Came here bc I got tried of going to tasty garden for late night dinner. This was another option bc they open til midnight. actually the sign is wrong bc they actually close at 11pm. We went at 1030 assuming it closed at midnight. They didn’t tell us they closed at 11 after we ordered our food. There was only four tables left but they stopped letting people in before 11. There was at least three other parties trying to get in to get. Wonton and soup is salty but the wonton are just whatever. The chicken skewer is descent size too much pepper though. And it wasn’t too warm anymore. Xiao long biao was just normal tasting. Thank god for black vinegar and ginger for flavoring. Lastly the pan fried dumpling was small for its size and tasted just normal. Everything here you can get frozen at the market and cook at home any time of the day without people rushing you to leave. I’ve never eaten wit a group of friends where we we order sit eat pay and leave within 30 min. Speed eAting or enjoy your eating. PLEASECHANGEYOURCLOSINGTIMEOUTSIDE

When boyfriend and I can’t decide what to eat, we end up eating here. haha. They have a really solid beef noodle soup. Be sure to order the hand torn noodles ! They’re chewy and have a great texture versus the other noodle they offer. Also, boyfriend likes the beef roll here as well! This restaurant is nothing special. The service is meh like any other asian café. But, it’s a good place to stop for beef roll or noodle soup. Plus it’s close, fast, and affordable!

We were just walking by and saw some people thru the window eating beef pancake roll which looked pretty good. Being that it was lunch time and neither I nor the GF had eaten I thought what the hell, why not give them a try? So we went in and the place was cute, clean and we were seated right away. The server arrived quickly and when I told him I wanted Iced Tea with little or no sugar he quickly suggested the Lemon Tea from several different varieties on the menu. We ordered the beef pancakes roll and it was as delicious as it looked. The Iced Lemon Tea was pretty good too! All things considered we enjoyed our lunch and we definitely plan to return.

Only the beef rolls were above average. Shrimp plus pork Fried dumplings not bad but would be better if had crisper skin but that’s a matter of preference.

Good service. Good drinks, I recommend the matcha smoothie. And great food, all for a bargain price. I normally go to the one on valley but since this one is closer to home, I have no complaints. The lamb skewers are the best around too! Yum. I don’t know what’s up with all the negative reviews but most of the time the customer service is on point with me and my friends. Will be back with the family for dinner next week.

This place is kind of like Mama Lu’s. Ordered juicy pork dumplings, juicy crab dumplings, green onion pancake, beef noodle soup, and beef wrap. They all tasted up to standards. Interior and service are fine but it was confusing that they expected us to share one small ginger saucer and when we asked for one each, they sounded shocked. Oh well, probably won’t come back. Sticking with Mama Lu’s for sure.

Their Negatives* If you went at night, they’ll make you pay the bill even if you weren’t finished eating yet and rushed us so they could close and they still had time During lunch, Chopsticks weren’t cleaned properly, my friend and I needed to wipe them down with our napkins and the white stain didn’t come off Menus were given to us late Servers weren’t polite Drinks weren’t yummy, especially water Bao lacked of flavor, my friend’s Bao was Oily plus didn’t taste right, and their Rice + Vinegar tasted off They gave us the bill even though we weren’t finished eating yet If you don’t give tip and you’re right outside, they’ll come up to you and get into your face to give them tip regardless if you don’t have enough money(they made a Huge fuss as if you didn’t pay the bill) Their Positives* Seated us right away

I’ve been coming here since they first opened. Their first year was actually not bad but as years pass, it got worse. I did really enjoyed it at first but now I don’t . Cons : — Rude most of the time. — Food taste really odd and very oily. — Vinegar taste like fake vinegar. — Chopsticks looks like they spread detergent all over it, no matter how many times i wipe it, it’s still quite dirty. — Chicken roll wrap is only wrap with all the fat, no meat. — Water taste horrible. — Normally take forever to seat us except once. — Slowly gave my friend and I the menu’s. — Server’s stare at as a few times. — Gave us the check really fast… when we didn’t ask for it yet. — Sometimes food takes forever to come out. — Steamed Mini Pork buns… Their inside taste bland and quite oily inside. Pros: — The passion green tea tasted pretty good. The cons and pros are from this year. Today, it’s my last time coming here. Never coming back. We didn’t tip them today. I went into a store, my friend was waiting for me outside and the women came out and said in loud voice that the check said she has to give $ 2.00 tip. My friend said we didn’t have enough. She seem like she didn’t understand. She spoke Mandarin or Cantonese(the waitress). She was pissed off and did some rude hand gestures and was saying something in Mandarin or Cantonese(waitress) . I’ve been giving them plenty of chances because i come every few months and they have been the same and also have tip them all the time except this time because i had enough of them being super rude and food taste really odd. Today, was the day I decided i’m done with them. I’m glad my friend and i didn’t tip them because seeing the waitress coming out. .being rude to my friend for tip… I see their true colors. They only care for the money and not for giving the customers a good services.

