The name catches your attention but the food will keep you coming back! I had the breakfast, it was tasty and the portions were HUGE to say the least. The french toast was fluffy which I usually can say I find to be mushy at most places, was exceptional! It was presented with a a cut and grilled banana, which was so visually appealing and tasty. They are very good with details and presentation which to me means a lot at a restaurant. We have brunch for 4 for less than $ 60 which to me was amazing, with the portion sizes. Overall I was very pleased with the food and service, will definitely be back for the Chicken and Waffles because I saw someone getting it and my mouth watered ever after having a full belly!

The food here is pretty good. The portion sizes are big, and there is a lot to chose from on the menu. My biggest problem with this place is the staff. I come here a few times a year and every single time there is an issue with staff. Most recently I went here for dinner after a concert, it was around midnight, barely anyone in the restaurant the waiter took over 20mins to bring us our check so we could pay and leave. We couldn’t even find him to ask for it. The visit before that our waitress had a attitude.(I was giving her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a rough day.) her attitude was so bad though that the table across from us that she was waiting on actually said something to her about her attitude. It’s small things like this that can make or break your visit, and more recently it’s just been disappointing.

My husband and I went here before reading any reviews and had never heard of the place before setting foot inside. We thought it was a gimmick and were skeptical, but were pleasantly surprised to find that the breakfasts were reasonably priced and very good. One thing that I think should be remembered when setting foot into a place like this is that it’s basically a greasy spoon with a little modern styling and blown up photos from old time diners or grocery stores. Don’t expect to go here and find haute cuisine. This is a modern twist on diners long past where everything is homemade. I’m old, I’ve been everywhere, I’ve eaten at a lot of hash houses and this is the real deal. The toast was made from delicious artisan bread. Even the width of the slices was irregular. The strawberry preserves were phenomenal and tasted homemade. The vanilla waffle was heavenly. Not too heavy, not too light, cooked just right and had just the right amount of vanilla-ey flavor. The sausage was also delicious. I want to go back for the fried chicken and waffles. I’ve had them in Harlem and want to compare. So far I like the waffles at Hash House better than what I’ve had there. The only slight disappointment were the hash browns, which were a little dry. The flavor was on point though, but perhaps had a little too much rosemary for my taste. I’m not sure how I feel about some of the other more«twisted» concoctions — I don’t care about them, though, because I’ll be thinking about this breakfast for a long time to come.

Omg this place is just awful. 3 of us ate here last Sunday morning and we ordered breakfast. We took 3 bites and called it a day.

Went to breakfast here on the last day of our vacation and it did not disappoint. Ordered the chorizo hash and it was really tasty. My wife ordered the snickers pancake. It was huge and surprisingly good. Definitely a place we’ll go to again.

It was my first time at Hash House. Was here for lunch while waiting to attend a basketball game. The food was amazing, portions are huge and service is quick. Their mojitos are delicious! The pictures I posted speak for themselves. If you have never gone it’s a must try!

Had breakfast at Hash House A Go Go before departing Mohegan Sun this morning. We’ve come to expect decent, good-tasting breakfasts from Hash House A Go Go, this morning was no exception. I went with an order French Toast w/a side of sausage, my wife had a bacon waffle. Everything hit the spot, we left satisfied. Generous portions, as always. Our favorite waitress, Terry, was working this morning. She’s a gem — always friendly & attentive. Hash House A Go Go is very consistent. With all the sup-par places to eat in Mohegan Sun, it’s a sure bet that you’ll at least get a decent meal at the Hash House A Go Go.

Very large portions, very fatty and greasy. If your looking for a good hangover meal this is the place to be. Recommend the chicken and waffles, it is very good but VERY heavy. Good luck in finishing, and go with an appetite!

I was between 3 and 4 stars because the food was delicious, but the service was pretty bad. However, I’m giving 4 stars because the manager on duty was apologetic and interested in making things better. Sometimes it’s not about what goes wrong, but whether anyone cares to try to make the experience better. So, speak up if you are having service issues. The chicken and waffles were as delicious as everyone else says. The fried chicken was well-seasoned and well-cooked. Everyone else in my party was happy with their meal too, and there were 12 of us. We went for brunch because breakfast food seems to be what they are consistently good at. Drinks weren’t as big of a hit, so I’d skip cocktails unless you see something that really speaks to you.

I recently went to Hash House for breakfast and was underwhelmed. The fresh squeezed orange juice was miraculous, however, the food was not. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy. Although the biscuits were delightfully fresh, the sausage gravy was flavorless and hindered the meal as a whole. I may return and try a different meal, as the service and atmosphere were great.

