The cashier definitely did NOT want to be there and everyone else working was pretty much incompetent…
We were the only people ordering /​waiting for food and they just kept getting confused on what we ordered and how many to make… it took them 15 minutes to figure it out. (We ordered two western burgers)
Obviously was just dropping by on my way home from Socal… but wouldn’t come back to this location. It wasn’t very clean either.

Holy hell! Don’t!!! Just DON’T!!! I stopped in to get something to eat after a long road trip before I headed home. The stench, and I do mean STENCH, in this place was horrific. It was the smell of a dead mouse/​rat/​name another rodent here, times 10! The smell was throughout the restaurant & the bathroom. The bathroom was MORE than filthy! The lack of toilet paper & seat protecters was bad enough, but the fact that the soap was broken AND empty proved that this was just a nasty restaurant. There is absolutely no way that anyone should be allowed to work in this building let alone anyone eating here! I plan on calling the health district to report this place & I hope it gets cleaned up!

This is the most filthy restaurant I have ever been in. RUN away, do not even stop for their bathrooms as they do not have any toilet paper, seat covers or soap. The stall doors do not lock and the floors were littered with trash. The restaurant smells like death. Specifically dead rodents or rotting food. I am most concerned that they received a «pass» from the County of Santa Clara Health Department. There is NO way that place is clean and ok to prepare food. The employees do not care, go elsewhere. If this was the last place on earth to eat… I would rather starve to death.

This place is scary! I went in today and ordered the original turkey burger which comes with a big bun a lot more iceberg lettuce then the size of the burger one slice of tomato and some ketchup I also had them add a slice of American cheese to it. It also had lots of red onions on it. None of this did anything to help the fact that this turkey burger taste like a rotten hockey puck. With over 1000 mg of sodium it still could not cover up the flavor that the meat was neither fresh nor tasteful. My husband got the beer battered cod sandwich which was also flavorless despite having 1140 mg of sodium and he said the best part was the huge wad of iceberg lettuce. This place is not very well-​kept at all, the dining area has the dried wipe marks of the sticky rag that was used to wipe things down. The scariest part was the women’s bathroom. The floor was filthy the bottom of the stalls are all broken down and falling apart, there were no seaTcovers, there were used tampon wrappers thrown on the floor, there was no soap in the soap dispenser, and I had to use a blow dryer to dry your hands leaving you without a paper towel to open the door. The handicapped stall door it was off kilter and I had to struggle with it to get it to close I can’t imagine what someone in a wheelchair would do. My husband said the men’s room was disgusting and given the baseline for men in the men’s room it must’ve been pretty bad for him to say that. For a place that has posters plastered all over it about it’s hormone free antibiotic free grain fed beef and turkey they need to take a look around and put some of those antibiotics and hormones to work on the rest of the place.

Keep driving Unilocal really needs to add a negative star option.
In December 2015, went here for dinner with family.
The bath rooms were disgusting.
The employee’s uniforms were sloppy and covered in stains.
The countertops and tables were covered in a sticky grime.
The food was not prepared with care and it tasted abnormally oily.

Pretty sad that the chain allows it’s brand to look so bad. Going through the drive through led to reservations as to whether we should place our order as the outside windows were frankly disgusting. They were filthy and we kept our fingers crossed the inside kitchen wasn’t the same.
The burger was not disappointing, but man, the place looked scarey and gross. 1 star for hygene, 3.5 stars for a fast food burger.

Excellent service. Very courteous counter person and someone came to the table twice to ask if everything was OK. Even brought extra sauces and cleared the table trays for us. Food was normal quality but service was excellent.

I’ve been here a handful of times, every time I come it seems as though everyone who works here hates there job. When going through the drive threw you have to repeat your order. When you pay at the window and get your food, can the employees smile or make eye contact something friendly. I think the staff needs some training. But overall the service is horrible I will not go back again. Whoever owns this place should hire new staff. Last but not least the couldn’t even get the order right.

Drive thru or drive by?
I’m a Carls Jr. fan. I’ve been one since I was a kid. I’d ride my bike for the 2 for $ 5 western bacon deal. Love those burgers.
Morgan Hill has a reputation for being an upper class town. This Carls Jr didn’t get the memo. Ghetto ass employees that can’t wait for there lunch break to take a hit. Customer service is poor. Ask for ketchup! I dare you. You’d think ketchup is a rare commodity. Just ordering your food, you feel like your inconveniencing them… at $ 10 a combo you’d think a little gratitude would almost be mandated. Not here. Do yourself a favor… if you want great fast food service, check out the McDonalds across the street. I’m not a huge mcDonalds fan but there customer service has me coming back. In fact I think they are known for there service being premier in town… and it’s a fast food chain.
Don’t eat at this Carls Jr. Drive on thru because you feel like you could be part of a drive by.

