Days Inn Morehead

Our original hotel reservations were messed up and we came here. Opened the door to a pee stained mattress up against the wall and the rest of the room torn apart. We immediately went back to the desk and ask for a refund. This must be a Meth Hotel.

We were forced to stay here when we made a last minute trip to this town but all the other hotels in town were booked due to a baseball tournament in town. I’m honestly surprised we didn’t get bed bugs or scabies from this place. It was awful. The whole frickin’ place was gross. It was plainly evident that not a single dime has been spent on it’s upkeep. Even the front desk lady made a comment about how the Indian guy who owns the place is a cheapskate who won’t spend any money on improving the place. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere. I’d sleep in my car before staying here again.

The Holiday Inn Express next door was booked so i stopped in here. Room was stinky, dirty, and there were people hanging out in front of my room/​door. The parking space directly in front of my room was taken up by visitors of the people hanging out in front of my door :(. Bathroom floor had a film on it and was clearly dirty (floor sort of caving in with visible dirt and some kind of reddish stain-​gross). Cobwebs by the bed and in the window. Pennies on the floor just next to the bed. Walls dirty with the wall paper split and stained in some places. Lamp shades all yellow/​brown :(This poor room was sad all over the place.
With all the above i called and asked if i could return the key and find other arrangements and they did oblige with no charge (Thank you!!). I don’t think i would have gotten a wink of sleep in this place.
Ended up checking into Quality Inn across the street which was definitely an improvement but next time i will be sticking to Holiday Inn or looking for a La Quinta.

one word… DO NOT STAY HERE!
The worst hotel room we have ever seen. They claimed it was non smoking room but the god awful smell was unbearable. The carpets and chairs were very stained and sticky. The bathroom light didnt work.
We had to leave it was so bad. If I could give it zero stars I would
