Forever 21

I wouldn’t write a review for a forever 21 store because typically, they’re all the same. However, all my times I visited here, I had no problems until I came here with my friend. We were shopping for dresses for graduation and decided to try on a few in the dressing room. There were three employees working in the room and they looked like they were annoyed! They were too busy gossiping and laughing to even say a «hello.» A guy pointed me towards the door and my friend was placed to the room next to me. I was changing and then my dressing room door opened… It was another customer trying to change in the room I was assigned to by the employee. She apologized but she didn’t need to because it wasn’t her fault! It was the worker’s fault for not noticing that I was in there in the first place… He was the one that placed me there but I guess he was too busy talking to his co workers to notice! The lines are usually really long too and there’s only 1 or 2 workers at the cashier. The others seem to be just standing around.

The only reason I gave this store 2 stars is the store manager, Angel. I don’t know how other people said associates here are friendly?! I found it’s not the same case for me, at least twice I came here. Both time I spent over $ 100 at the stores and nobody every said THANK YOU for shopping with us?! They didn’t say Hi how are you or Bye!!! When I asked a female associate on the floor to help me with a skirt, she told me «NO UPSTAIRS». She didn’t acknowledge me or look at me. When I went upstair, another associate told me to go downstairs. Good for them that their store manager is very nice and always willing to accommodate. Without that, I would not even bring my money to their store. These days I prefer to shop online than being at a store with those rude associates. Sorry but I have no time for your NEGATIVE ATTITUDE! Thanks Angel for making the experience more pleasant!!!

I am not 21, I am actually far from it (thankfully). However like any savvy lady shopper, I enjoy a good deal. This is a gigantic Forever 21 location, much like the store in West Covina (which I also visit). I like to come here for what I call «one season» items. You know, those throwaway, but cute dresses, tops, etc. that you don’t need to invest a lot into. I’m a big fan of their basic collection of tops and leggings and at an average of five bucks a pop, I don’t care when they fall apart three months after I bought them. Their worn in v neck shirts are my absolute favorite to sleep in. Additionally, this is one of my main places I go for accessories for work. To be honest, if you have a keen eye you are able to find the pieces that look expensive/​classy. I have gotten just as many compliments on necklaces I have bought here for $ 10 as necklaces I have dropped $ 50 on at Anthropologie. Their hosiery collection is also on point.
Staff here is extremely friendly and I have always been able to find my size.

This Forever 21 is exceptional. The Staff including the management is excellent, helpful & friendly. They have a great selection & i found a dress that I lost here with Amanda’s help. Jackie is wonderful as well as the managers Carlos & Beau! They deserve 5 stars!

Special shout out to Beau, today I called to check if they had some pants I had seen online and he was kind enough to pull them for me… the times I’ve shopped here have been good. Staff is friendly, store is huge so it can be overwhelming.

I love this location everything was organized in colors and styles, it made it so much easier to shop. It was clean and I will definitely be returning.

I called to see if they had a dress in another size that I ordered online. The guy I spoke too said they did so I asked if he could hold one for me and he said they’d call me back in 15 min. 3 hours later, still no c/​b. So I call back to find out. Seems like no one cares to help you. The girl just asked me to hold and I was on hold for almost 15 min. So I call back again and the same thing. No help at all. Associates suck there. Now I have to drive out of my way out there to see if they have the dress myself.

I came by this past weekend to look for some work shoes. This location is HUGE! Like seriously, it’s enormous & they have a great variety.
I came specifically to the shoe section but saw that they had a huge plus size section which most F21s by my home don’t have.
The fitting rooms were huge and the associates were very attentive and polite. I found some cute work skirts but no shoes (bummer!) but this location truly has something for everyone.
Checkout was quick and painless and left happy within a few minutes (an issue at other F21s where it seems they take FOREVER — no pun intended.
Overall, I was very happy with this location and I will be back.

This is one of the biggest and nicest Forever21’s I’ve ever been in! The selection here is so great. It’s super easy to find parking right out front of store, I have friends that drive really far to get to this location because it’s so easy to find things, so I’m glad I finally checked it out. One of the employees told me this is a corporate visuals training store (I wasn’t sure what that meant) so they get a lot better overall selection of clothes compared to other stores. Loved the store!!!

Went in to browse around, saw a cute dress, ask 3 store associates all in which pointed me to various locations in search for the dress that i never found. Not to mention one of the associates I approached to ask for help responded to me with a «What up?» Seemed pretty unprofessional to me, coming from a store associate, not a friend.

I shop here because the clothing is decently priced. Absolutely NOT for good customer service.