Just visited this location couple of days ago. I’m with a bunch of friends and we’re all hungry, so we decided to grab a quick bite so walked in. I find this restaurant very simple yet elegant. They have a very nice table that has a ringer. It looks like a door knob, that’s quite useful to get the attention of the server. I ordered Beef Roll and Noodle. The Beef Roll as delicious but the noodles is quite disappointing, very bland, in fact it doesn’t have good taste at all. The serving staff are not rude but not that too friendly either, I don’t even saw one of them smiling at me, anyway not a big deal.

So my wife just went here a few minutes ago and had the worse experience EVER! For starters there was no atm inside or nearby at all. She was told to go to a Daiso nearby and was unhelpful after that. Everything’s gotta cash apparently. The crazy part was that she used three credit cards and there was money on credit cards but they were declined?! Thank you for affecting our credit now… They made it feel like it was her fault the cards were not working and that embarrassed her. Food took too long to make. She left and arrived there at 655p and just came back here at 917p. The order was not complicated and shouldn’t have taken that long to make. Plan your restaurant around a dinner rush and make it happen. No customer should wait that long with a rating as high as you have. They not only took a very long time to take her order but then took an order for someone who came in after her before she got around to getting her order taken. They have no sense of first come first serve or they may have secret hook-ups on regular customers. Not professional at all! When she tried to cancel it the manager told her they had already made my food and refused to discount or cancel. Then they insisted she pay and that when they made her food they angrily said she would have to pay her that instant. Will never come back. PERIOD.

Service is lackadaiscal, but competent enough. Unlike the one on Valley, the space is wider, it’s in a more popular plaza, and it’s well-designed with comfy booth seats. But, I still feel like it’s lacking in spirit. The other on Valley has always been lively whereas this one feels a bit glum, maybe it’s the black interior and tables paired with the servers’ nonchalance. At least that’s how I felt the several times I’ve been here. We ordered a fair amount of food, and the beef roll is still the standout here. Hot and sour soup isn’t bad either, nor are their other dishes which are substantial and tasty(cucumber cold dish/dumplings). They need to be more on key on their opening and closing times though or at least change the Unilocal hours to accurately reflect what their real times are. One time, I waited 10 minutes after their opening time for them to open, and another, I came in a little under a hour of their closing time, and there was already a handwritten sign on the front door scribbled with«Closed.»

Horrible service. Cheating on food portion. I have ordered special Mediterranean on Citadel outlet mall. It contains 2 beef roll, rice and some chicken. but when i got my food, they cut one beef roll to 2 piecesand when i complain, they said this is what it is. Very rude and impolite. The food is also too expensive. Plz plz stop going there and don’t waste your money and time.

I wanted to like this place but I just couldn’t. The service was really slow. One lady was very nice and attentive, while the other was slow and expressionless. It’s hard to say. The food was going to be my main ranker anyways. It’s an Asian place, what can I expect? The stir fried chow mein noodles I got were good, but not good enough to make me come back. I could get something of similar quality anywhere else. The lamb skewers were whatever, don’t bother. The xiao long bao(crab) was not good to me at all. It wasn’t the worst I’ve had, but I probably won’t go back again. I’d rather go to Mama Lu’s.

It’s a good place to fill your spicy beef stew noodle soup cravings. Get it with hand torn noodles! It taste more fresh and the noodles are thicker. The pan fried pork dumplings are pretty good and juicy. Eat it while it’s hot be used it taste better hot. There’s the juices from the pork meat that bursts out when you bite into the dumpling. My BF likes the hand torn noodles with peanut sauce. It’s a peanut sauce dry noodle. Add some chili oil into it and it’s prefect! Service can be a little slow when it’s busy. It’s ok but don’t expect too much of it.

