My wife and I stopped in and met Hanni while on a babymoon in Monterey. Lilify is such a beautiful shop! The variety of wares was delightful and reasonably priced for such quality and beautiful pieces! We went home with a new hanging planter for our nursery, clever greeting cards for friends and a new purse for my wife. Hanni took the time to engage with us and share her own baby stories which created a memorable customer experience.
This will for sure be a place we visit anytime we are in Monterey! Thank you!

I myself have been a barista for 10+ years plus my family owns another local coffee shop. Being a coffee buff, I love trying new places! I ordered a 12oz double soy latte with a splash of vanilla. To start, they use Kikkoman soy milk which is thee best. I was happy to receive my latte which was made to perfection. Soy was steamed correctly with beautiful foam plus my espresso wasn’t bitter. Topped it off with their unique option of coconut sugar which was to-​die-​for.
The guy said they make all their own pastries so I chose to buy one of the day-​old plain croissants since there weren’t any fresh ones… it was still very delicious so imagine what a fresh one would taste like!
Only reason I don’t give this place a 5-​star is because I simply asked the barista if they have a punch card (just in case I should start one since I live right up the street) and his response was a bit dramatic saying «no we don’t, and I hope we never do. We’re not that kind of place»…like wtf does that mean… I was simply just asking geez.
Otherwise the place is cute with lots of handcrafted home goods as well as the cutest collection of cards for any occasion.

Great selection of home stuff and giftware. Extremely friendly service as well. Easy to shop, there’s beautiful bowls and jewelry and soaps. I also appreciated the greeting cards.
Am bummed I just found this place, but happy I know of it now.

The best coffee in Monterey! I come here every time I’m in town. When I’m back home, which is 1 hour away, I crave their vanilla latte. They use home made syrups, which you can really taste in the coffee. They also have nice art work on display to buy or to just admire. A must visit while in the Cannery Row area.

Best espresso on the planet.

This shop has the CUTEST and cleverest greeting cards. Skip the big box store, come here, and spend the extra $ 1 to get a unique/​crafty/​hip card for any occasion. All cards are $ 5! Total deal! And there’s some really cute stationary, too.
I also bought some locally made soaps that smell amazing and were super affordable for a locally crafted good. The pottery and jewelry are more pricey, but are really cute and unique. They would make a great special occasion gift for you or someone special. Compared to other stores like this, though, I wouldn’t say the prices on jewelry and pottery aren’t too expensive.

I love this store! They have the most unique and beautiful pieces. Price point may be on the higher side on some items but I believe you get what you pay for here. The husband and wife team that own the store are lovely and super helpful. We love the design of the store as well and always make it a point to stop in whenever in the area.

I liked the atmosphere but I ordered a pour over coffee and it basically tasted like water with coffee flavor. My friend ordered the Moroccan mint tea, which also tasted like water. No mint flavor at all. Prices are good but but it was $ 2.50 spent on flavored water

We were in Monterey on Christmas vacation with my whole family of 9, and we all needed a caffeine fix. Bright Coffee looked excellent, so we came for that. This lovely shop has an amazing selection of little knick knacks, pottery, gift cards, and jewelry. Also, great music on the old school vinyl record player.

I stopped in here a week back initially because I had heard about Bright Coffee inside and when I stopped in I thought wow is this really in Monterey? Felt like I stepped into a shop in the Mission hood in SF! Super well curated collection of art and gifts from local artisan jewelry, scarves, ceramics, handbags, etc. I literally can and will probably do most of my Christmas shopping here! Oh and my chai latte was wonderful! :)

This place is a hidden gem! Best coffee/​tea and the place itself is a work of art!

Such a cute little place for gifts! Unique bags, jewelry, candles, cards, and other odds and ends. I think they also do flower arrangements and were working on a job for wedding when we went in. Very creative display and setup and I love that it shares the space with Bright Coffee.

This place is amazing! I stop by once a day for my pick me up coffee and never leave without wanting a piece of jewelry or one of their unique bags.

I drove by this shop and on a whim parked the car and walked on in. I loved it! I chatted with one of the owners who was lovely as I browsed. Everything was so well merchandised and thoughtfully placed. The items for sale were as gorgeous as the way that they were displayed.
It was the first time in 6 months of traveling across the USA that I actually wished that I had a home right now. If I did, I would have bought several items to decorate my abode.
A wonderful mix of taste, quality, and creativity — this is by far my most favorite find in Monterey.

I’ll add to what has been already said here. The owners have put together a excellent collection of artisan home goods and gifts all with (for lack of a better description) modern/​rustic/​bohemian vibe. Its been a great addition to Monterey and the growing (I hope) «lighthouse district». Its my go-​to store for cool and stylish gifts. Also, while not a typical walk in a pick out a bouquet kind of flower store, they do beautiful arrangements for all occasions.
It is pricey (its not a nick-​nack store), but its reflected in the quality and artistry of what they carry.
A bonus is Bright Coffee, which lives inside of Lilify… great espresso drinks !

The boutineers were loaded with personality!
The center pieces on the tables were show stoppers!
And I am just the MoG so I did not get the added pleasure of all the creative meetings and planning which I understand were equally wonderful!

What a charming building with wonderful gifts, vintage items and artisan goods. Love finding treasures I won’t see anywhere else. The service is excellent without being intrusive. Happened to see a wedding that was done by Lilify and the floral arrangements were outstanding.

Clutter

Lillify is a party of gifts, goods, and artisan wares, hand selected and sought after by the owners Hanni and Jesse. The items are all of exquisite taste, and quality. I find my girlfriend loves pretty much everything in this store, so it’s often my go to gift shop for all occasions. Plus, Hanni and Jesse are super cool!
While you’re browsing, sip on a cup of Bright Coffee (who share the space) and listen to some of the tasty vinyl nuggets playing in the background. Pretty nice little Saturday.

This place is just adorable! It is owned and run by a cute young, hip couple. Upon walking in for the first time, I realized how much larger it is inside than I expected after driving by it multiple times on Lighthouse. It’s filled with beautiful treasures and trinkets thoughtfully placed throughout.
Lilify offers multiple things:
1. They are a unique store that features handmade items by several artists. Rustic, vintage, high end, and quality… perfect for gifts! I recently purchased an amazing handmade candle and candle holder here that I am in love with.
2. They are a flower shop. Hanni, the owner creates beautiful, unique arrangements. My husband knows that I hate typical boring rose bouquets so he opts to buy me flowers from here. Love love love them.
3. They recently began to serve coffee here by Bright Coffee. I have not tried it yet so I can’t comment on it.
All in all… this is a wonderful addition to Monterey and I highly recommend it for those that are looking for a unique gift or household item. They did a wonderful job renovating and restoring the old building and gave it a beautiful makeover.
