Went recently with a large group & they were great at accommodating us. The food was all delicious, from the flat breads to the main courses. There was a gnocchi special the night we were there that was delicious! I got the truffle mac & cheese side as my meal & it was more than enough food(and it was outstanding!) so be warned that the sides are generously sized. Everyone was pleased with what they ordered– some fish, lots of gnocchi, and at least one steak on the table, everyone left satisfied & full. My only complaint is that we sat«outside» near the waterfall so it was SUPER loud– between the waterfall & all the people in the casino we could not really hear each other. I’d recommend sitting inside if you get the opportunity.

I have been to this place many times over the years. And it is consistently very good. The service is very attentive. Doesn’t matter if you are a high roller or average gambler, A family, or just dining solo, people are treated the same. The refills on the soda came before we could ask. The flat bread was great and so was the special pasta of the night. The crispy salmon our party has ordered on more than one occasion and it’s just as good as the last time. I have tried most of the restaurants in the casino and this place is always tops for me.

It was a simple question. I asked my husband where he wanted to go to dinner for his birthday. With that, I found myself making reservations at Todd English’s Tuscany, a short 3 hour drive(more like 4 ½ hours thanks to I-95 traffic) from our humble home in New Jersey. Believe me, it was worth the time! First, the ambiance. It is a beautiful place. We sat amidst the waterfalls that night. There were not loud cell phone conversations, no screaming children, just the sound of waterfalls. Next, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable. Dawn was our captain. She knew the menu and actually seemed ready and eager to answer questions. She brought the bread which had a crusty exterior and pillowy soft inside, along with a plate of tapanade alongside a humus. They were, both alone and combined, an excellent compliment to the bread. My husband ordered ½ a Boston Bibb salad as an appetizer. In all the years I’ve known my husband, this is the first time I’ve ever seen him actually finish a salad. I had TE’s Ravioli O’s. It sounded different and it was. Served in a mason jar, it combined flavors I had never considered, like bolognese sauce and pea purée. Two cleaned plates and counting. My husband ordered the seafood bucatini. This was a dangerous move since my family makes a similar dish on Christmas Eve. He is usually not allowed to think anyone’s food is better than what he gets at home. After all, enough of that attitude and he may never get a home cooked meal again. Luckily there were enough differences that he got a pass on this one. Actually, I couldn’t agree with him more. He said the scallops were the single best bite of food he had ever had. He wasn’t joking. Good thing we don’t make scallops on Christmas Eve. I had the crispy skin salmon. They delivered on the crispy skin without overcooking the salmon. The polenta it was served with had the perfect viscosity. With that, we rolled out of Tuscany with smiles on our faces and went on to the evening performance. Later, we realized they had a breakfast buffet! LOL… So we came back in the morning. Not to disappoint, if you like melt-in-your-mouth prime rib, a raw bar, pasta, waffles, crepes, omelettes, and desserts to die for, you will love their brunch buffet. It is unusually expansive and the attention you are given will make you feel like royalty. Tuscany has all of you want in fine dining without the usual fare you have to put up with when you go out. Warning: this is not a $ 20 buffet. If you want mountains of mediocre food for an ant hill price tag, go somewhere else. If you want a dining experience and are willing to pay for it, enjoy Tuscany. I know we did.

Hungry? This is the wrong place to go unless you are ready to spend $ 75-$ 100 per person and have 2 entrees each. Eat like a bird? This is a great place for you. The food is fine, not worth the price however. Like Scallops? $ 8 each. Plate of 3 — $ 24 Want 6? a bargain at $ 44 Ordered linguini and clam sauce. Dish came with like 25 clams still in the shell that each had to be picked out of the shell one at a time. By the time that is done you get(not exaggerating one bit) three forks fulls of linguini — $ 27 Apps were Fried Calamari which was 30% calamari, 70% fried peppers, olives, onions. Also had Mason Jar meatballs. Don’t think real mason jar(big) think Yankee candle Jar. The money this place must make I think would blow my mind. 500−2000% markup on food costs easily! Waiter was very nice! Bread pudding was awesome. We had a second dinner later that night.