No stars if I can, bathrooms were a mess, no one greeted us right way, food wasn’t served hot — warm at best fries were old burgers seem to have a trend pre cooked and held for serving later.

While Carl’s Jr is one of my favorite fast food brands along with InNOut I did have some customer service issues at this particular location. When I arrived there was no one else there and the two employees at the counter were doing some work at the cash resister. They completely ignored me and continued doing their thing. I finally asked them for their attention and got a very rude response that the item I was asking for was discontinued. I asked for another item and they reluctantly took my order. I have gone there one more time since and just ordered through drive– through.

trying to order the Charbroiled atlantic cod fish burger that they’ve been advertising all over all day everywhere and they have posters all over the restaurant and they tell me they only have deep fried. then whats up with all the ads. I’ve been here once before and it took them 30 min for my order and when I asked the manager, he said they are going as fast as they can and to just wait. They weren’t even busy. I told him isn’t this suppose to be a FAST FOOD. I would have gone to a sit down restaurnat if I had that kind of time to be waiting. Manager need to take some customer service class.

I couldn’t order anything here. I wanted a drink, but went to the bathroom first and it was so filthy and poorly maintained, I shuddered thinking of what the kitchen would be like. I left before subjecting myself to food poisoning.

I’ve gone here several times over the past few years to use coupons, and I don’t remember having bad experiences. The most recent visit was to get a free Western Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was pretty awesome. I might have found a new favorite non-​In-​N-​Out burger. Love the crunch and the BBQ sauce.
Order came out fairly quickly — maybe 2 to 3 minutes — even though it was a busy weekday lunch time. I also like to snag some sliced jalapeño peppers for my mom from the salsa counter, and nobody seems to mind. My only issues would be that the location is a bit old and the parking lot is kinda crappy. But yeah, don’t be afraid to eat here.

My resent visit (my first and last!) to the Carls Jr. in Morgan Hill was the worst fast food experience I’ve had in a while or maybe ever. Here are the highlights of my visit…
Get to the Counter to order and male employees are saying really disrespectful things to a female co worker in the back (in Spanish which I understand perfectly). She might have been OK with this it seems but I was not! Luckily my kids are not old enough to understand what they were saying!
Flies in the dinning room! Gross! Not just one either, maybe a dozen. Upon leaving I saw the garbage bins by the door overflowing with garbage. At least now I know where the flies are coming from.
Woman’s rest room was nasty! And from what my husband told me the men’s was not much better.
The food also reflected the laziness of the people that worked there. Cold tortillas and Cris cut fries that had 5 Fry’s mixed with other random fried stuff. No I’m not joking! There was a piece of fried fish, some onions and regular fries all mixed in.
Avoid like the plague, if for no other reason sanitation! There was only 3 customers + drive thru at the time of our visit, which was 4:30 pm on a Monday.

Horrible & I have given them more than one chance since I live down the street. Yuck

Just passing through for quick bite from Gilroy to San Jose. Burger and fries were good. I think the order takers need to clean their ears! I think I repeated my order 3x before they got it right. I was at the point of slamming down my money on the counter. For good measure, I made sure to watch and wait for my food just in case.

Hey everyone!
I went to the green burrito/​carls jr yesteday. I guess I should have read the review before i went. Anyhow I couldn’t help to notice that the staff working there were eating food while cooking… kinda grossed me out for some reason. (I did check my food for bite marks) and also they wore no gloves… I mean come on if you really want to show people your cooking at least make an effort to make it look clean. I got my burrito which seemed to be ready in like 5 minutes… I got my food packed up and got home and it seemed to be cold and i live like 2 miles away from the builiding. The food wasnt too bad if you just block out images of nastythings happening to your burrito in the making. think positive…:)

I have only visted this particular Carl’s Jr. ONE time. NEVER AGAIN!
One Word to sum it up: DISGUSTING!

This place is 3 for 3 on the one star reviews.
As Carl’s Jr goes this one is pretty bad.
The worst maybe.
The burgers don’t even taste like Jack in the box and they have an emphasis on lukewarm with stuff here.
The only thing consistently hot here is the coffee (and one of the cleaning ladies).
All in all DON“T go here.