If you want flapjacks/pancakes or waffles, then this is the place! Bacon waffles! Stay away from the other breakfast food items though. Upon entering the place you know that you are in for a fun, if excessive, experience. Which is fitting since the restaurant is in a resort casino. I ordered the bacon waffles with a side of vanilla ice cream. My companion had a flapjack. The bacon waffle was pretty great. I expected tiny bacon bits, but they put whole pieces of bacon in the middle of the waffle. I then smothered it in butter, vanilla ice cream, and syrup. Delicious! My companion had the flapjack(pancake). This delectable bohemoth had to be over a foot in diameter, and was at least an inch thick. Three stars are given because for two reasons. The other food items and the behavior of the manager. My meal also came with sausage and eggs, which I ordered scrambled and topped with cheddar cheese. The sausage was completely tasteless. I have never had a sausage so completely lacking in any flavor whatsoever. I even had my companion taste it to verify. The sausage was also a very strange consistency, oddly lacking in mass for a sausage. It sort of fell apart in my mouth. The eggs were equally tasteless, even with the cheese. Especially given the size of the bacon waffle(bacon waffle!!), I would have been fine just ordering that. There was awkward staff interaction too. The manager had an uncomfortable interaction with a staff member right next to our table. The manager then came back again and continued, the manager then started apologizing to the staff member. The staff member stayed silent, but was clearly upset by what had happened. The manager had made some sort of error which had affected the staff member. This sort of thing should not be handled in the middle of the floor, right in front of customers.

This place will make you happy even if you are a person that hates happiness. Tried the sage fried chicken and waffles. A beautiful towering presentation. I never believed chicken breast could be fried and still that moist. My sister had the corn beef and hash. It was served in a huge iron skillet. Real pieces of corn beef… not that meat from a can. All the plates coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Service was attentive. The server bringing out the plates was wearing gloves. You can use the $ 15 voucher the bus gives you. I’m a fan.

I ended up here with some friends after walking around the casino. It was a Saturday nught, so most restaurants were packed or had a long wait. We waited about 40 mins, which wasn’t too bad considering that some other restaurants were a 2 hour waiting or not taking walk-ins. The hostess took our name and phone number and when the table was ready, she sent us a text message. I was debating between the chicken and waffles, chicken and biscuits, and the lemon chicken. The waitress personally preferred the lemon chicken, which is what I decided on ordering. The portion was large. It was half a chicken cut up into quarters. The skin was crispy and the meat was OK. The meal was also served with string beans, mashed potatoes, carrots and gravy. The strings beans were cooked well and looked overcooked compared to my friends’ meals, which also came with string beans. I was confused as to why my string beans were different since our food practically came out at the same time. Perhaps I got the older batch lol. The mashed potatoes were surprising good and had a nice flavor. I liked the carrots as well. One of my friends ordered the chicken and biscuits and he said that the order had very little chicken and was mostly biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy. Although, my friend said that the chicken was bland, he did like the gravy because it had a good taste and made up for the bland chicken.

The good thing about buying a $ 45 bus ticket to Mohegan Sun is that you also receive a $ 15 meal voucher WITH your ticket. So if you’re like us, and you lost your life savings at the slots and/or tables, you can still eat before going home and realizing you are, indeed, broke. With that said, Hash House was listed as one of the places to try with our voucher. I’ve been to Mohegan Sun before but only grabbed quick food and never experienced any of their sit-down restaurants. The bar for this place is what greets you first, followed by bacon bloody Mary’s(they’re called the BLT Mary, they are huge, yes there’s bacon in them, and you can keep the glass). The wait was 15 minutes but they text you when your table is ready so you can return to spending your 401k while you wait. The brunch menu is large and offers something for everyone. Hash mixes, French toast, stuffed burgers(2 patties stuffed with something inside, this ranges from cheese to more meat), salads, etc. After constantly bouncing back and forth between 2 options, I ended up with the chorizo/jalapeño hash over scrambled eggs with a HUGE biscuit on the side. While I enjoyed this, it is a lot of food and it’s very spicy(which I always appreciate). The salmon looked amazing and was tossed over a biscuit(no joke, these biscuits were amazing). The salads looked hefty and filling. The French toast came with 2 huge bananas on top. Prices are fair. With a soft drink and entrée, you can expect to pay around $ 14. You also receive a massive amount of food. The reason I knocked off 1 star was the service. Our waiter would say he was getting our drinks and disappear for 20 minutes, which another waitress actually openly commented on. Also we waited 15 minutes to be seated, however, when we were walking to our table, I counted 5 empty tables waiting to be filled. Not a bad spot to visit if you want something hearty that will keep you full as you inhale second-hand smoke and yell at the machines.

I came here right before Mohegan’s Winefest last weekend, figuring it would give me the padding I needed for 5 straight hours of heavy drinking. I was also somewhat excited after seeing this joint showcased on TV. Much to my dismay, I was disappointed in almost every regard… It started with the hostess, who had the personality of a troll. Could not have been more unpleasant. Then came the food… oh sweet mother of God, the food! My wife ordered the smoked salmon«hash» and I ordered the corned beef«hash». I use quotes because this isn’t hash at all… it’s just some meat piled on top of some soggy red potatoes. Wife’s salmon was over cooked to the point that it tasted like worn out shoe leather, and my corned beef was literally cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted in the slightest! It was clear there just wasn’t any skill and/or effort put into this food. Truly TRULY disappointing! Only reason for the 2 stars is the delicious biscuit that came with my travesty of a dish. May have caught them on a really bad day, but not sure I can give them another shot.
