We’ve been to this location three times. Each time they have gotten our order wrong. Every. Time. I’m not too picky, so no big deal. But, when you specifically ask for no cheese, no onions, etc. there’s usually a reason for it. On the third trip here we confirmed, twice, that these requests were indeed noted and correct. Apparently, their comprehension of no cheese and no onions are different than ours and today we received toppings on our burgers that aren’t even on the menu. Two tons of mustard, pickles and onions… gross. After wiping away the ton of mustard from the bun, we tried to make it work. Now for the very gross part: As she was eating her fries, my daughter noticed a very gross type of hair inside the fry container. See the pic below and use your own judgement on what kind of hair it could be… Yuck. Needless to say, we were instantly finished with our barely eaten lunch, and finished with this location. I’ll wait to contact the manager tomorrow(Monday). If the folks who are working there today cannot even make their burgers per the menu standards, I’m not going to try and discuss the hair issue with anyone there today. Will update this review after that.

Most of the staff are fairly young but, super friendly. Restaurant was clean and the service was quick! Burgers were delish!

When the burgers arrived I was disappointed. When I see«steak burger» I am expecting something meatier – the burgers are incredibly thin. However, I was surprised that they were fairly good with decent flavor considering how thin they were. Not a great hamburger(or steak burger) by any means, but not bad. My sons liked the hot dogs and chicken tenders as well. The custard and good kids meals was more of the reason for the four rating.

This place was interesting. First time having a steak burger. The meat is flat and kinda fried. Loved the shoe string fries and dipping sauce. Curious about the frozen custard …next trip I’ll try it. I’ll give this 3 out of 5 forks.

We come for the hot fudge malt — still pricy, $ 0.70 for a squirt of flavoring. Pepsi products. String fries are good. Two of us ate and it was almost $ 20.00.

Okay, okay, okay… what is all the fuss? I don’t get it! If you like crêpe burgers and fries as thin as a toothpick then this is the place for you. I don’t know why this place is still in business. Who enjoys eating a burger you can see through? I mean come on, «where’s the beef»? I allowed for two stars only because they are fast and because they have good concretes(ice cream with mix-ins). If you want a true burger, go some place else.

This is a typical American hamburger joint, but the food is inexpensive and pretty good. The service is also pretty good and if you are looking for something fast then this is your place. If your are looking for something more upscale then I wouldn’t chose this place, but it is a good place to bring the family or for a quick stop.

Great burger tasting burger. Get at least a double as the patties are smashed and very thin. Speaking of thin, the fries are too. Both taste great! The buns are soft and butter toasted. Standard comes with mayo, mustard, and pickles(sliced lengthways like stackers). Put some of their special seasoning on your fries(red robin like). Dip them in Freddie’s Sauce(Big Mac sauce like). Friendly and efficient staff. A great place.

I’ve only been here 4 times late in the evening, around 8:30−9PM. The food is always satisfying, but I’m not sure if it’s the food that tastes amazing, or if it’s the exacerbated starvation contributing to an artificial taste that I encounter while waiting in the drive-thru for a simple value meal with only 2 cars in front of me. I don’t recall ever getting out of the drive thru in less than 10 minutes. They are currently 1 for 4 in order accuracy when ordering a #1 with ketchup, mustard, onions, french-fries, and a Coke. The staff is young, but they are always courteous and polite. Most recently I revived a patty melt with onion rings(they were actually delicious), but I hate patty melts. I’ll call it a wash. Tip: the free combo meal cards for order errors don’t suffice when the errors aren’t corrected. Also, your next supervisor/manager should have experience and proven results in driving some type of process oriented initiatives or competently demonstrate the skill.

The frozen custards are so freaking good. They’re creamy and don’t get watery when they melt. My favorite is the mini chocolate concrete with almonds, Oreo cookies, and marshmallow sauce mixed in and on top. Can’t be beat! My boyfriend takes me here all the time as a pick me up or just because.

