I am very disappointed with this place. I used to come here all the time and never once had a complaint. That is until today, I made an appointment for 1:45. I show up 5 minutes before and sit in the seat where my usual nail tech has her station. I get up to look at designs while I wait and she takes another lady instead of me. When I see this lady is starting to get a full set done I complain that I had an appointment for a reason. But she continues this lady’s full set. I was about to leave when another lady started my pedicure. I will either make sure that I show up much earlier than scheduled or I will not come back. I haven’t decided yet. This is the first time this has happened to me. But not the first time I’ve seen it happen. Very irritating

Went to this place bcuz my usual manicurist is taking quite some time off due to back pain and doesn’t know when she will be returning. And my usual nail salon just isn’t cutting it anymore.
This salon is located near Ordoñez Mexican Restaurant in Montebello. My first visit was great. I didn’t have to wait for more than 15 mins. I was helped by Nina. She does a great french pedi by hand. She also did my manicure. I’m really picky about my manicures because some manicurists usually don’t cut down my cuticles close to my nail. And Nina was able to do my manicure just how i like it. She even took the time to go back and cut cuticles that she missed! Which will definitely have me coming back to this place. The prices are industry standard.
I waited to write this review after my second visit. For my second visit i went during the week and i was again helped after waiting no longer than 15 mins.
Would give this salon 5 stars if they get more regular nail polish colors (they seem to have a large selection of gel polishes).

Kathy Kathy Kathy! This is only for Kathy! She is the best and the sweetest!! she has been there forever! She takes her time. Will always fit you in and just died a great job! Mani/​pedi/​wax! All of it! My mom and I have gone to her for years! We love her!

I first heard about this place from my mom and sisters after moving back to the area. I’m pretty picky about nail salons and I’ve had a lot of bad luck trying to find one that’s clean, organized, friendly and that does a good job. Thank god for this place! I’m sure everyone does a great job but I’ve only had Tina do my manicures and Kathy do my pedicures and they both do an amazing job! I’m never disappointed when I leave! Tina also does AMAZING acrylic full sets. I’ve had her do it twice and she always does a beautiful job. Kathy is a miracle worker on my feet! She gets all the rough skin off and trims my nails to the perfect length. And another huge selling point for me is that aside from doing a great job they are super nice and friendly! A rare find in a nail salon unfortunately. So if you want a nice clean nail salon with fair prices and smiling faces that takes pride in their work you’ve got it here!

The best nail shop in montebello! Nina gives the best gel man and pedi! Her specialty is pedi! I moved to Lancaster but drive to Montebello every two weeks. Cant find someone better then Nina!

I came here for a quick Mani/​Pedi. Service sucks! I know they are not selling their service. They’re selling their skills but when there is a lot of other places just as «qwik stops» like yours why not be smart & compete with «good service» maybe even common courtesy?. They’re supposed to be closing at 7pm. By 6:50pm (Monday night) the lights were being turned off on me. I found myself waiting outside for my ride. The pedi water was cold. My nail color was messed up 3 times after the polish was on. I I had to reach out to get the color & then give it back. Very simple if you’re too tired to do your job that you’re getting paid for put the damn sign outside that says close. Don’t take in another client. If the client tells you what he/​she wants respect that. Don’t try to pick a different color or lie about not having the color (when your coworker is handing it to me) and then get upset because in the process it messed up my «clear» nail polish that your co worker is going to have to fix (again). I would have probably came back only because it’s so close to the bf’s house and because the work was not bad. It’s a «qwik nail fix stop». Definitely not a place where I’ll come with my daughter on our «girl dates».

I love this place because of Kathy. She is so sweet and ever since Debbie’s waxing closed down off poplar I had been searching. Kathy fits the bill, she always has time for me, is fast and my nails never lift or chip. I’ve been getting claws since 2010 and nail salons always try to convince me not to or charge me a ridiculous price, not the case here and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service.

This review is for Kathy only! She will always fit you in @ a timely request and genuinely takes care of you. I’ve been doing mani/​pedi for years (10yrs) with Kathy and only her. She is busy but that’s a good thing bc she does nails well. Kathy and Kathy only! She takes time with every customer! You can always bring you own supplies, which is safer in case you don’t want fungal toe’s or nails! She never gets upset if you ask her to change or do something different which is a good thing, makes you feel comfortable ;) Thanks Kathy.

I Honestly Love Kathy! She is really really good and have been going with her for about 6 years now. They sold the nail shop about 1 year ago and I was SOOO happy to hear Kathy stood and also very happy that the new owner kept the same good prices they had before.

Went to «NT» for a pedicure on Friday the 17^th and was very pleasantly surprised, my daughters go to Kathy for nails and love love love her!!! Going to get a full set tomorrow morning and will update my review then… HIGHLY recommend NT for the pedicure as she is quick yet gentle and thorough … already have my sissy converted as well, make sure to ask for these two gals for each service as they are great!!!

Horrible customer service! Came in for a simple nail fix and polish change… waited for 1hr before being seen! Lady in the front told me it wouldn’t be too long and to have a seat. Since there wasn’t anyone else waiting, I figured it would be fast. WRONG! Instead of giving me the option to wait or come back later… she had me sit and wait.
Took 2hrs from the time I went in to the time I was finished! I could go to any nail shop and they would have been finished much faster. Especially when it’s a simple service of a nail fix and polish change. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Horrible service today!
Went in for a spa mani/​pedi today and asked to use the offer from Unilocal,the queen of the store had no idea what I was talking about! Half hr later the sister came in and explained the situation!
When I was calmly asking about the service the queen got crazy!!! If you can’t clearly explain your prices, get someone who can! Don’t try to prove your customer wrong… when they were right all along.

Helen is my nail lady. She is alright, sometimes I feel like she just rushes through it and when I leave it feels like my nails are incomplete and sometimes the way she files my nails the ends feel so sharp. I keep telling her every time that I need round but she doesn’t seem to listen.
