After a wine tasting, I joined the club. The wines are reasonably priced and I love love love their Port and their Champagne. The staff is nice and they have a lot of events for you to attend. I got a bunch of nick-nacks for Christmas during their sale.

Wine tasting in Morgan Hill? You don’t say. Who would’ve thunk it. The outside is lovely. Cute architecture. Outside seating available. The inside. is small. It was a busy afternoon on a Weekend and it felt crowded in there. The ladies at the counter were nice and approachable. Wine tasting was $ 5 and you get to pick a few choices. The champagne was delicious of course! But, I was really impressed with their 2014 Pinot Grigio. Looks and tastes like water. But boy is it not.

I loved visiting this winery. It was definitely a very pleasant visit this afternoon, perfect way to share a Sunday. Richard was fantastic! He poured us delicious reds and made sure our glasses were attended well. Thank you for the laughs & great customer service, Richard! We’ll be back!

This winery is located in a nice setting down in Morgan Hill and the people are friendly at the wine tasting bar. The wines are decent, but nothing great. The atmosphere is a little kitschy and is immediately adjacent to and overlapping their gift shop which had a lot of knick knacks. They seem to excel at the red wines and I thought the cab and the merlot were worth buying and taking home to have with a nice dinner. I think there are better wine tasting experiences in the area however.

Our first visit to this winery was mid-week, mid-afternoon. Tasting fee was $ 5 and included six selections. The wines were generally very good and the prices quite moderate. There seemed to be a steady flow of customers and most of them were Wine Club members, in other words return customers. Several reviewers have commented on the location across the street from a school being an odd choice. Actually the school is across the street from the winery, the winery having been at this location long before the school was built. The ambiance and the wines both fit well with our tastes. I would recommend this place.

This winery was very cute and I have herd so many things about it I had to check it out. I enjoyed their whites and usually I skip them and go for the Reds. The tasting fee I $ 5 and I believe it comes with 5 or 6 tastings. The inside has so many cute items to buy I have to resist getting everything. Next time I will defiantly stay longer and have a glass on their patio.

i was visiting my friend in her new home in morgan hill and she suggested that we come here for a bit of wine tasting since it was such a short drive from her house. this vineyard is situated just slightly outside of downtown morgan hill, on a large patch of land where the owners have the capacity to grow and tend to their grapes. there is also an outdoor space to hold large parties such as a wedding or birthday party or other special occasion. inside the wine tasting room, there are counters where you can taste their reserve wines and shelves where you can browse or purchase their souvenirs. next to the tasting room is another event space that could easily hold 100 guests for a special event. although we didn’t get a chance to taste their wine on this day, we enjoyed walking around the grounds, learning a bit of history about this 90 year old vineyard, and browsing at their selection of souvenirs and gifts. the ladies who work here were super friendly and helpful. if i wanted to host an event in morgan hill, i wouldn’t hesitate to book this venue!

Fantastic service. Such a pleasant ambiance and amazing wine. We loved all the wine here and bought four different wines to take home with us. Definitely worth visiting and enjoying, don’t miss out!

Guglielmo Winery is one of the oldest wineries in Northern California with an Italian old world vibe. Wine is ok and the ambiance is quite nice — European feel with a small deli section, large gift area and two pouring bars. Pretty grounds with nice fountain and gardens. Ciao.

Everything I want in a winery. Everyone who works there is very helpful and cheerful. The wine is wonderful. My all time favorite thing I had there was the almond champagne. If you like almonds and like champagne then you have to come and try it. I walked out of there with a full case of wine. They also make their own Brandy and sweet vermouth. Really fun to try!

I’ve been a member here for a few years now. The main reason I became a member is that the winery is the 2nd oldest winery in the Bay Area and they know their wines and I have learned a lot. They are good about answering any questions you ask and have generally treated me and my guests really well. On really busy days, the service can be a bit hit and miss, but over all it has been very good. They have a wonderful gift shop and at Christmas they know how to «deck the halls». I really like the member events. I have only been able to attend a couple, but they are top notch. Guglielmo also offers classes for beginning wine tasting, pairing and offer group tours. If you are a member or purchase a bottle, the normal $ 5 wine tasting is generous and free. If you are a member, you are allowed up to 3 other guests for free. The prices range from $ 15 and up. They Tres line is their youngest offering and is a very good price point. I’ve recommended this stop to many of my friends.

Just so you know — «Goo-YELL-mo.» Not Goo-GLEE-ell-mo, not Googley-mo. Third times’ a charm for me, apparently. Stopped in with a party of 9 on a rainy Saturday and were immediately greeted by the warm and friendly ladies serving in the front room. There was a private party going on in the barn(lucky them!), but there were plenty of people around to help us out. $ 5/tasting gets you 6 or so pours, refunded if you make a $ 20 purchase. Pricing on their wines will easily motivate you to buy more than that. Stainless-steel aged Chard was a winner, along with their Syrah and Barbera, if you go for jammier, earthier reds. Their Cab, which would usually be my go-to, was more acidic. Breadsticks are laid around, as are pitchers of ice water, so you have no excuse for losing control of yourself. My party ditched me while I re-tried the champagne, and I ended up leaving with two bottles(one goes away for New Year’s — $ 11/bottle). The best combination of dry and sweet I’ve ever seen in a sparkling wine. Definitely go at least for that! Awkwardly across the street from a high school, but the grounds are gorgeous and the folks are nice. Check em’ out!

