Love the free peanuts, the burgers, and the cajon fries. Seems always consistently good.

First AND last time I come here. I was sitting there waiting for my food(that took forever to get and was sitting on the counter for 5 min done before I even got it) when I saw a young girl come out from the back putting food into her mouth and then went to the register and started ringing someone up and then continues to go to the side counter and started making the food ALLWHILE wearing the same gloves the entire time! I went up and told her what I saw and the guy who seemed to be the manager thanked me and asked her to wash her hands and change her gloves. All I have to say is your employees lead by example if she was doing that then they all are doing it. There are health regulations for a reason and I’m not trying to get sick!

They have gotten a LOT better when it comes to service. The burgers are delicious and the food came fresh and quick. Will be coming back!

Came here around 7:50 and waited around 20 minutes to get two burgers. Afterwards, I came home to find that my two burgers were cold(less than a five minute drive). However, what really surprised me was that when I opened my burger, I found NOPATTY. After twenty minutes, I get a cold and patty-less burger. Disappointed, won’t be coming back.

Good burger but bad service. Tattoo neck guy taking orders has stick up his ass. Very slow service even though not crowded. Shakes weren’t ready until we were done with burgers and ready to leave.

Feels like the staff are not as happy as the«other burger place across the parking lot. Ordered the hamburger all the way and the veggie sandwich. I think when someone cleans(wipes the table)/and it’s left wet, why not dry it? We wiped ours and saw another lady do the same after. Add more veggies on a veggie sandwich. Nothing to rave about. I’ll stick to going to another red and white tile place for the pit stops in Morgan hill. Also $ 3.99 for fries?

Music too loud. Crumbs on every, I mean every table. Garbage on the floor. Lots of spilled soda in front of the machine. Cashier not friendly. I only eat a few burgers a year. If eat one, I don’t want to feel like a second class citizen, I already feel like I’ve made a bad decision as it is.

Horrible service cold fries and the cashier was horribly rude… no manger was around to take care of business. Go to Mooyahs, in n out or Dennys… at least people smile … we will not ever go back… this place sucks

Pricey for a hamburger. But for the love of God, can you turn up the music any louder? We were having to yell at one another across the table during out meal.

I don’t know how they do it, but this is one of my favorite lettuce-wrapped burgers. So often, it’s the bun that makes a burger, but at FGBF, the burger without the bun has a ton of flavor. Their fries are legit and they offer malt vinegar… a perfect storm, y’all. I’ve always wanted to try their dogs, but just can’t keep from ordering a burger!

I find five guys fantastic with beautifully portioned fries and deliciously grilled hot dogs. It is always a nice place to have an amazing meal.

The regular burger is a double! Who does that!!! I always need a nice fat nap after eating one. Big juicy, greasy, fresh burgers and delicious fries. Everything that I need… Five guys rules.

I am a Five Guys fan but due to cleaning up what I eat(something similar to Paleo with no bread, potatoes, etc.,) it has been awhile since I have been to one. Tonight, I decided to splurge since we were staying at a nearby hotel. Big disappointment. The burger was good but not great and the Cajun fries were just hot with spices but not much flavor. When we lived in Fremont, we used to love the Five Guys there. Regretfully, based upon tonight’s food, I cannot say the same about this location.

$ 13 for a burger, fries and coke seemed a little steep. The food was okay, not as good as «in out» burger for half the price. They lobby was filthy with dirty tables and floors. Not impressed, I hope it was just an off night for the establishment.

My niece wanted to eat here so we came. I’m vegetarian and was really disappointed with their«veggie» option which was just grilled veggies with cheese on it. It was pretty greasy and definitely was cooked on the same grill with the meat. My niece loved her burger. The fries were really good. She also loved the soda fountain that they have that lets you add flavors to your drinks. I felt it was pretty expensive for a fast food quality burger/experience and it was a little over 20 $ for both of us. Definitely isn’t my first choice to come back to.

I’ve been back since my earlier review, they’ve cleaned up a bit. Facility is now similar to other Five Guys in Bay area.

Following a lackluster experience at the San Jose outpost of this chain, it took me over two years to try the Five Guys in Morgan Hill. Based on an awesome burger today, I should have visited sooner. This location is in the plaza with Chipotle, Yogurtland, Peet’s, and Anytime Fitness. The interior seemed generally clean, although at least one table had a noticeable mess that hadn’t been attended to(and it wasn’t busy since I was the only person in line). The free salted peanuts were present in two locations, near the door and near the register, and they’re pretty fun to crack and eat while waiting for your order. They also have one of those Coca-Cola machines with a touch screen and seemingly hundreds of options. I know that the«little» burgers already have a nice thick patty inside, but I went for the standard Cheeseburger($ 6.59) with its two patties instead. I had it «All The Way»(mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard) plus relish. Skipped the bacon since I didn’t feel like adding the extra dollar. For the side, I got the regular-sized Cajun Fries $ 3.59) since I hadn’t tried it before. The burger was a lot better than whatever I had the first time. Juicy, well-seasoned, some crunch, really savory. For anyone who’s trying to make direction comparisons to In-N-Out, I think the relish completes the spread-like flavor profile. Cajun fries had a nice mildly spicy and salty seasoning, and this option is definitely not something I’ve seen at any other local place. Most of the fries had a good crunchy exterior when still fresh(as opposed to at the tail end of a meal) and fluffy interior. The portion is kinda ridiculous; there’s no way they could fit the overflow in the fries cup, so they just leave your bag full of fries. Burger-wise, my burger today at Five Guys outdoes MOOYAH(over on Tennant) in the more premium pricing category and is a worthy alternative to In-N-Out, pricing aside. Fries-wise, clearly superior to MOOYAH, which had consistency issues, and the standard In-N-Out fries(although I’d argue that the«lite-well» In-N-Out fries are satisfying with less crunch-deterioration). Overall, for somebody in Morgan Hill who wants big burgers and thickly-cut fries(or cajun fries), Five Guys is most likely the best you can get. (P.S. Still thinking that I should make my Five Guys fries plus In-N-Out Double-Double animal-style soon. For anyone who’s ever had this fantasy, the two respective locations in Morgan Hill are very close to each other, making this dream very achievable.)

A very clean store with an efficient staff. It’s convenient, on Cochrane just off Highway 101. I had forgotten how good a simple burger can be. The beef is the star. On the other hand the fries are not on the top of my favorites list. *Five Guys factoid — the ‘Veggie’ sandwich is 440 calories and the small burger is 480 calories.

2 time at this location and they forgot the bacon on my $ 8 cheese burger… Again. $ 29 for dinner for my family and In-N-Out is across the street. With In-N-Out you get the same amount and quality for $ 21 and they have a drive through. Last time here

Well you are just out of San Jose — going south, or going north just about to approach the lions mouth of the bay area, and the Cochrane off ramp leads to several choices. My Honey always wants the peets coffee, there is a big chevron to fuel the car and several food choices, a deli, a chipolte, five guys, and an in and out. Well Five Guys has the burger of choice, in and out the fries, chevron the gas, and peets the coffee. so what are you going to do. let your taste bud be your guide. we are confused and having a good time at it!