We hadn’t eaten here in awhile so decided on giving it another try. Service was outstanding and food was delicious. We went all out and ordered the chef’s antipasto which was more than enough for 3 people. The scallops were fantastic and the carbonara was almost perfect. That’s the tiny complaint is that the pasta was overcooked. Personally I don’t mind it that way at all but it was not al dente by any stretch of the imagination. Our waitress was very attentive. All and all a very good meal. As for what others are saying about the price — yes it is a bit pricey but it is considered one of the high end restaurants. If you didn’t want to spend that much money you should have gone to one of the«casual» restaurants.

The only reason why I am not giving it 1 star is because we had a great dinner. Why I can’t understand is why our waitress had to be so rude. 7 of us adults, our bill was 400. We were never even offfered the opportunity to see a desert menu which by the way we were all looking forward to. Very disappointing experience. With so many options at Mohegan it is hard to imagine throwing another 400 dollars there.

I am rating this 5 stars for their brunch only — I have never been in for dinner. This place throws a brunch like Las Vegas mega hotels and casinos do. Splurge and come hungry. The food is extensive and op quality, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is unique. The restaurant is centrally located in the casino and as you approach it you will see a beautiful glass statue and a waterfall. There is a bar just in front of the waterfall that is fun to stop and have a drink at anytime during the day or night. The restaurant itself is inside the waterfall.

Came here for dinner before we went to a concert in the arena. If the show is at 7:30, plan for a 5 – 5:25 arrival for dinner. Despite hour early-bird time for dinner, the service was a bit slow and I felt the server had too many tables. He, and the staff were delightful and friendly. Food! The boys agreed the calamari starter was the best they ever had. We also got a chef plate with cheese and meats. Yum. Tablemate got the special Osso Bucco and it was a huge fred flintstone portion on the bone! Sadly, we could not take the leftovers into the arena and had to leave it there. Steaks were fantastic. Veal Milanese was also huge and delish. Wine list has great selection and has approx 3−4x markup from the price I pay at trader joes. I’d give 5 stars but service was erratic and rushed.

Visited last Saturday we were a party of 10. There was some confusion among the waitstaff as to who’s table we were so slow getting drink’s and apps going. We had 5 bottles of the Super Tuscan $ 48 per bottle, nice wine. The table antipasti for $ 60 was decent thought they could have made a better presentation and some of the meats seemed like deli meat. I had the zuppa de pesce and enjoyed it seafood was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is hoping and lively and I would certainly go again. If your looking for something more romantic try Ballo it is about the same price point with more attention to detail.

I have had dinner here with friends a few times. I have been holding back writing this review because I feel blasphemous saying it, but it was only alright. I was really expecting pretty good at the very least. The food was kind of uninspired and pretty bland. I have had better Italian at smaller places, for much less. It is fun to sit near the waterfall, although it is also a little bit chilly. Other than that, I hate to say it, but I would pass. There are so many other great places in Mohegan to grab some food.

Now I admit there for me was a little issue of service time of dessert but however the getting in early & arrival of the entrée & espresso made up for this so due to that I’ll let it go. Let’s sum up the meal; I had a ricotta gonnochi for the meal with a sausage ragu & fresh black pepper & parmesan cheese & though the heat wasn’t as I thought it was it worked in the end & fortunately for me I had bread to put the ragu onto to eat the sauce. Had a expresso & chocolate cake w/raspberry & mint topping plus ice cream & was in a hot layer of sauce so that was worth it for the wait. prices can be high but the timing can be the trick of this so all in all the call here is understandable.

