We truly enjoy Panda Express food. For the most part they serve tasty, fresh entrees. Lately, however, the quantity they used to serve us has been decreasing to the point where last week, the worker helping us scraped off some of the food to decrease the amount. We have been going to the Moorpark and Simi Valley locations three times a month for the past three years and never have we been disappointed until recently. I am not sure we will be back anytime soon.

While visiting my parents, my hubs and I decided to pick up take out from PE. The store is conveniently off the 23 freeway in the Target shopping center. It’s located between Natural Café and Del Taco. My hubs and I split a 3-entrée meal with half and half of the fried rice and chow mien, along with honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken and beijin beef. It was our first time getting the shrimp and wish we got more. The shrimp had some crunch, even though it was slathered in the honey glaze and had an even coat of breading which was perfect. I’m not sure if it was the hot sauce I put on my rice/chow mien but the orange chicken did seem to have a kick of its own, which I absolutely LOVED! The beijin beef was crispy and delicious with the small pieces of red bell pepper. My parents got the orange chicken and kung pao chicken, which tasted a bit overcooked. Overall, the store looked clean, the staff were very quick and the food was stocked.

Holy hot!!! I have never been to a panda express that served me orange chicken that was so spicy in my entire life. I felt like i was playing dragon ball Z and I was goku or something! Other then that, the lady there served us and cashed us out in under 5 minutes. Great work by her!

It’s difficult to rate. When I go and there is 45 minutes til closing, I should be able to choose what I want, but no, they have prepacked meals to save cost. So them I leave. Or show up 45 minutes before closing and a sign on the door made on Notepad says«Closing at 8:40 in observance of the holiday weekend.» It is Labor Day tomorrow, real big deal apparently. 8:40, a nice rounded off time to lock your doors. Outside of these self induced scheduling conflicts, the people that work there themselves are nice.

Thank you Pandarians. You made the experience worth the visit. The workers are busy bees and were nice. Thanks for bringing my Cream Cheese Rangoons to me! However the new Sufrin’ Shrimp meal that comes with overcooked chewy meat and fishy tasting shrimp was no bueno. I miss my peppercorn Shrimp. Also the Eggplant Tofu seemed a bit undercooked too. Big Panda sit many people. There are lots of seats inside and out.

I used to be a fan of Panda Express when I worked in Northridge. The Moorpark franchise is really sub par in my opinion. It is really a shame that one can not count on consitancy with a franchised business. After all that is what one is supposed to be able to do. Every time I eat there I swear its the last time, however after my trip their yesterday I am done. The veggie spring rolls are so different then I have had from Panda Express in the past, not only had they been over cooked BUT the ingrediants on the inside, wll it was mostly just some cabbage of some hard leafed vegetable. In fact I only ate the outside and left the innards. The rice is supposed to have scrambled eggs in it. At least at the Panda I used to go to. There were literally egg specks in the rice, not a viable piece of egg in either my food or hubbys food. I have probably eaten here several dozen times, this time really was my very last.

I come here just about everyday for lunch because A. it’s pretty darn good and B. it’s close to my work. I’m writing a review now, because I am getting sick of it. The fortune’s from my cookie’s are piling up in my desk drawer. So for the review, the food is pretty standard panda express. The lines are quick through the drive through and the service is good. Nice people at the drive through. Good stuff!

A usual lunch stop for me during work and always have had consistent and quality food. The staff is always smiling and upselling egg rolls or soup. Never have had a disappointing experience.
