Pretty Good. The bread with Blue Cheese sauce was crazy good, I had the filet and that was fine not out of this world but fine. :) Fairly good wine, but i am not down with the place itself. Way to many TV’s, Just feels like it could use a few less. I felt like I was sitting in a video game.

Been here a few times and each time has been a wonderful experience. The steaks are top notch and have always come out cooked to perfection. Get the Mac n Cheese or mashed potatoes — definitely worth it! Great wine selection and their appetizers are delicious. Open late which is always a plus. Good for an intimate date or family dinner, or for a rowdy birthday celebration, and anything in between. Centrally located in the casino.

My wife and I have visited this place many times and usually get a great meal. We always start out with the blue cheese garlic bread! Awesome! My wife had the lump crab cake, which she said was excellent. I had the heirloom tomato salad. Eh… I was just ok. Would not get it again. The porterhouse for 2 is always excellent cooked to the correct temperature. The sides fell a bit short. We opted for the cream of spinach, that was more like soup with a baked top not very flavorful. We also ordered the 1 pound baked potato. Also just blah! Over all it was a good meal. Would we go back? Yes! We will make alternate choices on my salad and pick different sides. Enjoy the picks I provided.

Had a meal here with some friends and everything was very good. My aged Delmonico was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Only reason its not five stars is because one of the other steaks was a little bit too tough. Service was good though drinks took a little long at first for the amount of people in the restaurant. Overall I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a high end steak house or if someone is going to the casino already.

Came here before a concert this past weekend. The 4 of us all had great steak! My filet was perfectly done. The crab cake and blue cheese garlic bread were outstanding. We didn’t try the lobster mashed potatoes but it sounds great! . We will be back

I know that this place is pricey and will not please everyone but this is my opinion on my first experience here. It is my top 3 of meals and experiences I ever had at a restaurant. The service was phenomenal, Brian our waiter was excellent with great recommendations and pleasant manors. The food from appetizers to dessert were perfect and delicious. Party of 4 adults 2 children Drinks– Pear Martinis, white zin with strawberries to start and Cabernets with our meal. Oysters fresh and clean dozen and A half. The bacon appetizer was amazing! The crab cake(all crab meat, no fillers) best I ever had. Medium rare steaks cooked to perfection We had 2 Kansas City strip on the bone and 2 fillets. All perfection and delicious. For dessert we had the créme brûlée and the Baked Alaska omg the Baked Alaska. Nutty Irishmen coffees for the adults. The kids had chicken breast and mashed potatoes. Kids loved it not to mention my steak lol. I don’t write many reviews but I can tell you this was worth it. Here’s hoping all your meals were as good as this was for us. Not one person disappointed.

Our first time in CT chose this steakhouse for dinner on a Saturday night. Had a few bumps and left 3 stars in my review. Their Manager read it & immediately offered to allow her the opportunity to give us a great experience. I responded & happened to be in CT the following weekend. She offered a gift certificate to use at any of their 3 restaurants that weekend. We jumped at the offer & as busy as they were we had a great experience. The staff was very accommodating since we arrived without a reservation. We were seated immediately & ordered our food right away. The food was delicious with an attractive presentation. I definitely recommend you try Michael Jordan’s restaurant while at the Mohegan it won’t disappoint. Thank you Shani L Kane for making our special weekend even more memorable.

10 of us ate here last night. Place is extremely busy and the wait was about 2 hours. Once our time was here we were seated. Service was great place was very elegant and lights were dim. Now the food rib eye steak, $ 57 and it was well worth it. Cooked on point medium. The sides were mashed potatoes and got the meat balls. All very good. Chopped salad was not my fav as it was drenched in dressing. Overall great experience.

I was extremely impressed with this place. A bunch of us were here around the same time last year to celebrate a buddy’s birthday. There were 10 of us altogether. First, we ordered appetizers to share, which included a few orders of that amazing garlic bread. For entrees, my boyfriend and I had the porterhouse for two. It was such a great steak. Thinking about it makes my mouthwater. Being a steakhouse we felt obligated to get a steak, but honestly whenever I go out to eat I hate ordering a steak. It is a seemingly easy thing to make, but the probability of it being not cooked correctly or tasting funny is always somehow high. Then I always get so mad at myself for paying so much money for something I could have done better at home. So saying a steak was great means a lot coming from me, and is the main push for my 5 stars. After our entrees, despite being full we HAD to order dessert. I had never had the opportunity to order a Baked Alaska, so I was not about to pass that up this night, full or not. It was good as well, and a marvel to stare at. I feel so foolish not taking a picture of it before diving in. Guess it will just have to be something you check out for yourself! The service was fantastic and we all left extremely happy. It is pricey, but with the great food and experience I thought it was worth it.

