We’ve often stopped by this store when on Fisherman’s Wharf. There’s a taffy pulling machine in the front window that looks like the one on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk that fascinated me as a child, and a variety of sweet temptations inside. We stopped in tonight to pick up some salt water taffy for our darling son-in-law. We bought that and I managed to ignore the blandishments of assorted candied apples, different kinds of popcorn, including the pink brick from my childhood, and chocolates of various kinds. It helped that I was full from dinner, but there’s always room for a piece of chocolate and I resisted. The store smelled so good and looked clean and pretty.