Stopped by the Monument CO Freddy’s, a place we have enjoyed several times. After waiting a very long time for food and getting home, found there was no bread on top of the California double burgers and the French fries were stone cold. This was a very disappointing experience!

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is located in a big shopping complex on the east side of I-25, north of Baptist Road. The interior kind of reminded me of In-N-Out, mostly white with red table tops and red vinyl chairs. The patties here are thin and cooked crisp — you need two of them to equal the thickness of a Burger King Whopper. The taste is quite good. The basic Double has pickle slices, onion and mustard. If you want lettuce and tomato you have to order«California Style.» Their fries are sliced very thin and come out quite crisp. I liked them a lot. My #1 combo(Double Cheese, fries and medium drink) came to $ 7.77 including tax. This is THE place to get a burger in Monument, Colorado.

Very tasty burgers and fries, but the patties are like slices of bologna and the fries are so small you have to eat ten at a time to enjoy them. Can you say pipsqueak patty?

This may be my shortest review ever! The Frozen custard here is outstanding. Tonight I had the Mint n’ Oreo, which just so happens to be the featured Concrete. Holy vow was it good! The service was friendly and offered to answer any questions. The manager did a walk around and asked how we were enjoying our custard. Great taste… I guess I’ll have to come back to try something from the rest of the menu at some point. If you are up this way stop here for a quick treat!

I thought the burger patty was too thin and prices were high. It was not bad just so so. The fries and shakes were good and I enjoyed them. However, given a choice I would go to Drifters or Carl’s for a better burger value.

This place is really good! If you like places like Steak N Shake but don’t want to drive to Colorado Springs then this is a good alternative. A little pricey for fast food but you will be full! I recommend the bacon cheese stack(I think that’s the name) with chili cheese fries. They remind me of that cheap nacho cheese from baseball stadiums which is actually a good thing to me! Why not 4 stars? Besides the prices, the wait is usually pretty long. They cook everything to order so I understand why, just definitely give yourself some time. Delicious!

I have been here three times with friends. The burgers are made to order. I had the double patty burger each time. The patties are very thin. The French fries are like shoe strings but a little bigger but they are great with the fry sauce. I have had better burgers which is why I am giving it three stars. I haven’t tried the frozen yogurt yet.

Freddy’s has taken Monument by storm! It opened about a week ago and I haven’t seen a time that it isn’t packed to the rafters. I finally made it yesterday and after reading many a stoked review from the Unilocalers in Denver, about their Freddy’s. Thankfully a friend beat me there so I was able to cut in line. Just a heads up, lunch time is more than likely always going to be slammed due to the Lewis-Palmer High School kids. Walking in I assumed that the menu would consist of burgers and custard. Well I was wrong, I was busy talking to my friend when I finally looked up at the menu board. This might have been the largest menu I’ve seen. There are all sorts of burgers, sizes of burgers, sides, hotdogs, etc. etc. etc. Thankfully I was broke so I stuck to a single patty«California Burger»; i.e. a wannabe In-N-Out burger, and a regular/small fries. The burger alone was $ 3.59! So… Hmm… The burger was ok. I would definitely recommend getting a double patty burger at a minimum as the patties are so thin that I honestly really couldn’t taste any meat as I scarfed down my burger. And for $ 3.59 I’d really like to taste beef. Who the hell invented«shoestring fries». I mean that doesn’t even sound appetizing, which of course is fitting to shoestring fries. Freddy’s does season them really nicely and they have a nice crunch, but you pretty much have to eat a handful at a time to even realize that you’re consuming them. It’s a bummer really because if Freddy’s actually had adult sized fries that tasted as good I would be ok with auditioning for Biggest Loser by the end of the year. Bottom line: Freddy’s has probably the best fast food burger here in Monument, but it is basically just like SmashBurger or Culver’s. Just be ready to pay $ 7+ for a combo. For just a little bit more I might as well goto Chili’s in the same shopping complex and get a huge burger with non-kiddie fries and table service.
