At my mother’s recommendation, I have used Moorestown Tailors a couple of times for some alterations, including one rather complicated alteration for my husband. He bought a kilt in Scotland, and subsequently lost a significant amount of weight. Not wanting his kilt to got to waste,(and not knowing when we’d have a chance to get back to Scotland to get a new one), we sought out Rich at Moorestown Tailors to work his magic. I personally know nothing about sewing, tailoring, and the like, but Rich really took his time, examining the piece and seeing how it was worn before determining that yes, he could make the alterations. A week later, the kilt was ready, and fit my husband perfectly. Rich’s craftsmanship was quite professional, and one would never know that an alteration was made. My husband was quite happy to be able to wear his kilt to our friends’ Super Bowl party, and was quite the hit! At the same time, I had one of my favorite dresses taken in after losing a bit of weight myself. I finally just got around to wearing the dress yesterday(alterations were made back in February) and it looks great. The dress fits perfectly, and again, one would never know that it was ever altered. I don’t have clothes altered too often, but when I do, I only go to Moorestown Tailors.
