My son has been coming here for almost two years now. We switched from another school because they closed down. We started with the two week trial(really cheap plus free unifrom) and after two weeks signed the contract.(Pretty standard for this type of extra circular activity). This school is more disciplined then our previous school but I LOVE that about them. The Barker Family is fair, respectful and truly do believe that all children deserve their time and attention so long as the child is responsible and respectful in return. Studio is clean, well organized and they often have events for the students and allow parents a chance to have a fun night out on them.

Went on Tuesday and signed up my 8 year old son… he loves it! It was very nice for my husband and I because eight years ago our daughter trained there for about a year and they remembered all of us. Nice too see the same faces from back when they opened in 2007!

A few days ago my sister went to this location to sign my niece up for classes. They offered her a «introductory 2 week training course.» This course also included a uniform. When my sister purchased the uniform it was way too big for my niece when my sister went back later that same evening around 7:45pm(mind you they close at 8pm) to have it replaced they told her they were closed. WOW! they were closed at 7:45pm(fifteen minutes ahead of their posted hours) and they refused to exchange the uniform. Great customer service… NOT!!! Well, we all went there with my 10 year old niece for her to start her training. Since she didn’t have a uniform she was told by the female black belt that she couldn’t train because she didn’t have a uniform, she could come back probably Thursday or next week when they got her uniform in. Needless to say my niece was really disappointed and sad because of this. Well we left and my sister-in law and I went back to try to get a resolution to this problem. That was a wasted effort the female black belt we dealt with earlier was still very rude and unsympathetic, and tried to change her story now saying that she could go on the mat wearing her sweats while she waited for her uniform. As a martial artist myself the first things they teach you is humility, well female black belt was definitely lacking that. To summarize this location I say avoid this one. Most schools offer one free class before you obligated to sign up for more, well this one is give us money then we’ll train you if you like it then pay us more. Oh by the way if you don’t like it don ask for your money back because you won’t get. The first thing they say to you is NOREFUNDS!!! Overall avoid this school!
