It was my first time dining here and the service was good. It was a slow day, the tables were clean. I don’t understand why these other reviews were complaints. My sister had the breaded meat torta & I ordered the carnitas torta with a LG banana shake btw was a great size and was very delicious. Good job on the presentation! Our cashier/​host/​waitress was very nice. I will be returning.

We really liked going to Tortas Sinaloa until today we ordered Agua de Fresa with milk and it was sour the milk was bad the restaurant itself was hot no AC on and the waters that are ready to be served don’t have ice in them there were flies all over flying around and apparently the cook was by himself we got our order 1 hour later it was the worse experience there we have ever had never again will we go back another customer walked out because the waitress told us the other cook left I know its not her fault it’s obviously who manages the restaurant or the owners who are not doing a great job!

The last time I came I said to myself I wouldn’t come back again but I made a mistake and came back. To start off, the enchilada plate I ordered was a mess. The rice was all smushy and the beans were old. The enchiladas themselves were not good. The chicken was not fully cooked and had no flavor. The sauce on the enchiladas was very runny and it just seemed like tortillas with a bit of salsa. The carnita torta was good. The asada torta was alright but the meat seemed a bit old and burned. The hibiscus (agua de jamaica) was really good. Customer service was good, nice and friendly. I don’t recommend this place for any other food except maybe the tortas. I’m Unsatisfied

Worst carne Asada burrito I ever tasted in my life ! I took a bite and threw it in the trash it tasted like the beans where old and the Asada was nasty too. Bad place to eat do not go here you will be disgusted.

They used to have waitresses here but apparently now the cashiers asks you to come the register, take a menu and come back up to the register to place your order. I should have left after being told that, but we just went ahead and ordered.
I had a «spicy» milanesa torta and Jamaica and my brother ordered an Al Pastor burrito with Horchata.
The meat on my torta had no flavor nor was it spicy. The meat on the burrito, well there was hardly any meat ! There was a lot of fat and chewy pieces of meat, almost tasted undercooked. We took a few bites and left the rest.
The drinks were both way too sweet and warm.
They have indoor seating, the tables are all sticky and wobbly, no AC and no fans.
Experience was just a hot mess…

Very colorful Mexican Torta Joint I guess. Food was good. Was very hot inside, no A/​C on summer time, where its alomost 100 degree in moval.

Good food but really bad customer service. They charged me wrong, had an attitude when I asked for a substitution and they don’t even seat you or even come to you to take your order. They make you go to them to order. So rude.

Parking: Not bad parking considering it’s surrounded by a smoke shop, haircutting place, and a shoe store.
Service:The woman that took my ordered looked kinda bored… very unenthusiastic.
Taste:I ordered a carnne asada torta, it took a while to get my ordered and it wasn’t very crowded at all. the meat was average to say the least and the tortas size did not impress me for the money i spent on it.
Price: Almost 8 $ for a tortda (tax included)
Verdict: I had high hopes for this restaurant but in the end it just ended up being average and so much more room for improvement.

The only reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the Pastor tacos are the best I’ve tasted in a very long time.
The rest of the tacos were kind of nasty, sad to say.
The service is pretty good. The girl taking orders is very polite and helpful and the order was ready fast.
The Al Pastor tacos were so good! Very nice smokey taste and tender meat!
However, the carne asada tacos were just dead-​dog nasty. They did not taste good at all. Think old meat. Not meat they cooked and let sit, but meat they let sit too long in the refrigerator and then cooked it. We threw them all away.
Will not be coming back here!

I came here on a whim due to crappy service at ARMANDO’s Mexican Food off of Lasalle. The young lady at the front taking orders was polite and the food was okay. Nothing great nor bad about it. IMHO a typical mexican eatery… I’d come back here before visiting the other place.

I’m not surprised by the ONE star review below.
This casual Mexican restaurant is right next to the salon where I get my haircut. I saw that it was busy so I figured that the food must be that good, right? Wrong!
I don’t know what all the big fuss is about. Service is SLOW and the workers look bored.
I waited 20 minutes for ONE miserable carne asada torta, and I was starting to think they had forgot about me! And to top it off it wasn’t even THAT good! I would have forgiven them for the wait in return for a delish torta, but it was mediocre at best.
Not to mention a bit pricey for the portion you get. That was my first and will also be my LAST take-​out here.
