Well I was really exited when I saw crepes on the menu as they are my favorite. But I was disappointed they were made with buttermilk pancake mix and made a little thinner than a regular. I had the German with powdered sugar and lemon. Asked for extra powdered sugar and lemon and waited 15 minutes by then they were cold. Service is bad.

We have been going here for years, when we are in the area. After our most recent experience, it might be a while until the next visit. The dining room was empty. Maybe that should have been a clue that the place has gone downhill. To keep the story short, we were seated, then mostly ignored. Our order was taken, and we waited. And waited. It wasn’t like the place was busy, we were the only customers. It wasn’t like there weren’t employees, but they were busy. Talking to each other. My partners hamburger was cremated. She would have complained, but nobody to complain to. See previous paragraph. Maybe we will try again some day, but with Sizzler nearby, we have an alternative.

Date of service: 05÷30÷16, 1100 hours My family and I ate at this establishment, as it was a suggestion from my vehicle’s GPS menu. With the restaurant being about 40% capacity, we were seated promptly. Then our waiter came and took our drink orders, which he brought back to us within a couple of minutes. And after that, he took our food order. –Kid’s spaghetti –2 eggs srambled w/white toast –Joe’s scramble w/tomatoes and white toast –Chicken Caesar wrap My son’s(3 yo) spaghetti was okay, it looked(and tasted) like the sauce was store bought. It didn’t really have any distinguishable/distinct flavor. My son gagged every time he put the food in his mouth(is that a bad indication?). My wife’s wrap was«just okay»(her words). The chicken pieces were too big, and it didn’t really have a lot of flavor. My scramble was good, however, the waiter told me that they ran out of white toast so I had to settle with sourdough(I think my mom got the last slice of white toast). My sliced tomatoes were just that, a tomato that was just sliced. I wished they at least grilled it and seasoned w/salt & pepper. My overall experience was just okay. It was a good thing that my family was just passing by. Will I eat here again, probably not. The waiter never really checked in on us to see how the food was or asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. But that’s just my two cents, thanks for reading.

It was amazing to find fresh fruit and vegetables in a restaurant so close to the freeway.

Took my daughter here because kids eat free after 3pm! I got the turkey and mash over sourdough bread with veggies on the side plus ice tea! I ordered chicken strips and fries for my daughter. The food was a little on the salty side for me for both plates. The service was ok. The man that greeted us was friendly. When he sat us, he offered crayons and a color book menu for my daughter. Thought that was a nice touch. He came back with my ice tea and took our order. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out so not bad at all considering we were the only people there. I did see a guy come in to pick up a Togo order. I’m sure we will be back as long as the kids eat free is offered. We will try something else and hope it won’t be salty.

Zero stars! San Jose location 5 stars. Service stunk here wait staff argued… over bacon. Never came back to see if we need anything or how food is…

My family and I frequent this location because it’s not as cramped or crazy busy like the one in San Jose. I normally like their food however this past visit was a fail. I got my food and as i was mixing it, I saw plastic in my food. Wtf? Told the waiter and all he did was take the plastic wrap out, after he saw my disgust only then did he ask if i wanted a new one made. Came say I’ll be back anytime soon.

The service was slow, other people came in after us and got their food before us. Waited 10 minutes for a refill for coffee. Some of our food was under cooked and greasy. Another table said this was the worst burger that he has ever eaten. I will not be coming back to this Scramblez.

Not use to a Scrambl’z not being packed… we walked in an were seated promptly. I ordered the Country Scramble w/eggs over medium because scrambled eggs are not my thing. The biscuit(which is homemade and huge) m was topped with a lean sausage patty that was home made(according to the menu) and tasted that way. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the gravy was honestly better than my Kentucky Granny’s. The campfire potatoes were the bomb, full of crispy flavor yet soft and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the California Scramble and an order of Pancakes. The Pancakes were pretty good, downfall was the cold bottle of syrup on the table. Always in Morgan Hill for tournaments so if you find yourself there check this spot out.

We came here because Betsy’s was too busy and we will probably wait for betsys next time. The service was quick but it also wasn’t busy which should have been a sign for a Saturday morning. The pancakes were too thick and tasted like corn meal. The biscuits and gravy was ok. We try it at every place we go to and here the gravy had no flavor and the biscuits were dry. Too expensive for it to not be amazing. We won’t go back.

Food was plentiful, but not very hot. I felt the price was high for the kind of food served.

very expensive for breakfast, nothing fancy or flavorful. Honestly I think Denny’s has a better breakfast for waaay cheaper! $ 3.75 for a small cup of orange juice! I’ve had beer that’s cheaper then that.