The Apple Fell Far From The Tree Man, I had high hopes for this one being in a new clean location but this really made me sad. I like eating good food(generic I know), it makes me happy inside. I’m like Captain Planet but except instead of the energy of the sun that gives him energy, it’s food. The restaurant is almost night and day from the Valley location, it’s like the younger rogue sister that never launched and the parents are still trying to get her out of the house to get married. Any takers? Hold the grease, hold the dry. The key to any beef roll is in it’s outer pastry, if that’s not perfect, you’ve lost before the game even started. In this case, it’s dry, floppy, soggy at parts, and just straight up sad. The noodles were drenched in oil. Wanted to get a napkin and pat it down for its oil before I ate it. After every bite I had to wipe my mouth down and the by the end of the meal the napkin was piratically sea through.

Came here expecting to get the same attention and taste as the Irvine location and came out super disappointed! 1. Service was very slow & they didn’t seem to care. 2. Food took really long even though there were no customers except from us. Ordered dumplings, beef rolls and soup. Ah sadly, I won’t come back.

i see a lot of complaints of service at this location. The answer? Take that fried dumpling for take out and eat it at the comfort at your own house! Then you wont have to deal with any rude servers that hate their jobs. The food is delicious and oily. just the way chinese food should be. Few of my favorites: Dalu Pork Noodle Soup with hand-torn noodles 7.99 Spinach and shrimp pan fried dumplings 8.50 Cold mix vegetables(from the side dishes menu) 4.49 Frozen food to-go //Dumplings They have several locations and i’m a fan =D

Such a disappointment… Craved Taiwanese food and thought this place could satisfy my craving. But nope. I was wrong. This is what I ordered for a party of two *Their beef rolls — this was actually good and the best dish of everything I’ve ordered. *Cucumber side — was refreshing to eat with the other dishes we ordered. very light and has a nice crunch. Sad to say, this was the only other dish that was good. *Dan Dan main — Sauce was watered down and didn’t have much flavor. I’ve had better. *Xiao long bao — Mehhh… I’ve had better. Would I come back? Probably not.

101 Noodle Soup is the 2nd outpost of a very popular place known for beef rolls, noodle soup, and dumplings. Supposedly the original super popular location closed down temporarily for sanitary reasons but it’s completely different here. Large, spacious, and clean with modern plasma televisions lining the walls. Service is friendly but they’re busy so you’ll have to be assertive with what you need. Menu is simple with numerous choices but great pictures to help you decide. Our order: Beef Roll — $ 7.99. Excellent and very generous portion. Nice ratio of crispy pancake and tender and flavorful beef and scallion. We have similar items in NorCal but cost is about twice as much and not quite as good. Must order. Pork Spareribs with Hand Pulled Noodles — $ 7.99. Another popular dish. The hand pulled noodles were a bit limp and overcooked but the broth was tasty. The spareribs were tasty but not as moist and tender as some reviews I’ve read. A decent bowl. Steamed Bok Choy Vegetables with Garlic — nice to get some vegetables in. Lemon Tea with free refill and Milk Tea Boba — $ 3.99 for two. Hard to beat. Overall, a solid and very clean restaurant with fast service. Beef roll was a standout but the other items were just solid. 101 Noodles accepts credit cards.

I love noodles! Was hungry at 9pm on a Saturday night so we headed out to 101 Noodle Express because Mama Lu’s closes at 9:30pm and my tummy was very happy! FOOD: — dan dan mien with hand torn noodles — oh yummm! The hand torn noodles are great! Unevenly torn, with a great texture. We mixed up the noodles until everything was coated in the sauce and veggies. — pork xiao long bao — sooo much soup inside! Good enough and totally hit the spot. — pork roll — I’ve never been able to have a beef roll(because I don’t eat beef) so I was super happy to see that they have a pork(and chicken) version on the menu! So good, love the crispy texture and fresh herbs Everything was even more yummy when you dip it into your own sauce of say sauce, vinegar and chilies! SERVICE: Fine, food came out quickly and waters were refilled when I flagged down waiters. VENUE/PARKING: Place is large and nicely lit so you can see your food, but aren’t too close to other tables. They have TVs. Located in Atlantic Times Square next to Curry House, plenty of parking in the underground structure.
