I don’t frequent this place often and now I know why. It’s seems like it’s a hit or miss but more often a miss, I can’t say that it’s an awful place but it’s not good either. With that said, I’ll get right into it, the place doesn’t have a welcoming feel it’s typically quiet with the exception of old cursing vietnamese men. The drinks are mediocre but unfortunately the south side doesn’t have many bubble tea spots. I guess due to lack of business on some days ingredients are not fresh, I ordered a thai tea and it tasted like one of those thai tea drinks that comes in a can obviously I know these spots do not actually make legit thai tea however I would like to pretend I don’t know that when I drink it but it just couldn’t suffice. The bobas were extremely soft, was not chewy, and tasted quite old. I don’t know if it was just a bad night to have stop by or not but it made me not want to stop by again in the future. I can say though, the service wasn’t bad. So ill give it 2 stars instead of 1 ;)

I love bambu. They have a better milk tea selection than sweet hut. I live on the south side so this is a very convenient location. I just wish more people knew about them bc I would hate for them to shut down. My fav is peach, almond, and hondeydew milk tea with grass jelly!

Have to say, I’ve had bubble teas from places in North Carolina to Honolulu and Bambu’s «smoothies» are easily in my top three. The tapioca balls are big, fresh, and have a unique delicious syrupy aftertaste. Would definitely recommend.

Thank the ever loving Gods of Boba tea for this place. I dont feel guilted into buying anything, but the beverages of choice. CHOICE! I hope they stay open forever, my fiancé an I love it here an it holds a lot of meaning to us. We like the tea here better than anywhere else and the tapioca, so good. I like their smiles even on slow days. :-)

My daughter introduced me to this place and I’m hooked. I’m not Starbucks hooked but close. Desserts here are amazing. I don’t have a favorite. Plenty of seating and the wait is never long. I’ve recommended Bambu to many friends and all seem to love it.

Normally when I order drinks from other places, I never get the tapioca because they’re not done right. Here, they know how to make tapioca. I always get the jasmine milk tea with tapioca. It’s good. Their strawberry fantasy and honey dew smoothies are good too. Every day they have one food item that they sale for the day. Every day is different. They also have free karaōke if you love to karaōke!

This place has become one of my favorite lunch places! The bubble tea is awesome(better than Sweet Hut) imo. not overly milk or sweet. I usually ask for light sugar and ice in mine and it’s just perfect. So far I’ve had black milk tea and honeydew milk tea, two of my go-to flavors, and had them with grass jelly and/or black bubbles, and they did not disappoint. What makes this my favorite lunch spot though is the noodle soups they serve. There’s not a set menu for them, they just make one kind a day and that’s what you get. I’ve had 3 – 4 different ones so far and I’ve loved all of them. In fact, I would venture to say I like them even better than the phở at Phở Dai Loi. The service has been awesome everytime I’ve been there. It’s run by a family and the grandma makes the noodle soups I think. The grandma is super sweet and friendly. Love supporting small businesses!

I do love this place. The coffee is really good, especially if you’re a fan of Starbuck’s. They are now serving noodles in the form of phở-like, Vietnamese soup. I believe they make up one big pot for the day.

I didn’t like the bubble tea here. I’ve never been to a place that charges for tapioca pearls like that’s the whole purpose of «BUBBLETEA» it was grainy as if it wasn’t mixed properly. I’ll stick with honey bubble and sweet hut.

Great place to get some dessert or some really strong Vietnamese coffee. It seems like its never busy at this location compared to the other one. Fast service and great drinks.

I’ve yet to explore all of Bambu’s menu, but as soon as I saw their desserts I was sucked in. I’ve tried the #6 and some of a green apple«smoothie» which was artificial green apple and tasted like a jolly rancher. The #6 chè was delicious though. I like that you can also omit or substitute milks with a variety they have on hand. Since I love lychee and rambutan, which come in some of the desserts, I think next time I’ll get one heavier on that. The jellies and pearls are great too. The texture has a nice quality. They allow their milk teas to also be clear if you want, but you will have to ask since it’s not on menu. I think if business is really slow they will close up early. One day we went about an hour til closing, and no one was there. Calling ahead doesn’t hurt though. I really recommend their desserts, but they’re also a great fix for milk tea and boba cravings. :)

It was a hot summer day and we wanted dessert and drinks so we stopped by here. I got the che 3 mau dessert and it was just ok. I felt like I’ve had better. It could’ve used more sugar. Employees were super nice. The dining room was huge with plenty of tables and chairs. There was no air conditioning so we were very uncomfortable. They had a floor fan blowing but that didn’t help much.

Satisfied by boba tea craving while waiting for my sisters delayed flight. My mom and I ordered the lychee smoothie with pearls and it was delicious! The lychee smoothie was perfect, sweet but not too sweet. To top it off, we ended up getting a flat tire while eating inside. While trying to figure out what to do, the owner and his wife came out and lent us a helping hand. He was super helpful and put a spare on for his. Delicious boba and wonderful customer service! I would definitely recommend this place!

Ordered a papaya smoothie with lychee jelly, which was delicious. Even better than the drinks, however, was the incredible customer service. Rare to find such friendly people in the service industry these days. Was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant and genuine nature of the owner and his wife.

Bambu is my favorite dessert store thus far. And I was super happy to see one when traveling to Georgia. This place is clean and huge with ample seating. So far I’ve only tried their desserts(che), #1, 5, 6, 10, 22, they are delicious, but I think all of them are good though. Staff are very nice.

Love that there’s a milk tea place close by where I live, first off great customer service! Drinks are pretty good except the fruity flavored milk teas. I ordered the strawberry milk tea, while I appreciated the strawberry chunks, it was disgusting. But I tried their milk tea and jasmine and those are pretty good, also pearls have a good consistency. I’ll be back!

I was happy to see a new small business open in Morrow. A lot of big box retailers have closed, so perhaps there is some opportunity for small business in this town. Finally stopped by Bambu today, and was quite pleased with my Peach Milk Tea. I look forward to trying other menu items in the future!

I ordered the black milk tea yesterday with grass jelly and boba. The lady didn’t understand me so instead I was handed grass jelly and red tapioca. The taste was good but I really wanted my balls! Today I ordered the same thing but they forgot to sweeten the black milk tea?! Their consistency is not so good compared to the store up north but I’ll let them slide since they just opened. The Che was ok…

Living in the southside of Atlanta, I always have to drive up to Buford Hwy, Norcross, Gwinnett, far far places to get decent Asian food/desserts/bakery. I was pretty excited to see a Bambu open on my side of town since the first one is in Jimmy Carter. Settle in a abandoned plaza which use to hold Farmer’s Market, the building had been vacated for awhile till now. When you walk in, the place is very spacious. I believe the reason that they have patio type tables and chairs. To my right were love seats with coffee tables. I went in this past Sunday and it was not overly crowded. They had their special of $ 3 drinks for the entire weekend as their«grand opening.» As their name states, they serve Vietnamese desserts(che) and drinks of coffee and tea(mostly milk). I got the dessert that had the mung beans, pandan(sp?) jelly and coconut milk. When I received my dessert in a cup, I had a quarter of coconut milk, three quarters of mung beans mix with the jelly, and the rest ice. It was simple, I wish they had given more of the coconut milk or at least a equal ratio. I tasted the melon milk tea which was very delicious. I think if I were to go back, I think I will for that particular flavor. Not too bad to check out.

Best drinks!!! Just as good as the one in Atlanta. Good thing they put one down here in the south.