I really hate that Im leaving this review because I shop here often. The return policy is so ridiculous! It makes customers not want to be loyal and thats exactly what I shall be. When someone spends their hard earned money on your goods, they should at least have the option to get a full refund if an item doesn’t work out, the items are not worn, and are still within the number of days requested to make a return. Giving customers the ONLY option of having a store credit is bizarre. In other words your making sure the customer spends in your store once they buy something. A total SCAM! But a smart scam. Ill spend my money else where, like Zara.

I love how big their plus size section is! No pun intended lol. But really, they have a GREAT selection! It’s so refreshing to find trendy CUTE clothes for plus size women! Loooove it. If I’m not ordering online, I’m at this location!

Went to purchase a hat and sales associates look lazy and unattentive.
No greeting whatsoever so I just snatched the bag and rolled my eyes.
Maybe it’s just me, but I get annoyed easily.
I understand that forever21 has a really laid back working environment, but it’s more like a playground with all the nonsense chit chatting and fooling around.

Most of the time all the fitting rooms aren’t even open! Why build different fitting rooms if they’re always going to be closed?
The sales associates tend to be nice although not very knowledgable of where everything is.

I was sad that I went out of my way to show up to this particular location to find a particular sweater. After the husband and I desperately searched for it on our own, we decided to ask someone for help. We asked one of the workers and she was kind enough to look for it for us after searching in the computer system and seeing that they had 8 available in that particular location in my size. After a good 30 minutes or so, she informed me that the sweater might not be out in display yet and that it is most likely still in a box in the back. I wish she would have just gone to the back and maybe get it for me being that she had already informed me there was 8 in that location… instead she apologized and asked me to come back over the weekend which I didn’t. What makes me even sadder is that a few of my friends have come here before and usually someone is happy to go to the back and even get the items for them. Not sure if maybe my person didn’t care to do it or maybe she wasn’t allowed to do so but I left sad and empty handed. Oh wells. I still appreciated that she did her best to look through the whole entire store for me.

I just had the worse service in my life. I bought a sweater online that was a lil big 4 it’s size. I decided 2 take it back & get my money or get store credit since I shop online. Shopping in the store takes 2 long when the line is literally a 20minute wait because the cashiers are 2 slow. The cashier and manager literally said I couldn’t get store credit because the tag wasn’t attached (mind u, they have a gun 2 place it where it belongs) but can exchange it. Wtf, how does that even make sense?! I decided 2 call corporate and the rep agreed it didn’t make sense and 2 just go 2 another store since they’re being morons. He said as long as I have the tag, doesn’t matter if it’s attached or not. I should of called when I was there, oh well.
Complaint sent.

Definitely one of my favorite F21 stores!
Unlike most others, this one is extremely organized and easy to navigate :) they have enormous sections devoted to shoes and jewelry. They are also very up to date with their stock. Most items that appear online take a few days to hit the stores but I have found that this store always has the most recent items :)
Another great thing is that they almost always have sizes! Even if you can’t find your size, the workers here are happy and willing to help you out. The times I’ve been here, I’ve never had to look for a worker to help me. They always ask me if I need anything while I’m shopping.
Overall: huge variety, great customer service, organized :)

Stopped by with a friend to shop, place looks great. Spacious, lots of clothing, but they have the same thing placed in many different places. So if you’re looking for a size, you may have to go on a goose hunt. Also, they have NO ONE ON THE FLOOR. EVER. How are we supposed to get items that are hanging high up on the wall? So we had to scavenge for the long hook thing to help ourselves. But other than that, prices are good for what you’re buying.

I was a little bit skeptical upon entering this Forever 21 with my boyfriend’s sister earlier this week, being that the exterior of the building looked really old. But when we went inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the GORGEOUS layout of the store! I have never seen a prettier (or bigger) Forever 21. Two stories, with a ton of merchandise neatly displayed and mannequins with cute outfits put together.
The shoe department was SO nice — plenty of styles to choose from and, once again, I have to say, it was beautifully displayed — I even took a picture of it.
We easily spent about an hour in the store, looking around and trying on things we liked. I only ended up liking a pair of simple black heels and I was shocked to find out that they were actually on sale, $ 7 off! Such a steal.
The employees were pretty friendly. My cashier had some difficulty removing the security tag on my heels, but she persistently apologized for the wait and always had a smile on her face. She made me feel at ease, even when I was a little worried that the security tag would never come off. When the tag finally came off, she thanked me numerous times for waiting and just handled the situation very well, which I appreciated.
This is pretty much the only store in the Shops at Montebello that is worth your time. If I’m in this area again, I will more than likely make the stop here at Forever 21 again.
