I was missing my precious carbonara sub! I used to get it frequently when I was back in college but all the stores in my area closed down! I visited this location to satisfy my craving but instead got all grossed out. There were gnats hovering over the peppers and sauces. Sad day. And I saw only after I ordered. DARN. Never again from this location.

Amazing owner… I agree, this guy knows what he is doing. It seems like he was dropped out from a genuine italian movie about food and hospitality. He’s no corporate jockey. He’s a genuine character. The place is clean and I really enjoyed the Spicy Monterrey sandwich. I’ll be coming back again and again…

Every time I decide I’m going to try them again… I realize why I stopped going there!!! It’s ALWAYS dark and gloomy! Today the 2 girls working were in their conversation not acknowledging my co-worker & I standing there. Several minutes later took our order(which ended up wrong) as they kept having their juicy conversation! Skimped on ALL ingredients(lettuce really???) My Turkey, Bacon Guacamole(about a tablespoon) was not tasty at all! Chili/pickle bar items were dried out & sour! This will definitely be my LAST time going there.

HOLYCOW! I have never wanted to leave a bad Unilocal review so bad in my life. Yesterday around 1:30pm my mom and I were driving home and decided to stop for sandwiches. We walked in and noticed it was overwhelmingly dark and EMPTY. Now for a Monday at that time I wasn’t to surprised. A really nice girl helped me, and my mom could not figure out what she wanted. She finally decided on some soup. So we walk to where they prepare the sandwich after the toaster and I go to pay for everyone’s lunch and a guy walks out from the back with a BAG of soup and cuts it and pours it in a warming bowl. OHMYGOD. I almost just walked out. My mom looked at me for some sort of reaction and then said actually I do not want that soup and the guy look discussed. SERIOUSLY? The least they could have done was pour the soup out in the back not in front of a customer. They had NO soup premade. We got home and my dad said his french dip was like meat on a hot dog bun. I will never ever be back and after spending 22 dollars on what ended up being the worst 3 sandwiches we have ever had. I do not see this place staying in business much longer. GOODLUCK.

I’ve eaten here twice in the last few weeks, the second time because I was hoping that my first time was just a one off bad experience. The staff are rude. As we were walking into the store, one of the staff, clearly late for work, shoved past us, literally pushing me out of the way, as he walked to the back of the store. Two seconds later he was back in the front of the store. I ordered the Beef Dip sandwich. I was told they didn’t have the right dressing for this very popular sandwich(right at the start of the lunch period). When I said that that was a shame the worker literally rolled her eyes at me. My husband’s hot pastrami sandwich was ice cold in the middle. We mentioned it but didn’t have time to reorder as we had an appointment elsewhere and, quite frankly, didn’t want to put up with the bad attitude of the worker who seemed annoyed by the fact that we had mentioned the cold sandwich. Montrose is such a pretty place but next time we will be seeking some alternatives for our quick meal.
I’m not the biggest fan of franchises, but this place does things right. They are well managed and give great service while being very accommodating. Quiznos has expanded their menu that features something for everyone. This is a great location right behind Coffee Bean. Perfect seating outdoors on a nice and sunny day. If you are looking for a quick lunch, this is your spot right here.

I came here last night 9pm-ish and ordered a Turkey, Bacon, Guacomole sandwich with everything on it. Took it home and took a few bites in to it and realized there WASNOGUACOMOLE in the sandwich. I was too tired to go back and get it fixed… The people working there, daughter and dad, were very nice and friendly though. Sigh… but how can you not remember the MOSTIMPORTANT part of the sandwich?! If you’re going to order a sandwich here, make sure you watch what they put into your sandwich.

I’m someone who also avoided this place because of the horrible owner and how slow this place was, along with one employee that just drove me nuts because he was so annoying. As much as I love the sandwiches here and especially their horseradish, it is so expensive compared to that of Subway, I even like Togos better because I can get their pastrami for cheaper than a regular sandwich here. It is just so close that I can’t resist. My first day back here was yesterday. Not realizing the owners had changed, but right off the bat the service was 100% better! I was very pleased. Both employees were awesome and so polite, they went above and beyond in niceness to every customer that came in. Completely different from what the old management, etc was like. The girl that made my lunch told me in her opinion what the healthiest stuff was, since I’m watching it. I loved her suggestions, they just weren’t filling :(I wanted the 2 for $ 5.50(used to be $ 5, which is why Subway is the best in pricing imo), so I opted for a turkey bullet, no cheese or mayo and the harvest chicken salad, small of course. I was somewhat hungry after I was done, but seriously, the employees were so nice to talk to(the cashier even apologized for the hold up since they had only two people working there and it was busy) that I will come back more than I usually have in the past.

Not a very good experience with this location at all. The staff is very stupid, I had to tell them my order like 6 times, to which they still messed it up, and then when they are asking what I want on my sandwich I had to say each thing one at a time and wait for them to finish putting it on before I could say they next thing or else they would just stand their looking at me very confused. I’ll avoid this location

Update: 06/03/2011 I came in here this week to reevaluate the place. Last time I was here service was slow, yet as soon as it was my turn I felt as if I was being rushed to get out. This time I was immediately greeted with a smile and my order was taken right away. My sandwich came out nice and toasty just the way it should. I even had a little chat with the new owner who was so genuinely kind and really wants to make a change and turn things around for the store. Try this one out! This place is worth a shot. _______________________________________________ Decent for a Quizno’s. The guys behind the counter seemed new, but they were nice. I don’t remember asking them to put lettuce in my toasted sandwich… that was interesting.

I rarely go to sandwiches places unless I’m out voted as the case for today. I’m difficult to impress with food I can easily make at home… so… The people were nice. The place looked clean and well maintained. I like the patio seating outside. No wow factor today:/

Thank GOD for the new people that took over! The new owners know how to take care of their customers. The establishment is clean and the employees are very helpful and polite. There is lots of parking so its easy to get in and to get out. I tried the Torpedos and they are a really good snack!

Again, this is the Quizno’s by my work, so I go there quite a bit. Never had any problems with the staff, in fact they actually like talking to me about the Lakers. But on to the food. Quizno’s kind of lost me when Subway came out with the $ 5 footlongs, because as delicious as Quizno’s is, it is expensive as hell. But with the advent of Quizno’s $ 5 Subs, especially the $ 5 meatball, I have returned to Quizno’s to relish its subs. Subway may be more affordable, but Quizno’s is hot, fresh, and tasty. If you’re up to pay for it, it’s well worth it.

I agree with the person below. Th owner is not only a total, complete a55, but he’s cheap on top of it. Everything here is overpriced, so the least I could get is some decent service. I bought a Sobe juice for my son and it had a plastic cover inside I had never seen before. This guy is a moron, He starts giving me an attitude about HISMERCHANDISE and instead of swapping it out for a different soda just to be on the safe side, he risks a lawsuit. Can you say DOUCHEBAG? No wonder the workers are always arguing here. They have to deal with him as a boss. Any other Quizno’s is fine, just not this one!

i came here a while ago. i ordered something and i was the only person in there. i get that it’s not«fast food» but hell, it took over fifteen minutes. unacceptable. that sandwich would have already been in my stomach had i made one for myself at home.
