Had wonderful experience! Food is excellent, even though a little expensive! Good place for groups and private occasions !

Came here for Valentine’s Day dinner. There were things I really liked and some things that weren’t up to par. The ambiance is amazing. It is absolutely gorgeous inside with dim lighting, a fireplace, and lots of candles. The service is also superb. For the prices however, I would have expected more from the food. We started out with drinks. I had the«amore» valentines drink special, which was fantastic. The bread is just ok, which is a big deal to me. I think every nice restaurant should have great bread, but that’s just my opinion. For apps I got the lobster salad, which was $ 16.95 and lacked any real flavor. My boyfriend got the lobster bisque, which he sent back because it was horribly fishy. He also ordered the prawn cocktail, which was seriously overpriced at $ 16.95 for 2 prawns. For dinner we both got the filet mignon, his medium rare and mine medium. His was cooked perfectly, but mine came out medium well. Despite being over cooked it was delicious! My only complaint is the potatoes they served it on. They didn’t have much flavor and they were only, like, half mashed. I’m not sure what they were going for here, but I didn’t enjoy the chunks of potato amongst the mashed. It could have used something to make it more creamy, like a gravy or something to make it all flow together nicely. Also, the greens they served were seriously over salted and peppered(which doesn’t bottle me because I love salt, but I would assume for 90% of people it would have been WAY too much). For dessert my boyfriend went all out and ordered three things: cannoli cheesecake, homemade donuts, and tiramisu. I am cheesecake’s #1 fan, but I did not enjoy this cheesecake. They tried too hard with it and it lost its cheesecake essence. The donuts were not good(even though the waitress raved about them). The tiramisu, however, was OUTOFTHISWORLD. I’m not usually a big tiramisu fan, but this was different than any tiramisu I’ve ever seen or eaten. It was more like tiramisu mousse and it was outstanding. Anyway, if you’re still reading this(lol) our bill was $ 200 plus tip, which we are fine with if the food is worth it. While it was good, it just wasn’t worth that much money. We will go back though and at least now we have a better idea about what to order. Hopefully they read their reviews and improve on some things!

My wife and I went for Valentine’s day celebration. Nice ambience with perfect lighting. Martinis were good start. 2 waitresses, Valerie and Stephanie were prompt and friendly. My wife had lobster salad which was chilled and tasty. I had lobster bisque soup which was not hot enough for my liking. We then got the Seafood Risotto and the Shortrib lasagna with fried egg on top. My lasagna was very good. The risotto only came with 1 scallop, 1 shrimp, and 1 small prawn, which I found a bit short on value. We had a side of fried beets which were excellent. I tried a pint of tap beer which I did not think was cold enough to enjoy. I did not care for the wax paper over the white tablecloths, seem to cheapen the experience, though it may save on stains. Valet parking is convenient and the staff is friendly. I would reccommend and wish to return and try a few more entrees.

Mary Lou was a very attentive bartender and makes a mean martini. Love it. Had the fettuccine Vongol. It was delicious and well presented but pretty small for the $ 19 price tag. The ambience in the place is nice and lots to choose from on the menu. I would come back next time I’m in town.

Was here a while ago and was not impressed. Everyone highly recommended Grato… I thought it was below average. Bread. I shouldn’t have to ask twice to receive bread. This drove me crazy from the start of the meal. I was interested in Veal Chop Milanese… One of my favorites. I asked if the chop could be pounded out thin… The response from the kitchen… «No». Nearly $ 30.00 for the dish, but you can’t pound it thin for me? Okay, scratch that… Very disappointing. I let my girlfriend order the meal, and everything we tasted was very very average. Avoid. White paper over nice table cloths… very tacky when I am handed a nearly $ 200 bill. While leaving I saw the veal… It looked good… not going to lie.

Food was amazing and fresh. Food was definitely 5 stars. We got the filet mignon which was amazingly tender and perfectly grilled. I got the ragatoncini. All the pasta is made fresh. Ambiance is warma and romantic. I would give 5 stars but the service was not as good as the food and has room for improvement. Other than that we will definitely be regulars there!

Love the food. Hate the two waiter system. I sit down. Want to order an app and find out the specials — oh wait I’m sorry I can’t do that. Wait for the other waiter. 15 minutes later he comes by. Unacceptable. Why can’t both waiters take the order? It’s incomprehensible. Also — it would be ok if they were quick — that’s not the case though.

It hits you right upfront with the parking situation which is a disaster and requires valet. The food is so uneven, the white clam pizza was overloaded and had to be scraped just to attempt to make it edible, the bucatini was drenched in sauce that made it hard to discern any flavors in the soupy mess yet the calamari was great. Not sure if it was a busy Friday night issue or something which happens on a regular basis. Follow up: Working in a customer service business, i know customers have a choice and therefore interaction with them is key. Since the review, i have had Harvest Restaurants reach out to me proactively and address issues raised in my review. That quick reaction and willingness to listen to all types of responses is incredible and is the hallmark of a great organization. I would be willing to try the restaurant again solely based on their responsiveness and open mindedness, they should be commended for that.

Best service ever! This is my favorite spot for business lunches and dinner events. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They never rush you, are always attentive and make you feel important. If you tell them you are celebrating and events, they’ll bring complimentary dessert with chocolate writing on a plate for your event(i.e. happy birthday, happy anniversary, etc). The food is very good, great, delicious… But not amazing. I think it’s the lack of personality of this food that doesn’t make it 5 stars for me. The steak I had last time was perfectly cooked, but lacked flavor. The pasta before was very delicious, but nothing special to remember. I can continue this list as I’ve been to Grato about 10 times if not more. And I will come back for its amazing service(6 stars!) and consistently great food(you’ll never be disappointed even if it won’t be a wow meal).

