I normally love this place. The food is great but i always dine in. I recently got the chicken bowl To Go and was very disappointed. i dont know why i think its because they don’t put the sauce in the chicken they give it to you on the side. Also the chicken was very rubbery which normally is not.

Ate here a coupla months ago while in town for work. Coworker and I stopped in late one night and got combo meals of chicken and beef. HUGE portions with a lot of meat and some broccoli on the side. I was very impressed with the amount and could hardly wait to dig in. Sadly, there was zero flavor to either the meats or teriyaki sauce… Again, beautifully cooked meats and presentation(covered with roasted sesame seeds and green onions), but zero flavor. The sauce tasted watery and bland and I ended up throwing a good portion of it away. I don’t know if they just don’t marinate their meat or it wasn’t long enough, but sadly, a huge disappointment. I was in town again all last week for work and passed by here every single day but sadly, remembering the blandness of the food, I did not return and kept going to find something that would at least tempt my appetite. Hopefully, the flavors have improved but I’m not going to waste my time at this place. PROS: The workers were friendly, polite and very efficient when I was here; I really wanted to like this place! CONS: No flavor to the meat or teriyaki sauce, so It made for a very bland, disappointing meal.

First time there was last week, pleasantly surprised. Customer service was great, love the food! Comparable to Flame Broiler and Wabash grill.

Hubby and I stumbled across this place while in the shopping center today and decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We decided to eat outside because it was so nice out, but the inside was nice and clean. I ordered the salmon and mushroom bowl with brown rice and it was delicious. I also ordered a Thai iced tea because I had never had it before and I swear it was like a little cup of heaven. Everything was cooked perfectly, good portion sizes and very decently priced, especially for the quality and amount of what you get. We will definitely be returning, our new go to spot for eating out.

Amazing. the food is so good. The people that work here are always nice. The food is super fresh and it doesn’t take that long to be ready either. I’ve never been disappointed.

I got a different person this time and they gave me my military discount. That made me happy.

Had the brown rice steak vegetable bowl with sauce on the side that was surprisingly Good. Only reason why I’m not giving it five stars because the place is really really dirty and out dated if they remodeled the place I am sure they will have a lot more business! I will not come back until the place cleans up…

This is my fifth visit to flaming grill, I used to be a flame broiler type of guy until I got the chance to try flaming grill, and I must say the food is far tastier and the portions are much larger… I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a tasty, healthier choice of food… there is also a new location that has opened up here in town 12625 Frederick st moreno valley ca 92553(951)6530188

For a flame broiler spin off this place is awesome. The servings are bigger and I think the food taste better than flame broiler. Service is quick and friendly and they are located right across from March arb. If you like flame broiler, you’ll love this place.

Decent flavor at a cheap price. I’d recommend others to go here especially if you’re tired of getting fast food all the time. It’s a family owned business so you know it’s good quality.

Bowls are definitely larger than I thought they would be. Teri beef was very tender and tasty. Overall a great value. Would definitely return. Friendly workers also a plus. Their salmon and mushroom bowl is awesome, the mushrooms are super tasty!

Food was ok. Wait for food, was long during lunch hour. Need faster service. Not a big fan of the customer service and the main guy that’s always grilling is a bit on the rude side.

I tried this place recently looking for a new Asian Fusion place to try. I recently stumbled on to Ono, and while not bad, I have to say this place is far better. Portions are bigger and prices are lower. The meat to rice ratio is also of more value. Staff is friendly, and I’ll definitely be returning.

This is by far the best post workout meal in town!!! You can’t go wrong with the portions size of meats they carry! A+++

This restaurant contains a small interior, which reminded me of «Waba Grill.» The food appeared to be similar as well. The cuisine that I purchased was the chicken plate, which consists of a large portion of rice and chicken, with a side dish of salad and a fruit. I didn’t expect for the portions to be as big as they were. The chicken plate tasted very good, which wasn’t over bearing or too bland. The portion of the teriyaki sauce was excellent. The staff was also very nice and the interior was clean. I will definitely attend this fine restaurant in the near future.

I would agree with other reviews that liken this place to Flame Broiler, but with slightly more generous portions and slightly lower cost. The main difference is that you can also get salmon and shrimp at this place. The salmon is huge considering the a-la-cart cost of only $ 3.99. I don’t eat fish, but according to my family, it was tasty and flaky like salmon should be. I had the shrimp, steak and chicken. The shrimp was fresh cooked, unlike my other favorite bowl place that re-grills them. They have that nice snap when you bite into them, but they are still tender inside. The steak was good, but I didn’t care as much for the chicken. But that is true for me in general, I’m not a big chicken fan. I also wasn’t a fan of their teriyaki sauce. It was a little bitter. It didn’t bother me since I make my own Benihana style ginger sauce and put it on all things Asian-esque at my house, but be aware that it isn’t your typical teriyaki before you pour it all over your food. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a bowl, I would recommend either this place or Big Bowl near Lowe’s over all the other bowl restaurants. UPDATE: On my last visit the shrimp were smaller and didn’t have the same snap. Also, the salad dressing didn’t taste the same. I’ll give them one more chance. Hopefully it was just an off day.

Ok so I’m going to compare this place with an average flame broiler to give you a better idea. The place seemed pretty clean but nothing impressive. If you come with more than group of 4 then you will have to find more than one table. Now the important part… FOOD. I asked Chicken-Steak-Veggie Bowl with Brown Rice. Portion wise, it seems a little more than Flame Broiler because the bowl seems bigger. I think they cooked the meal right there and right then because the food was pretty hot when it came out. I liked it a little better than FB. Both chicken and steak were cooked just about right except for the slight burnt ends. The veggie tasted pretty fresh and the sauce wasn’t overwhelming the other ingredients in the bowl. The brown rice was easier to eat compare to FB and I think it might be because it’s not as dry as theirs.(which got me thinking they might have more white rice added to it maybe?) They have the coke products and some OJs and stuff. Over all, I thought it was ok. I will come back some other times but I didn’t think it was amazing or anything… Just OK…(Unless their shrimp bowls are like totally off the chain… I will try that one next time)

We just happen to see this place and thought we’d try it. I’m really glad we did it was sooo good. We have a Flame Broiler in town but I would drive right past it to eat here. You can get shrimp bowls and vegetable bowls. The young lady who helped us was really nice and the place was very clean. I would diffenetly go there again.
