This gallery has many amazing pieces in it, and tends to have the larger, more expensive type of intricate artwork that comes with a bigger price tag. There is so much beautify and craftsmanship to take in when you visit this gallery. In the past year or so, the layout has been redesigned and has a much better flow to it. I think the jewelry is a new addition as well. If you have the budget to invest in some significant art, this is the place to come.

So I’ve been back a few times, and each time Rowan has a new additions to his collection of fiberglass fish. During my latest trip, there were !3! fiberglass seahorses… Oh my God, so cute. I fell in love with the smallest one — kinda black in color, and closer to my budget. I’ve yet to make the purchase… Had I not just made a down payment and 1st month payment on a new car, I would have walked out the door with a fish or seahorse. Rowan recognizes me nowadays… Though not always right off. I guess as soon as my eyes light up, he makes the connection. He is always very nice about my inability to purchase; I’m sure he knows«all in due time.» I do love that every time we walk in the store has been freshened up. He is great with displaying the art — it is always an adventure exploring each corner and wall. Love this place, even if it is just to feel artistic for a moment in time.

I wandered in to this great gallery space on Saturday before heading to Hearst Castle. The owner Rowan Chase was there, and I couldn’t help but compliment his great merchandising. Rowan’s paintings are also fabulous. It’s not easy to pull off«fine craft» without looking like old and tired. Rowan has put together beautiful pieces from local artists and artists from afar to create a vibrant, young and modern gallery space. From fun inexpensive gifts to pricier one-of-a-kinds, there is something for everyone. The website is pretty sweet too. You can rearrange art!

This is a fantastic gallery. My parents and I always seem to walk out of here with something. This time, it was a small clock made from a print of one of the owner’s paintings. They’ve just moved into a new space and I’ll be updating the listing here when I find out the new location. Honestly, though, we’ve been shopping here for years and they always have something fun and innovative to look at, even if you’re not looking for something.