First of all, the best thing about Grato is hands down their service! The waiters/waitresses are very knowledgable when it comes to the menu and go even further to take the time to explain all the specials and answer any questions you may have. I know that’s standard but most establishments no longer take the time or interest in their menu the way that Grato does, so for that alone they deserve 5-stars. Obviously, they have amazing food but that goes without saying, it is a bit pricey but the delicious succulent meals they have are just completely worth the price. They have a full-bar and very extensive wine-list to pair with each dish they prepare fresh with a great view of the open-style kitchen. I plan on coming back 100% to try more of their amazing menu, thanks again guys great job!

I am super picky when it comes to Italian restaurants because most don’t have the full package of food, atmosphere and service. This place checks all boxes! Upon entering you get a nice view of the entire restaurant which is beautiful and pleasantly greeted by the hostess at the host station. Waitress was super attentive throughout the meal and very knowledgeable of the menu, top notch. Ordered the«ghost» beer which is brewed by their sister restaurant and i really enjoyed it wasn’t too hoppy. For the app we had the calamari with hot peppers. Flavor was spot on although it could have been a little crispier, but i rather have them a little under than over done. The Linguine vongole, which was loaded with manila clams also came with 3 – 4 jumbo shrimp. Very well seasoned and pasta as well as seafood was cooked to perfection. The chicken parm was basically an entire half of bird! The chicken and gravy tasted amazing, i would definitely get this next time i come back. The meal wasn’t cheap but not expensive so can’t complain. Overall I was very impressed with this place and will be back soon if i do not try their other restaurants first.

Seriously this restaurant group has what can only be described as the worst service of any restaurant. They have this gimmick where the waiters work in «teams» but the issue is they don’t talk to each other so you wait and wait and wait. Every time I go to one of their restaurants I prepare my guests-Roots, Grato, Tabor Tavern they all have the most horrifying service. I’ve made it a joke so people aren’t surprised. This is NOT a place for a quick business lunch. The food and prices are«good» but the service will leave you and your guests wanting to stab themselves with a fork as you wait for a drink refill or tweak. Today was my last time for me as we waited nearly 50 minutes for grilled chicken salads…

Solid 4.5! My wife and I decided to stop in before heading to the movies based on the reviews and I’m glad we did. The décor is very nice and while parking may be an issue who cares it is free valet. The service was excellent. My wife is on an elimination diet for gluten and dairy and the waitress was kind enough to offer fresh made gluten free pizza dough as a flat bread for her so she could have some bread for the meal. Very nice touch. They have a full bar with fairly priced options which is not always the case especially in a place like this. Paid $ 12.95 for a glass of chianti Classico. We started off with the fried calamari which was juicy and super tender. One of the best I’ve had… My wife had the bolognese with gluten free pasta noodles which was delicious. I had a bite and would definitely order that on my own. I had the veal and ricotta meatballs in pomodoro which came with an almost pici like noodle. The pomodoro was tasty and the the meatballs were very juicy and flavorful. The only thing is they were a bit spongy like they’d been overworked. All in all a great experience that was put over the top by the top notch service. We will be back again — looking forward to trying the pizza. Meal total was only like $ 75 for 2 with drinks, an app, and 2 entrees. Give it a look.

Went here for Mother’s Day and they were very accommodating with our reservation for 9. We were seated on time and the atmosphere is great. Love the vibe. Nothing bad happened. There’s no horrific story that is the reason for only 2 stars. I guess it was just unmet expectations. I expected the servers to be on it. They were just okay. Both Jeff and Stephanie were very nice, but it was a long time from getting water to ordering appetizers. Everything moved along well after that. The calamari and scallop apps were good, too. My biggest disappointment was with our entrée’s. I ordered the lobster Benedict from the brunch menu and was expecting awesome. The problem was they brought mine out first and then the other meals slowly trickled out. My mama taught me not to begin eating until everyone is served, so my food was not as hot as I would prefer. However, I tried several people’s food and everything was bland and very under seasoned. My eggs were over cooked too. Fresh herbs and seasoning could go a long way here. Update: after my 2 Star review, the restaurant generously reached to me. Their desire to please their patrons and make their establishment better is extraordinary. I’m giving 5 Stars for customer service and I hope to be able to do the same for the food next time I visit. Thank you Charlie!

This is one of our favorite places! Another great meal tonight. We had the caprese salad and calamari as appetizers and both were delicious. For dinner we had the carbonara and pasta bolognese. I had the carbonara and it was the best I’ve had in a really long time! For dessert we had the cookie tray with vanilla gelato, they were all great, the gelato and sugar cookie especially! The service was fantastic! Our servers were excellent! We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary tonight, and they made sure we had a perfect night!

Nice upscale place for a sit-down business lunch, but parking is atrocious. Very difficult to find an open spot during prime lunch hours. However, the service is excellent and food solidly above average. Pizza was very good — not excellent, but their pasta entrees definitely shine. Not overly greasy, well seasoned, and prepared perfectly to al dente — no leftovers by the time we were done with our lunch. The chefs made mistakes in their prep of our pizza — twice — and management was gracious and apologetic, finally giving us the pizza on the house for the errors. Would come back again, but I would probably try to come earlier or sometime after 1 pm, so I don’t have to deal with the parking frustration.

Very good ambiance. You can come here for business dinner or date night. Service was great! Friendly, attentive and quite fast. — Complimentary bread: Cold and not so fresh. but maybe this is norm in this area. — Calamari: very good. — Pasta: Good but shrimp with tomato sauce wasn’t any different from ones I had at chain restaurant. I recommend one with clam. — Zeppoli and Tiramisu: Both are good but didn’t blow me away. Overall, I enjoyed dining here. PS: Yes, they offer ½ portion pasta.