PISSPOORCUSTOMERSERVICE !!! NEVEREVERCOMINGBACK! I’ll even come in and tell you in person Saturday so you can know exactly how effing rude you were to me. I’ve been a very loyal Gugliemo customer. I joined their club, I go to all the BS events, etc. So, 2nd annual lobster dinner rolls around… I buy 4 tickets. The price went up $ 10/ticket and they skimped you on a glass of wine. Last year you got 2, now you only got 1. fine, whatever. Penny pinching is not cool in my book, but OK I can deal. My husband works until 5:30 in Sunnyvale, so get there JUST in time — right before dinner is served 6PM. NOWHERETOSIT. Their response: «find a seat.» I don’t think so… I did not pay for 4 of us to have dinner together to just sit anywhere. Seems like pretty poor event planning on your part — right? You know how many people bought tickets. Anyway… so they add some room at the end of one of the tables, we get 4 seats together, thanks??? I shouldn’t have to say thanks!!! Or get dirty looks from the employees working the event all night!!! WTF is wrong with you!!! AREYOUSERIOUS!!! So, I had a bottle of wine FROMGUGLIEMO from the club membership. and asked them if they would open it so I could share it with everyone at the table. NOPE. They threw a FITINMYFACE. «This is not part of the event, you cannot have it, blah blah blah» WTF. So, you mean to tell me … you do not want me to open a bottle of your wine that I purchased FROM you… at YOUR event that I bought tickets for, which you skimped us a glass of wine and jacked up the price? OK, sure. So, someone at the table… DID open it for me. one of their ONLY nice employees… Dinner is nearly complete(I’m still eating) and some woman comes over looks at the empty bottle of their wine that was«not a part of this event» and literally reams me out in front of EVERYONE. I could not believe it. I am not a effing child. I am not your effing child. I am a customer. A paying customer. Are you serious!!! RUINED my dinner. SOMAD. It was embarrassing. I was completely appalled. I’m cancelling my membership. I want a refund on the stupid wine club thing I haven’t picked up yet. I live in Morgan Hill and spend an intense amount of time with my neighborhood and around town and I am 100% going to tell EVERYONE that I come across how completely RUDE you were. It’s disgusting, you should be totally ashamed of yourself. There are much better other places in town that will get get my business you snobby assholes. Here’s a tip: don’t get in a business if you hate serving other people politely? I know, super hard concept to grasp but … there you go. NEVEREVERAGAIN.

We had high hopes, but the wines were average, at best… actually below average. The two women who pour in the front room have poor social skills and barely greet anyone walking in the door. The highlight: a sweet guy in the back room who pours the Reds and knows A LOT about wine. Side note: This is a child-friendly :(winery and there were LOTS of children just roaming around. And, unfortunately there was a woman with a screaming toddler who didn’t have the common sense to take the little girl outside or just leave. She chose to ruin everyone else’s experience.

I attended a wedding here last Saturday. I immediately found it to be odd that a winery is located directly across the street from a high school. You even have to park at the school when attending events at the winery. Strange to say the least. It’s a cute wedding venue but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a wow factor. The tent provided a nice escape from the sun. The décor was pretty but understated. The food was nothing special. There was a full buffet setup with dinner rolls, salad, mixed veggies, pasta with a meat sauce, mashed potatoes, chicken breast, salmon and a carving station with prime rib. It would have been much better to focus on making a few outstanding items instead of throwing together everything you could think of and doing it all half a$$ed. I will also point out that there were three vegetarians at my table who were stuck eating the salad and veggies. There really wasn’t a decent vegetarian entrée. They just had to throw together the side dishes. It’s a pretty venue but I couldn’t help but be instantly irritated by the number of huge black flies buzzing around. Most likely the result of a bunch of horses kept on the property right next door. The theme of the night for me was flies. They were everywhere. Landing on you as we sat and waited for the ceremony to start, landing on the hors d’oeuvres platters during cocktail hour and crawling all over every part of the buffet during dinner. Imagine standing at the carving station while the chef is slicing the roast for you and there are flies on the cutting board. Fricken gross! I need to take another star away because the DJ/MC was pretty annoying. He involved himself waaay too much into the entire evening. He didn’t come off as professional to me. Talked about himself too often. He played a song and even mentioned the bride and groom specifically asked him not to play. Had this been my wedding I would have gone apesh*t. He also kept announcing things were going to happen and then taking it back. He clearly was not on the same page with the timeline for the evening with the bride and groom. We did have a great time. But ended up eating at Jack in the Box down the street afterwards since the food was hard to enjoy with the fly situation they had going on.

The quarterly bottle-your-own events are a lot of fun, and the wine is very inexpensive.($ 6/bottle if you bring your own bottles, add $ 1 if you use their bottles) They have food, and sometimes there’s a mini farmers market in the courtyard next to the wine shop. Overall, a nice way to spend a few hours in Morgan Hill. Bring a picnic!

Wedding Venue: Absolutely gorgeous! The view, the atmosphere and the tent is something to talk about. Beautiful place. Big place for a small or large wedding. Only downside: parking is at the school across, some parking in front of the winery and they lock the gates at night time, so your car might be stuck there if you don’t get it in time. My friend got beer and wine. I didn’t get to try the wine(chugging doesn’t count), but I remembered sipping on some rose at the beginning and it was good! A picture perfect venue.
