfect. I have never had any issues with my food — but all of the staff seem very pleasant and the café itself is well kept and clean. The establishment is in a strip mall with ample parking… so convenient for that rapid pick up! I frequent this place at least once a week and will continue.

I stopped at Panera to get take out before a movie. I decided on the Steak & Blue Cheese Salad(which I love!). My friend and I placed our orders with ease. We went down to the pick up area, which is where things went downhill. My friend got her food, then the employee called my name. I was expecting my food to be ready, but no. He was calling me to inform me that they were out of the blue cheese vinaigrette that comes on this salad. I was taken aback. I told the employee that if they were out of the dressing, that I should have been informed of this when I placed my order as I would have ordered something different. The fault is in the employees taking your order, but the staff preparing the foods should also make sure to tell the employees who take your order. So, somewhere in there is a communication problem. I was incredibly disappointed and selected balsamic vinaigrette as my alternate dressing. it definitely gives the salad a different flavor, which didn’t please me. I also noticed that he did not put the Cabernet Reduction on either. This he didn’t mention to me. Overall, this was a very disappointing visit to Panera Bread. Given the experience I had, I would not frequent this location again.

Panera is just bad, I keep giving them a chance, and I loved it 10 – 15 years ago, but these days it’s not good. If I wanted a sandwich with only one piece of meat the bread better be amazing, but their bread is crap. Why am I even reviewing a Panera?

It’s quite busy this afternoon, but the service excellent. We stopped by for chicken noodle soup, there was quite a number of people there, however, because of how organized the process is, we didn’t feel out of place. For a second we thought there was something else going on here today, so packed on a Sunday afternoon– then it clicked– free wifi. Yep! That’s it. The convenience of free access, good food and productivity goes hand-in-hand. Finally we were called and our chicken soup eagerly awaited us on the counter. The soup salty but not too salty, not too hot, and just right. Can’t forget to elaborate on how clean and well kept this Panera is, it’s what keep people coming and feel warm. The ambience is embracing enough to keep a customer at ease even if the order takes longer. See you soon Panera, you’ve found a way to keep us conning. Kudos to all the staff. Love, Dennis&Lilian

Everyone is very friendly and helpful here. The food is always served fast, and often the manager visits the café area to check on guests. It’s a nice, warm, and welcoming panera.

This is my local Panera Bread. I don’t know how I would review the food — it taste like every Panera Bread haha. Good olé Panera food and great service. The staff is really friendly and get your orders done in time. As for the place, it’s nice & clean, and every time I eat there, there are people studying and eating(I love this because it reminds me of studying for finals in college).

Why is it that EVERY time I take out from here they get the order wrong? Can the people who make the soup/sandwiches not read? They screw up the type of bread, give pitiful amounts of food-I.e.tuna– on the sandwich and never give you chips when you order them only bread. When I got home after ordering takeout Chicken Greek salad to find out they forgot the chicken-oops– I went back a few days later, nicely after for the manager who asked for the long gone receipt and proceeded to give attitude before relenting for a three dollar credit. The staff is pleasant but not too swift-I guess the manager sets the negative tone.

It’s a Panera. How much can I say? I’ve never had a problem here. The staff is friendly, they keep the place clean, and the food tastes no different than any other Panera. The only thing I don’t like about this location is that it’s right next door to a Smashburger, which always tempts me to make the unhealthier choice. Parking is also sometimes tight as several businesses share the same lot.

Why can’t I have a good Panera customer service experience? Is it something about Panera in this area? I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and was told that this Panera location beat the others hands-down. So, I drove up Bloomfield Ave this morning, hoping to try the Pumpkin Pie bagel with the NY Cheesecake style cream cheese. Service was slow. The manager had to come out and help ring because they had one person working the case and having to make everything. I finally get to order(and there was only one person in front of me) and the cashier was very pleasant. She takes my order, proceeds to get everything ready, then tells me they don’t have the cream cheese. I asked if they carry it at all, and she said yes, it sells out because it is popular — a completely different story than West Orange’s «we just don’t carry it because no one orders it.» She makes an attempt to look in the back to see if there’s more, and there’s not. She asks the manager, who tells her no, there is none. She tries to talk me into another one but honestly, at this point, I decide to just give it up. Maybe it’s fate telling me I don’t need the carbs. I asked for a refund. Know your stock before you ring, people.

What can I say, its clean, has ample parking, free wifi, never really crowded. As for the food, one thing that they do offer is excellent kids lunches, prepared fresh. I pick up right before taking them to school. The lunch comes individually packed into a nice tidy box which they can put into their lunch box or directly into their backpack. Its sealed pretty tight so that it wont open and spill all over their stuff. The lunch comes either with an apple or you can substitute for a bag of chips. Personally i love their asiago bagel. The coffee there isn’t great at all, and I would rather just go next door and pickup a cup from 7 Eleven. The staff is always friendly which is expected from a chain such as this one.

I’ve always been a fan of Panera and I’m glad I happen to live in close proximity to one. Their sandwiches are quite good. I’m a fan of the Bacon Turkey Bravo: «Smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes & our signature dressing, on our Tomato Basil bread.» — Panera Bread website. It was my staple sandwich, whenever I visited. I also tried the Asiago Roast Beef once, and was surprised that, it was also pretty good with the exception of the bread. It was kind of tough. Now that I’m pescetarian, I decided to give their Mediterranean Veggie a try. Mediterranean Veggie: «Zesty Peppadew™ piquant peppers, feta cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cilantro Jalapeño hummus on our Tomato Basil bread.» — Panera Bread website It was delicious. I especially loved the Jalapeño hummus. I now have to keep an eye out for that in the supermarket. Along with the sandwich, I got a French onion soup. It was part of the You Pick Two deal. Love Panera’s French onion soup. I really need to try the others but the French onion keeps, tempting it me with it flavor. My go to drinks are the Iced Green Tea, can be a little too sweet, but it’s refreshing on a hot day and also the Iced Chai Tea Latte. When I want something with no sugar, I go for the brewed iced tea. The only thing I’m not a fan of, are their pastries. The oatmeal raisin cookie is always dry. I’ve tried it enough times now at this location and other Paneras, that I never order it or any other pastry anymore. I stick with the apple. However, I always seem to get one with bruises. Not a fan of bruised fruit. The staff has been very courteous and helpful, whenever I’ve visited, so it’s always a pleasure to stop in. Like someone said, the only thing they could improve upon, is the cleaning of the tables, in a timely fashion. So if you don’t want a burger, which you can get at the neighboring establishment, stop in at Panera. Try the Bacon Turkey Bravo or the Mediterranean Veggie.

I normally walk to this plaza. Although I am not a big fan of the Panera«meal» menu, I do enjoy their breads and occasionally have a cup of soup. The quiche is my favorite item on the menu, however its only offered during breakfast hours. This place is a local favorite(or the only place) to meet and just sort of hang out with others. It has free wifi, so normally when I go here, its to pop open my laptop and surf away or when I had school papers to write.
