Surprised by some of the negative reviews. Just ate here for the first time and I love it! I had hesitated on a few occasions to try this place because of the some of the reviews. But, I’m glad I tried it today! Pizza was awesome! People were awesome! And I will be back for sure! I go to Blaze Pizza, Pieology and Pie Nation which are similar concepts where you build your own pizza and choose the toppings etc. this place ranks right at the top!

They are out of pesto, out of sausage, bacon is cooking, out of cherry tomatoed, pink lemonade is empty and has no replacement, ice tea sweet is out of order. Wash your hands on the restroom and they’re out of paper towels. So I tried to go to their website and found its been disabled. Moreno Valley. Wtf?

Not impressed. I didn’t feel like pizza but my husband did so I agreed to go since they have choices for salads. Or so I thought. Half of their dressings and all of their proteins except chicken were no longer available for the salads. This restaurant is next to Panera. I’m not paying the same price for a salad that consists of lettuce, tomato, and ranch when I can walk next door and get something better. I also wanted to order down thing for my four year old, but you can only order an 11″ pizza… I will not be back.

I’ve been wanting to try out this place ever since it open up but I always lag it and never went until today lol When in for lunch time/dinner time since I was on the clock order my pizza to go it was done in 10 mins it was delicious and the fact that is pan style is a plus for me put as much toppings you want for the price 7.50 not bad defiantly will be coming back Place was some what empty at 6pm plenty of sitting areas

This place used to be great. Now it’s just going downhill. Let me explain… For starters they get a D-minus in customer service. They rarely greet you on arrival. Sometimes they avoid eye contact altogether and pretend to be busy with something else while I wait to place an order. They act bothered — especially when I ordered 4 pizzas at one point. Well, sorry to keep you in business, ladies! The old staff was way more friendly and upbeat. Three of the girls who work there now seem moody/uptight and miserable. BTW, I totally agree with Bee G’s review — see below. He pretty much nailed it! The dough… it is sloppily made and not so visually attractive anymore. That was not the case when they started in 2014. Back then they made the dough nice and neat, almost perfectly round. I guess this place took such a toll on the staff in just over a year? My 12 year old found a booth that was dirty, and he had to clean it himself. I was busy ordering the pizza and making payment so it’s not like I could get to the table first. I noticed they don’t have as many customers as before, so they can at least come around and clean the tables every now and then? The only two things that SAVE this place is the fact that they have good ingredients and BOGO offers(rewards). THAT’S ABOUTIT. The pizza tastes good because of the good quality mozarella they use, not to mention their tasty garlic butter. However, the pizza can be hit or miss at times — it all depends who makes it. The African-American girl with glasses makes a good cheesy pizza, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. I guess I will keep coming here for the kids’ sake, and because there’s no Blaze or Pieology nearby. I just hope they make the improvements needed to stay in business. Best of luck to you!

Really enjoyed this place when they first opened but each time I come back I like it less and less. They are constantly dropping items from the menu and the staff has become less and less friendly. This will probably be the last time I bother

My how the mighty have fallen. A year ago Five85 opened in Moreno Valley seeking to cash in on a ‘Chipotle style’ fresh fast and casual dining pizza eatery. Posh Pieology and Badass Blaze do it well, Five85 does not. 585’s competition knows that trends come and go but the ‘pizza biz’ is not new and customers want more than handfulls of stuff thrown onto dough, and dished out with a bothered smirk. The high octane beat at Blaze is as paletable as their pie. 585 has no energy, or excitement, or welcoming gestures, no pace or rhythm, or any operation worth noting. While their pizzas are edible and their business looks clean, other issues are ‘wiping’ out their reputation. As well as being out of energy, or hellos and goodbyes, they were also out of NAPKINS! Yup, I’m not kidding(basic restaurant supplies). I asked for a paper towel instead. nope. also all out. Toilet paper? Anything? Come on! For real? So I walked next door to the .99 cent store and bought some damn napkins – why couldn’t they? I guess 585’s business strategy was to copy the BYO pizza bar concept, but do it cheaply and execute it poorly – with zero consideration for customer retention. I wanted to share my experience with them but their website link reports their webpage as ‘disabled’. Calling them at 951−656−5700 only repeats their ‘number is no longer in service’. Yah see, this is why serious build-your-own pizzarias like 800 Degrees, Project Pie, Pizza Press, Blaze and Pieology and alike have nothing to worry about. Good pizza service will go on forever while Five85 will be a flash in the pan! Honestly, I’d recommend they just revamp and reopen as a lower price CiCi’s, they’d probably sell higher volume and last longer. Good Luck!