Had to come exchange some Christmas gifts At Brookstone and my daughter and I stopped here. The hostess greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. Daniel poured us waters almost instantly. Doug was a fantastic waiter, making sure we had everything we could possible want. Heather brought our food out with a warm smile. Ahhhh, good service makes such a difference! We shared the chef’s choice antipasto… The fig could of been a little sweeter but I’m a adult… I don’t have to love everything on the plate. The sharp, intense cheese was my favorite. We also shared the shrimp flatbread and the pasta with scallops, shrimp, & clams. The pasta dish was perfectly prepared, exactly what I was hoping for!

For the price we paid, I was expecting far more than I received. To say I was underwhelmed would be generous. Excruciatingly loud, slow and priced this beautifully decorated and situated restaurant falls flat of its potential. With all of the options available at the casino, my only advice is save your money and head elsewhere. My salad, mason jar meatball app, and flatbread were standard but marked up six times what they should have been. My lemon drop cocktail had to be returned twice as it was made incorrectly and I just gave up. Service was so slow we it took over 20 minutes to get water. I can ramble on about it, but it was a total let down. The only saving grace is the reservation was set properly and we had little to no wait at all.

Mediocre at best and not worth the high price tag. They set us in a dark corner even though there was ample seating in the nicer areas. We felt like second class citizens. There was a hair in my husbands water. The cocktails were good. The wine list was great. I recommend the Chalk Hill Chardonnay. The food is good. I highly recommend the mason jar meatballs. The chefs tasting was also very good. Our server was good. Elsa was competent but the food was rushed out at a blinding pace. Not the type of service you should have with a $ 60 chefs tasting meal. More like service you would find at Applebee’s. We have been here before but probably will not be back.

My husband and I wanted a nice italian meal. I ordered the small antipasto and he orderd the salmon. Here are 2 pictures of what we got. The antipasto looked like a plate full of slop! Poorly sliced and mushed meats, the cippolini were sour, the fig jam was on top of the grain mustard and it was lousy. Big chunks of cheese, unevently sliced and just thrown in the plate. The paper thin salmon filet was grilled then put in some sort of bean broth. Service was impeccible and the ambiance is lovely.

Todd English’s Tuscany was A-OK, which is slightly disappointing since I was expecting a lot more from a place with a celebrity chef’s name placed on it. My girlfriend and I were seated in the«outdoor» section right near the waterfall, which at first seemed like a cool idea until I realized that meant that I had to see everyone walking around the casino and the noise level was loud given the hundreds of people walking past every minute. Next time I’d definitely eat in the«indoor» section which I’d assume is quieter. We shared the Chef’s Antipasto since we are a big fan of tapas-style food. The mix of meats, cheeses, vegetables, and everything else was pretty good, albeit nothing special. Our mistake was each ordering our own separate dinners to go along with the antipasto; there was a lot to eat which resulted in a lot of leftover food which we weren’t going to carry around the rest of the night. Since it has the name of a celebrity chef on it, the place is more expensive than it needs to be, and overall it wasn’t the best or worst thing I’ve had at Mohegan, but it was certainly the most expensive.

Really underwhelmed for what it costs. My hanger steak was terribly cooked. Wife’s «flatbread» was just terrible. Service not great. Wine list was decent and fairly priced. Would never go back.

Had a wonderful dinner today, here are my quick comments: — Our server Mike was on the ball, well done. I needed my food at certain time and he made it happen. — My arugula salad with burrata cheese was awesome, great tomatoes too. — My chicken Parm was very different and awesome, well done. Loved it. — Lamb chop was also great. The veggies were not good, over cooked. — Place is clean, neat, friendly and the service is great. All in all is great. Nice job.

I have enjoyed an incredibly delicious chef’s tasting menu here a few times, but I have also had a few dinners that were not so great. Service here is also very inconsistent and ranges from great to just plain rotten. I would try again if I were at the casino, but I wouldn’t drive or go out of my way to go there on purpose. Kind of sad as I was one of the first regular diners at Todd English’s Olive’s many years ago. Now that was a restaurant! In the spirit of the good old days I averaged out the stars between the good and not so good experiences. Overall, it;s just A-OK.
