Wow! What a positive change in customer service! The first few times when this coffee shop opened I didn’t have a good experience. But whatever. I’ve been back a lot more lately because of the change in friendly service. This spot beats the darn Starbucks on Beverly Blvd down the street. It’s loud, and hard to find parking there, so I come here to read and relax. Plus, I love to support local businesses. Shoutout to the friendly dude who works here. I don’t know his name. He’s a lot better than that other girl who never smiles and seems to hate working here.

I love the environment, I love how fresh the coffee tastes and I love supporting a local business rather than going to starbucks. But damn this place is pricey that it’s honestly just easier going to starbucks. A regular sized iced chai was $ 6.50 with 15% tip. That’s insane to me… the prices bother me but coffee is good, and workers are nice. Don’t come here too often though because it’s a bit pricey.

I have visited this establishment in the past, and this was my «go to» place in Montebello area until today! Before you read on, I am a believer of the small business community and appreciate those that work with the public and charitable organizations… But most importantly I am a firm believer of exceptional customer service and communication… Neither were exercised at this establishment this evening. Starbucks a few hundred yards North has better customer service… And I’m really disappointed in the ownership of this establishment, not the staff. And I will make the trip to «Tierra Mia Coffee» in Pico Rivera for my fix of ethnic flavors. You simply don’t do the following to a customer: I show up this evening to enjoy some quiet study time. Ownership shows up moments after I did and to everyone’s surprise, including front counter staff, the establishment is sponsoring a charitable event. The noise and disruption led to the owner tells us we have over an hour to wrap up, or we’re forced to pay a $ 10 donation to stay and be surrounded by noise. I’m already thinking… How rude. But then, moments later, the non-profit, «Heart of Compassion» shows zero compassion to the few of us studying and starts moving all of the furniture and hovering over us. And the so called organizer is rude and tries to defend the ruckus by throwing statistics at us… Really? I don’t doubt the cause, but don’t shove it down my throat. A bit of an argument with the«organizer» turns into me voicing my discontent with the owner, who doesn’t appear to have a backbone. I don’t follow your social media efforts, don’t make me feel responsible for not knowing of this event. The owner won’t give refunds… Yes I requested one, not because the overpriced drink will break my bank, but its the ethical thing to do. At a coffee house you pay for the product and surrounding service, but here they don’t honor that. So just like that, I get a half-hearted sorry and they proceed with their charitable event ignoring their customers. I’M NOTGOINGBACK… Not for the business, and not for the surrounding events, I will exercise philanthropic support elsewhere.

A friend recommended Daily Brew, and I’m glad she did! It has a relaxed atmosphere, decent teas and hot chocolate(I don’t drink coffee), fair pastries(great chocolate muffin; ask to double-heat the croissants to melt the interior ice), and complimentary wifi.(The smoothie is too watery for my taste but is otherwise okay.) In the 10 times I’ve visited, the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. People come to chat, work on their laptops, or grab a coffee on their way to work. There’s a conference room for groups to reserve. A piano and guitar are available for the public to use. A large-screen TV is always turned on, the volume is distracting(it plays gameshows, talkshows, infomercials, so I try to tune it out). There’s plenty of parking near-by(free, 2-hour posted limit). Superior to Starbucks.

Literally 5 stars for being the best study spot ever. The staff is friendly, the wifi is fast and it’s huge so there’s plenty of seating! Coffee is great, and it’s located around a lot of other restaurants! I had a salted caramel latte, very good! And not at all weird tasting like Starbucks! I will definitely be coming back often.

I love everything about this place, except the prices. I’ve been to a lot of LA coffee shops, and this place has the most expensive drinks that I’ve come across, by far. $ 3.50 for a plain black coffee is steep. But, it’s one of my favorite spots to hang out and read or write. It doesn’t get too loud, and though the food and drinks are expensive, they do taste good. Lower your prices, and you’d get a 5* from me.

The reviews at this spot were really deceiving. There was one worker that day and he was caught up on some sandwiches(looked pretty good) so it took a while for our order. Both to take our order and to receive it. The drinks were really really sweet! Almost unbearable. I mean, I did order an Abuelita latte, but I figured it would’ve been balanced. Not just pure Abuelita and ice. Also ordered the Almond Joy and white mocha, same issue just too sweet. Next visit I’ll have to try the sandwiches but stay away from the drinks. They should try perfecting those some more. The atmosphere seems really chill though!

Had the best Bulletproof coffee from here!!! If your looking for brain power and focus and want hours of clarity you must try this upgrade in coffee! It’s seriously the best. Worth the price! Great seating very comfortable for studying and getting work done! Can’t wait to bring my mom here. Should have gotten the baristas name that made my drink but all I can say is this place has got my attention and I have high expectations of my Joe.

I had always wanted to come here and finally did! I’m glad to say it wasn’t a disappointment! Complete opposite! It’s such a comfy, home-ish, cozy and chill environment! The man who was there tonight was the sweetest and so polite and blissful! Had great holiday spirit and their selections of drinks, food and pastries are good :) I came for a study session with a friend and we had a great time! Definitely will be coming back!

Cozy little place. Prices are fair and discounts are offered for teachers, students, and other. The sandwiches were a bit on the okay side, but the tea was awesome and so good! The shakes are pretty good too. Service is great though. Lots of local art and it’s so quaint. Has a real piano inside and I was tempted to play it but I let it go and just say back in the comfy couches instead.

I visited the Daily Brew Coffee Bar a few weeks ago and I fell in love! I got an iced dirty chai latte and my friend got the salted caramel latte. We both loved our drinks and seriously just wanted to savor it. I loved how our barista was so polite and started conversations with us. We appreciated the fact that he actually made our drinks by hand and didn’t just use syrup like how Starbucks does. We weren’t really expecting that either, so it was a nice surprise. I really liked the environment! It reminded me of just studying with your friends in someone’s living room. I noticed that they have flyers for karaōke and poetry nights, which seems pretty cool. It reminds me of the coffee shop in the show Friends. Too bad I don’t live closer, I would make this my go to study spot.

A very cute and quiant coffee shop in Montebello! I was here for a Montebello Kiwanis meeting and other than the various size tables and couches, they have a conference room in the back for official meetings! Comes legit with a big wooden table and comfy leather chairs too. Since I came early for the lunch meeting, I decided to pick up some food and drink. They have a build your own sandwich for $ 5.95. I chose croissant, turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and pesto. Other options include torta, ham, american, other types of cheese, mayo, and mustard. You can add a bag of chips to your order for 55 cents more or add avocado to the sandwich for $ 1.50 more. It was a long day and I really needed all the caffeine I could get, so cold brew coffee, regular size, it was! $ 3.50 more. Everything was great. The sandwich was deceivingly filling and the croissant was very flaky and buttery. They share a decent size strip mall parking lot, but there’s also street parking. Good to go with credit cards too!

Solid coffee shop. Opens early and stays open late. Great place to come do work. Every time i’m in town, I’ll come here to get work done. Free wifi, limited outlets. No one rushing you in or out. The drinks are good and they have a solid drip coffee offering. Staff is always friendly. Ambiance is welcoming and comfortable. It’s nice to know there’s a fun coffee shop in Montebello you can rely on, outside of the run of the norm Starbucks.