I like coming here for my son who loves pepperoni pizza. Pizza is okay. The staff is HORRIBLE ! They don’t even look at you! Every time I come here, the girls are just rude!

Jose was the only hospitable employee. Monique and Kayla, the employees who were«training» Jose were extremely RUDE and STINGY — not to mention their poor attitudes. The food was okay, but I won’t be coming back.

I don’t know if they’ve changed owners or what, but this place kinda took a turn for the worse. I used to work in food service too, so I’m all about giving people the benefit of the doubt. But the lady who helped me was really not friendly at all and had a relatively bad attitude. I asked if she could top my pizza off with avocado and pesto sauce after it came out of the oven(which I always do, try it!) and she said«we don’t do avocado». Then why is it on your menu? And I would’ve been completely fine with it if she was a little more apologetic or sincere about it. Not only her, but everyone working just looked miserable, It made me feel bad for them. The old staff was way friendlier and more upbeat and I’m assuming the owners probably were too. I will probably be back considering this is the only build your own pizza place near me lol, but I do prefer Blaze pizza over this place for sure. Ugh I really hate to be negative so I will say the pizza was still good. And they have the rewards again and I had a free drink from my last visit months ago, and they did let me use that!

While the place was clean, the staff was nice, and the food was tasty, I could only give this place 2 stars. When I asked for certain items that were on their menu, I instead received an apology that they were out. Basil, salmon, apples for their dessert pizza… One item I can understand — but 3 different items I requested? I have crap luck, but I can’t imagine that I chose the only 3 items on the menu that they were out of which leads me to wonder how many other items were unavailable. The pizza was good here. The ingredients(those they had on hand anyways) were tasty and decent quality. The alfredo, on the other hand, was not so good. The sauce was runny and didn’t pair well with the chicken they tossed in. The s’mores pizza was tasty and the marshmallows smelled divine. I’d go again, but I wouldn’t go in with high expectations.

The pizza here has exceptional taste. Its the same style as a blaze pizza, but the variety of toppings is not as wide a selection as blaze. The pizza was delicious overall. The free dessert pizza for checking in through Unilocal was satisfying-especially for being free. I had the s’mores dessert pizza, which was nothing spectacular. It was just marshmallows cooked in a crust drizzled in chocolate. It was free so I can’t complain that much. They also have options to make your own salad.

This place actually isn’t that bad! I like how they have build your own pizza, pasta, & salad! I like their pizza because they have a great variety of toppings and goodies you can add to build your pizza. Everything about it is pretty good. I have no complaints! I personally do not like the salad because they don’t have a great variety of mixed greens… But if I want a non-greasy meal, I’ll suck it up and take what they have. The pasta is good too, but then again they only have two options of pasta. Bow tie and penne. I honestly don’t like those choices, but you get what they have… Overall, what I like about this place is their great variety of toppings! & the prices are affordable! I think it’s pretty worth the price! Everything comes in only one size. However, I think they are a pretty decent size. At least for my stomach.

