Not quality food at all. I have tried this restaurant a few times. While the service was OK, the food wasn’t great. Brown, mushy bananas served on the top of my breakfast. Yuck.

Great food and the coffee is delicious!!! Highly recommend coming here for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Some of the best food in the area and the friendliest staff. I had the smakosh benadict. Very yummy! Fruit bowl was freshly sliced and very generous.

The Peach/Mango Crepes are fantastic, but if you are in the mood for something savory, the Potato Pancakes with Smoked Salmon will not disappoint.

Great food! I usaully get the potato pancakes(3) with apple sauce and/or sour cream, my boyfriend gets the seafood omelet which is always fluffy and full. Prices are resonable for amount of food you get. They only accept cash with an atm on site. The staff are always friendly and polite. And you can seat yourself. Try it out!

Went here for breakfast this morning with two other people. Crepes with a light fluffy filling was featured on the menu. I ordered the crepes with blueberry topping. The waitress asked if I would like whipped cream on top, and I said yes. When the food came the crepes were flat and full of what tasted like ricotta cheese. The filling was not fluffy or light at all, it was quite dense and bland. In addition to that, the whipped cream that the waitress asked me about was absent. When she came over to check on us, I told her that my food was not good at all. That the filling did not taste how a crêpe should taste and that I was not satisfied. She did not say anything along the lines of «I’m sorry to hear that», but instead informed me in a rather rude tone that it was just how they made the crepes here.(This is the second time I have had this woman as my waitress at Smakosh, and the second time she has had a miserable, rude tone while serving us.) We asked for a refill on a cup of coffee which never came, and we were never given extra napkins. We were still charged for the mostly untouched, disgusting crepes. Disappointed in the food, disappointed in the poort service. Needless to say, we will not be back.

I went to have breakfast here this morning, and was not disappointed! The service is very attentive, restaurant is quiet and food was EXCELLENT! I had my favorite breakfast, eggs Benedict, and I always order my eggs poached well. A lot of restaurants do not accommodate ‘eggs poached well’. My breakfast was yummy. Coffee was good. I feel good to say there is another restaurant nearby that I will frequent!

I had high expectations for this restaurant after reading the reviews as I thought all of the food was very underseasoned. I ordered potato pancakes, pierogies, and kielbasa and had the opportunity to try the omelette special(it had bacon, cheddar, and sun dried tomatoes and had the most flavor out of all the things I had), and home fries. The food was acceptable, just a bit bland for my tastes.

Three words… Stuffed French Toast! Awesome omelletts, kielbasa, potato latkas and hot coffee perks you right up. A little pricey, but well worth it. Gets very busy on the weekends. Owners are very friendly!

Good service, friendly people and homemade perogis. If you like perogis with real mashed potatos this place is a must.

If you are traveling to/from Mohegan Sun… or if you are staying there but have access to a car — leave the overpriced low quality breakfast options behind and travel a short distance down route 32 for Smakosh. It’s not gastronomic nirvana… but it is simple, delicious, honest food cooked and served by a Polish family. Service is usually quick and friendly, and you’re likely to have a great conversation with your server. Food is well priced for those of us on a budget and the coffee never stops flowing. Their recommendations as well as their daily specials are great if you have trouble choosing. It’s not all Polish fare, but of what is — is good. Don’t be scared off by it though — great American classics are served here.

I happened upon this restaurant by accident, was in town for work. The server, perhaps also the owner, was very friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was tasty. I saw the potato pancakes served with applesauce and sour cream, they looked tasty. I had the potato perogies served with sauerkraut and kielbasa. the perogies were served with onions and were noted as homemade. i thought they hit the spot after i added a little salt. this meal was $ 10, decently priced. I saw other diners order breakfast items and saw a few cheeseburgers come through the dining room. it’s a great spot if you’re in the area! here are a few other reviews,