This place was ok. Nothing stood out to me. The service was ok but that’s because we were the only ones there. I should have known since I came in at a normal time I feel everyone goes for breakfast. So that should have been a red flag to go somewhere else. The pancakes were too thick that they were raw in the middle. And the syrup was already on the table? I personally love warm syrup so that was a big no no. I ordered a scramble cheese n bacon to be exact and it was good nothing too exciting. I only saw my server twice which is bad considering we were the only ones there. The hashbrowns were so blahhh. If you guys are starving and need something quick that’s not fast food go here.

I didn’t like the service. The server was trying to be quick but the restaurant was empty. He got my order wrong. The food was okay. Lots of facial expressions when tried to ask for extras like ranch or syrup.

I have eaten at this location several times and think it gets a bad rap. I’ve never had bad service and the food has just fine for what it is. OK it’s not a culinary masterpiece– it’s basic breakfast. The Decour is kind of neat and portions are healthy. Overall my experience is been fine there. I’ve given 3.5 stars

Went here with the entire family because it’s so close. Can’t believe we haven’t been here before we proclaimed! Probably will never go back after the experience we now exclaim! The food was good. Not great or fantastic but good. Better than regular diners good. Surprisingly good. That being said the serviced sucked. It took a long time while there was so few patrons there. It’s fine I understand sometimes it’ll take awhile but just let us know. Bottom line there was zero communication from the server. Right as we sat down, BEFORE we got menus we were asked if we want coffee. Sure, fine, yay! Later he came by with the coffee pot and filled everyone’s coffee. Yay! Only to discover upon the check, he charged us for those refills EVEN if the cup was NOT empty. Just a top off. Seriously!!? And who charges for coffee refills at a diner? What’s more is we were never informed of this. Combine the servers poor attitude, long wait, lack of communication and really lack of service(had to wait 5min for a box while we watched him goof around with the other server, had to wait five minutes for half the tables food while we had our half, had to hunt him down and verbally ask for the bill even though he cleared our plates because by that time we weren’t asked if we wanted one of the yummy sounding sundaes, we just wanted to get the heck outta there). Normally we are great tippers. Hey I used to work in the food industry, I know. But this server deserves to be promoted to customer. He personally made it so we will drive to another diner to eat for as long as we live nearby.

Came here on a Tuesday morning before heading up to Great America. The inside reminds me of a retro diner with eclectic décor. We were seated immediately and didn’t have to wait long for our order to be taken. I went with the chicken fried steak(my staple to compare brunch places to), and my fiancé got the chorizo omelette. The food came out quickly. The chicken fried steak came out nice and crispy with loads of gravy – yumm. The chorizo omelette was pretty big and tasty. I liked that for the entrees you have a choice of pancakes or toast. Of course I’m going to choose the pancakes! The pancakes were nice and fluffy, solid pancakes, but I’m not a pancake connoisseur. I was stuffed at the end though. Probably not the best idea to stuff my face before going on roller coasters =P

What a pity!!! An once great diner went down, and not worth stopping by. I used to frequent them a few years back in Morgan Hill and it was a pretty solid diner. Breakfast was good and the usual diner suspects at night, service was good with some energy. Stopped by today and was sorely disappointed, sat at my usual spot at the counter. One employee walk by me twice, never acknowledged that I was there nor did any other employee. This is 2PM with very few people here(should have seen it as a bad sign as it never used to be this dead). I started looking around and it just looked a bit run down and dirty. After another few minutes with nobody taking an interest to bring a menu or even acknowledge me, I just got up and left. My mistake I should have read the reviews, this place will not see me again(well at least till I see the reviews improve). I highly recommend that people avoid this place and management take serious interest to restore it back to it’s former glory. It seems that perhaps the owners took all their interest in the newer one in San Jose off Almaden and forgot about the one in Morgan Hill.

The breakfast here is solid. The eggs, the biscuit, omelets, everything is solid. Order EVERYTHING breakfast here. Don’t come here for dinner. I ordered the fish and chip dinner special. It was three frozen fish patties. Pro-tip: You should come here for brinner(breakfast for dinner) if you have a child with you. Their main meal is free. So drinks and sides for them are extra. Pro-tip: Be careful with what you order. Because every breakfast item is so attractive, your breakfast bill will be higher than you originally thought it would be.

Scrambl’z is a good family friendly option. The décor is very 50’s diner. The menu is classic American food including breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have so far been here twice for breakfast. The portions sizes are large and the food is nothing special but decent. The server we had was friendly and we got our food in about ten minutes. The big thing is there are a lot of families with kids, so I would keep that in mind when choosing to eat here. This is an A-OK breakfast spot. If you do have kids, they advertise that kids eat free after 3pm with the purchase of an adult entrée.