Always a homerun! Jordan’s never fails to knock it out of the park. Blue Cheese Fondue is to die for and their seafood choices are fresh. Try the corn off the cob great taste. Overtime we visit Mohegan Sun we always dine here for a reason, it’s the best on site!

Michaels Jordan’s Steakhouse is definitely one of the top steakhouses I’ve been to. I decided to go the casino for the night with my girlfriend and wanted to make it a special night by having a nice dinner so decided to dine at MJ’s. Before moving on to the rest of the review, I’d like to highlight what we ate. Appetizers: –Colossal Crab Meat Cocktail(crab cake) — 5 stars –Garlic Bread w/Blue Cheese Fondue — 4 stars Main: –MJ’s USDA Prime Delmonico 16 oz. w/a pan roasted Lobster Tail — 4 stars Sides: –Sautéed Spinach w/roasted garlic –Macaroni & Cheese The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the crab cake. It was absolutely delicious and I always suggest it to anyone who hasn’t been there and will continue to do so. There’s no fillers at all in this crab cake unlike many others that have breadcrumbs, peppers, celery, etc. The dish as a whole, definitely lives up to the title when they say«colossal». There were no small pieces of crab meat in this dish. The garlic bread was good, however, the blue cheese fondue may be overwhelming for some(I personally like it). As for our entrees, the steaks were delicious and cooked really well. This particular Delmonico steak didn’t have a bone unlike other places I’ve been to but it was still good. However, it’s not the best steak I ever had. The lobster tail was good and cooked perfectly. I was slightly disappointed by our side dish selection. I was expecting the man n’ cheese to be amazing and it fell way short of my expectations. It had a smokey flavor to it which I didn’t particularly like which surprised me because I tend to like smoked foods/flavors. The creamed spinach was really good but it wasn’t your traditional creamed spinach. It was topped with panko style bread crumbs which sorta gave it a weird texture but I would order the creamed spinach again. Putting the food aside, the atmosphere and service were great. Overall, I would suggest Michael Jordan’s steakhouse to anyone and don’t forget to order the crab cake.

MJs is an upscale steakhouse comparable to a Del Frisco’s or Capital Grille. In the flashy and loud atmosphere of Mohegan Sun, this restaurant is a welcomed quiet retreat. The restaurant is dark and comfortable, the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal or drink at the bar. The prices reflect the very high quality. Expect to spend $ 40-$ 60 for a steak, and an additional $ 8 – 10 per side. Dinner and drinks will usually run you about $ 100 per person total. But the food is well worth it, and the staff is expertly trained to provide a very thoughtful experience.

This is a high end steakhouse. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is top notch. I went to this establishment for my 23rd birthday and ordered the Bone-in Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and the seasoning they used on the steak was amazing, no steak sauce needed! My girlfriend ordered the free-range chicken and she also said her dinner was delicious. Our dinner was expensive but this high quality steakhouse is worth paying for.

I don’t typically visit places in this price range but was definitely pleased with my visit. My husband & I really enjoyed our steaks. And I mean really enjoyed. It has to be in the top steaks we’ve eaten in our life. Thanks to Unilocal,we tried the fondue & liked it but found it overhyped. Their cocktail skills were fabulous but their service forgettable. I couldn’t not tell you what our server’s name was or where he went half the time. But again, I’m pretty sure almost everyone were there for the steaks so that’s all that matters. Overall, if we have the money to spend or a celebration to have, this is a place to be.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. And the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. So for this alone, I’ve got to give a great rating and recommendation. One warning: It’s expensive and management is greedy. For example, they won’t let you order a burger in the dining room — only at the bar — so they can fleece every last penny out of that floor space. And they annoyingly try to upsell the heck out of you.(I expect this at a Ruby Tuesday’s but not at a place like this.) And though I’m ok with obscene prices for great food, the wine and beer prices are downright obnoxious. Read through some of the other reviews and you’ll see other cases of greed. But outside of this, I’ve got to give MJ’s major respect for its steaks.
