its a pretty good place to go if u want to study or grab something b 4 class. my classmates have met here to study and its great bc its across from the college. the only complaint i have is its too small… i wish it had more room so more of us can study and drink coffee, ya they have a outdoor setting but sometimes its too hot, windy or cold.

I LOVE this place… it’s the perfect place to go when I need to write my paper, get away from my family, read a book and get a good cup of coffee. The employees there are nice and kind.

After meeting with some folks down the street from this place, I opted to study here versus driving home and studying at a closer It’s a Grind. This location, in a plaza next to Cold Stone’s, Panda Express, Blockbuster, and Jack in the Box, gave a variety of options to possibly eat dinner at. Too bad I already stuffed myself before coming here, or I’d eaten some Chinese grease. As I walked into this Halloween-decorated venue and stood at the counter perusing the menu, I was not greeted by either two of the workers, one of which was making a drink. «Weird,» I thought as one of the workers finally came up to me and just stood there waiting for me to order without saying anything. Perhaps they just had a long day, but it was only 6pm(and this place closes at 10pm). I ordered a regular Black Iced Tea, easy on the ice, and sat down on a comfy couch to study my little heart away(free Wifi of course). After studying for hours there, I realized the place wasn’t cold. To me that is really weird, since most coffee houses are pretty cold(in hopes to make you go buy a drink and keep warm). It’s good, but not good when I’m starting to sweat a little, and I’m not even wearing a jacket or with a hot drink. So props to free wifi and nice venue, but boo to the service and temperature of the place.

one day i decided to use a coupon i’d been holding onto, good for a 16oz white chocolate mocha for $ 1. DELICIOUS! a place that accepts coupons without the customer feeling cheap gets 5 stars in my Unilocal

I love Its a Grind. I was first introduced to it when I worked in Cypress, when I could not find a Starbucks. The ambiance is sort of like Starbucks, but a lot better and the coffee is delicious. My favorite drink used to be Vanilla Lattes. They are yummy. My palate has since graduated to regular coffee(with vanilla flavoring) and I love their colombian, french roast, and high octane brews. Their bagels with cream cheese(they actually slather it on its not just a packet) are delicious. If you’re lucky, they’ll have a sun-dried tomato bagel available. For those of you with a sweet tooth, you’ll love any of their desserts(crème brûlée bars, heavenly bars, cheesecake, chocolate dipped biscotti). I’ve tried them all. I was so excited when two of these coffee shops opened up in Rancho Cucamonga, and one in Riverside. It allowed for many options in the IE to get my favorite cup of my joe. Now, there’s only one in Rancho(Henry’s marketplace) and none in Riverside(now a Jazz n Java). Sadly, I will admit that I regularly cheat on my favorite coffee house due to my need for a caffeine fix. And yes most of the time, that«sancho» is Starbucks. dun-dun-duuun.

i really appreciate this place for the free WiFi. the inside is a little small, and there was no where for me to use my computer, but it was lunch time, and people were just chillin in there… There were regular chairs, and comfy arm chairs too, pretty cool décor inside. Its more inviting than starbucks for sure. staff was also really friendly, though didnt really interact with them much… i had a regular vanilla latte. It was pretty good, and their crumb cakes looked good too, but decided against trying it(looked really sweet).

Update: So I don’t do well with caffeine, and to my happy taste buds, they can create those popular drinks WITHOUT the coffee. Yum. Like: Chocolate Peppermint Bark and the White Chocolate(with coffee it’s called White Chocolate Mocha). And, I had to, but I FELLINLOVE with the Soy Hot Chocolate. It helps me sleep at night. MMmmM… Four stars for simply expanding to far away places like Moreno Valley. It’s A Grind franchises originated in Long Beach and to stumble across one out in the middle of mountains, it makes me feel, well, not so far away from LA County. Like other It’s A Grind coffee houses I have been to, this one has cashiers and baristas who have genuine characters and do not talk it up for the sake of getting a tip. And seeing an Its A Grind in a random county is far better than seeing a Starbucks are every corner, in the hands of every pre-teen and teen. They never forget my name… or is at least willing to know it. And, like all Its A Grind locations, FREE Wi-fi! Yay! Although the same ingredients, I do believe the Soy Chai Latte here was served to me with a little less love than the one in Long Beach. Still, I love my Soy Chai Latte! I think these place is still getting recognized by the locals. One woman walked inside and ordered a Frappacino. When she was informed that they don’t sell Frappaccinos, but they do sell blended drinks, she said, «How can you NOT sell Frappacinos?» The guy behind the counter said, «Because we’re not Starbucks.» The lady said, «Nevermind» and walked away. I looked at the guy and shrugged. Oh, local flavors…
