We weren’t expecting much based off the mediocre Unilocal reviews, but this place pleasantly surprised us. Service was very friendly and they are very family friendly here. Alot of the other restaurants in the area don’t allow strollers and such, so it was nice to have this place be very accommodating. Sure the prices are not exactly value oriented, but alot of it goes to the excellent ocean view you get for most seats. I can’t talk to much to how the pastas tasted, but my chicken and fries dish was excellent. The chicken was incredibly tender yet the breading was crispy and light.

We had sampled the clam chowder, very good-​hearty, lots of clam bits, did not have any over powering celery taste. Two free cups when activated on Unilocal.
We had the signature ciopinno dish with toasted garlic bread. The tomato broth was hearty sea food with shrimp, clams, calamari, mussels, garlic, fish, crab legs. Great combo dipping with bread.

Speedy friendly service. A beautiful view of the ocean. Delicious fried artichoke appetizer followed by scrumptious mahi mahi tacos.

We were sat down at our table and waited about 20 minutes for someone to come to the table and take our order for our drinks. The waiter wasn’t very friendly either. The food, however, was wonderful once we ate. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars.

Had 2 free cups of their tasty clam chowder when checked-​in on Unilocal!They also give free clam chowder sample beside the staircase on the ground floor. The restaurant is up on 2nd level.
They were able to fit us in, a party of 9, at 6.30pm on a weekend night. Sent text message to us when table is ready, though we still had to wait a little at the restaurant, not too long.
The Loiue’s Sampler appetizer was a-​ok. Pasta dishes were a-​ok.
We ordered their signature cioppino, which came with half a snow crab, plenty of seafood and some toasts. Delicious!
Take the time to look at the décor. You will see Louie’s photo super-​imposed on many different locations with famous people, giving funny explanations of why he is there. There is also a life-​sized Bruce Lee figure at the bathroom. Go figure.

My family and I go here every year after visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium and we enjoy the food every time. The food is great, (some items are better than others) and oceanside view is amazing but the meals are a bit pricey. Our server, Yesi, was kind and very polite and I remember her being extremely helpful last year when our family had to make a special order for my cousin, who had an egg allergy.
Blackened Pacific Snapper– great portion of fish, accompanied by simple sides of rice and cooked veggies, lacking in seasoning but awesome for those who want a healthier meal
Mahi Mahi Tacos– definitely one of the best items on the menu! Three tacos (they don’t skimp on the protein) and classic diner fries yummm
Bonus: when you check in you get 2 free cups of clam chowder

This is my second time coming to this place to eat in Monterrey. I checked in on Unilocal for some free clam chowder! I didn’t think I liked clam chowder because I kind of have a thing against seafood and more specifically clams (who do they think they are?). The views from this place are awesome, you can look over downtown Monterrey or over the ocean. Between all of us we got the chowder, pizza and pasta which were all really good. It’s also a reasonable price too. They have matches at the front to take when you leave. No one has that anymore so they gained my respect with that bold move.

Wow… just WOW!!! This place is so warm inside, so rustic and down to earth. The views are amazing, and the staff are SO friendly!
We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for my youngest granddaughter… it came on a really cute plastic plate, shaped like a blue and white fish. She loved it! Me, my daughter and other granddaughter ordered clam chowder, fried artichokes and the caprese salad. Everything was so SO good, I can’t wait to go back there again. My mouth gets happy just remembering how tender and flavorful their homemade mozzarella is… Yumm!!!

While the staff was very friendly, I paid $ 42 for two ridiculously small portioned, strange tasting chicken fettuccini Alfredo dishes. :(