I’ve come here about 20 times since they opened. It’s been like listening to Korn. Every time I come, it gets a little worst every time(just like every Korn album got progressively worse). I originally came here because as a person with Celiac Disease, they offer Gluten Free crust that is decently sized unlike some of their competitors, Pizza Hut’s Gluten Free Pizzas are an over-priced joke btw, but that’s a whole other rant. So I have a food allergy, and I’m a vegetarian to boot! So a pizza place that had amazing selection of veggies and GF crust for $ 8.99? I was sold from my first visit. That’s when it all started going down hill. They use to accept Five-Star(a loyalty rewards card for those whom aren’t familiar), and I had patronized the joint enough that I had a free pizza, and a 50% off pizza. So I went to cash them in one day and was told I couldn’t because«we no longer accept five-star, their choice not ours.» I was told. Yet, Five-star keeps telling me that I have free things there. So ok, I can accept that, but then they took their perfect balance of fresh veggies to sliced meat ratio and made it 80% meat over night. Their reasoning? «I don’t know, that’s just what the owner decided to do.» Ok, fine, I can accept that too. Not everyone shares my lifestyle choices, and the American population is obsessed with meat as a majority; that’s fine to each their own… That’s when the third strike came. The attitude-having I don’t-give-a-sh*t girl behind the counter messes up my pizza; and when I went up to the counter she ignored me for almost 10 minutes and then instead of making me a new pizza they(very rudely) told me I could come back for a free pizza at another time. So I went hungry, but decided to come back for my free pizza. That’s when tonight’s incident happened. They close at 9. At 8:39, I was at the stop light leading into their parking lot with a clear view of the door. No employees came to the door while I was at the light, yet 8 minutes later(I know stupidly long light, right?) I walked up and grab the door. Only to find it locked with more than 10 minutes to spare. Needless to say, I WILLNOT be coming to this place ever again, not worth the f’ing hassle for mediocre build-your-own pizza. I wish then the same fate as the last 3 restaurants in their current location. If I could give them zero stars I would… Patrons beware.

Our first time … We told the first girl employee we were new to this place and if she could suggest anything. She seemed bothered and told us quickly … Still a little lost we just decided on 2 pizzas looked easy enough. The two girl employees that were helping us at the counter just seemed annoyed. No smile, no explaining how to make our pizza. I had to ask what everything was … We also ordered pasta for our infant. They do not have a kids menu. The whole experience at first seemed like fun … But was very far from that. We sat in booth and didn’t notice that there was water spilled on the table and both benches of booth. We both sat in water and my purse got soaked. The only thing good was the pizza the pasta was cold . So we tried one more time … Employees just are not happy don’t know their product. Seem annoyed when we ask questions. They were out of about 3 meats. Sat afternoon and no more bacon. Or maybe she just didn’t want to go and refill it? Food was good. Pasta was cold again.

I had a feeling Pizza Five85 would be like Pie 12 in Fontana and boy was I right, they use their cups and pizza boxes?!! I don’t get it. Slow service, not really sure what they are doing at all. Selection was fine, though nothing really tasted great in terms of quality and freshness. I went with a pizza as well as a salad and while it was fine, this has to be my least favorite create your own pizza chain. I do appreciate that they offer noodles as well as pizza and salads, but they have to work on service, speed and quality. Also nice, free dessert pizza with check in, i went with half caramel apple and half smores, both lacking in topping and flavor, great that its free, but I have had better dessert pizza at Cici’s buffet. Prices are super cheap, I would rather pay an extra dollar or two and get better quality elsewhere, still I am a fan of this concept and hope they step up their game.

I don’t usually give 5 stars for value meals, but this place, although boring looking inside, is great. $ 8.50 for an italian style personal thin crust pizza cooked in their kiln-like oven with any number of toppings? Yes please. It was, for the price, really good! If you know my other posts that says a lot. I want to go back to try their pesto sauce.

I came here without the hubs with my little one. It was a Saturday around 2 pm. There was no line but there were plenty of people sitting around eating or waiting for their food. We wanted a pizza and since I had the kid with me I let her choose everything. We had marinara sauce, with garlic butter, two different types of cheese, pepperoni, and bacon. The way you order food is the similar to Subway. You go down a line and add whatever toppings you like. Except at the end they put is in the oven and hand you a beeper that will beep when your food is ready. I did check in with Unilocal and got a free dessert. It was just a pizza dough covered in chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. No Bueno! We did enjoy the pizza and experience. Will be returning.

This is equivalent to Pieology everywhere else in So. Cal but without the pretentious asshole vibe and more family friendly. I built my own pizza(self explanitory) checked-in on Unilocal to unlock the free dessert pizza and thought both tasted great. The young lady that put together our pizza was delightful and even when my boyfriend decided not to order a pizza after she already put the dough in the flattener(not sure what the technical name for that equipment is) she still kept it just incase he changed his mind which I thought was nice of her(he stuck with the salad, but he usually does change his mind 3 times). You can’t go wrong with this place, it’s simple, customizable and pretty fast. There’s hardly anything new or different or worth visiting in that town so I definitely would stop by here if you’re looking for something good to eat that’s different and won’t break the bank; it’s $ 6.99 for a personal pizza and you will get full off of ½ to a whole pizza.
