The new asian guy they hired could not even swipe my credit card right. He gave me a number have me parked in the reserved spot. Then came out to get my credit card again. Customers be aware, this seems pretty suspicious.

Honestly, the frozen custard was tasteless and without flavor. All full fat dairy with no sugar. Major suprise and disappointment.

Amazing food amazing services. Their workers work very hard to ensure that your meal and experience is great. I once had an expired coupon and they STILL took it! Best fast food service around!!!

Can’t believe how many times I’ve been here, but had never reviewed it. What was I doing? Oh, I know. Inhaling those double cheddar butter burgers, that’s what! Mmm mmm mmm. Juicy, buttery patties with cheese to give you your calcium and LTO-pickle to cut through the fattiness! Don’t pass up those cheese curds! And who can resist a cup of frozen custard? There’s a new flavor of the day errrr day! Slight bummer on today’s brownie thunder: the brownie bits were SO hard.

Sadly I have to downgrade my evaluation. I was there for lunch and while the food and counter service were excellent, I observed something that made me question the sanitation standards. The guy in this photo wiped three nearby tables(I counted) AND several seat cushions(think: people’s butts and poots), AND, worst of all, wiped around the nozzles of the ketchup and soft drink dispensing units. Not once was the rag in question washed out, dipped in any sanitizing solution, etc. EWWWWW!!!

Very tasty food and prompt service. They give a small senior discount which is nice. The burgers are really tasty and the custard is great.

Good burgers, tasty, fast. We go now and then and really can’t complain, nothing really special but the food is good. Our son goes in more than we do and when they see him they know just what he wants and they get it started. It’s nice that they remember and can get an order right.

finally visited culvers, a wisco burger chain with a high presence in the chicago area and on television. i got a butter burger and tried«cheese curds» for the first time, a wisconsin thing. the burger was fine and the curds were ok though i would rather eat french fries. my issue is paying 7.50 $ for what was a pretty small amount of food. the same thing at the amazing in-n-out burger out west would have been 4 bux, for a burger that is bigger and better. a shame the closest in-n-out location is no less than 2000 miles away in las vegas. oh well, now i know.

Sunday I donated platelets @ Lifesource they gave me 2 coupons for a free pint of ice cream from Culvers. The food at Culvers is decent. We went there and split a Reuben sandwich. This sandwich was actually very good considering Culvers is a notch above fast food. The free pints of ice cream were delicious. We got one pint of turtle ice cream with caramel, chocolate and pecans. Ahhhh the joys of good decadent food. We also got a pint of cashew delight & this too was delicious. We split the pint of Turtle Ice Cream & killed it off. We managed enough self restraint to try the Cashew delight and bring most of it home for another day.

I was pretty excited to find out that a Culver’s came to MG, as I’d only been to their WI location. This ButterBurgers chain has been around since’ 84, and besides their famous burgers, they have salads, soups, fried chicken, and frozen custard. I had the Culver’s Bacon Deluxe, which came with 2 beef patties, two strips of bacon, WI cheese(woot woot!), lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, red onion, and their signature mayo, all on a lightly buttered & toasted bun. The burger itself was quite juicy, but I remember it being a bit more buttery. In all honesty, the main reason why I go to Culver’s is for their WI Cheese Curds — made with un-aged yellow and white WI cheddar, these little nuggets are deep-fried golden brown; think of mozzarella sticks, but being oh-so-much better and in nugget/bite-sized form! They are super crispy, and comes with either ranch or marinara(I opt for the ranch). You can do dine-in or do their drive-thru; the staff are super friendly and make sure that your orders are correct. Since items are made fresh-to-order, they’ll give you a number where you just pull up to one of their ‘waiting’ spots, and one of the employees will come out and deliver your food to you. +WI Cheese Curds: D +made fresh-to-order

love culvers but the hours aren’t accurate online. Pulled up at 1030 to see they were closed when advertised as being open until 11. sad face

I think there butter burgers are tops and the frozen clustered with all the fixens is a better alternative to a mc flurry. I just wish they gave you a side dipping sauce with the cheese curds and onion rings I hate having to go back up and cut a huge line just to say can I have a dipping sauce. If they could ask when your making your order it would be awesome. Other then that this location has a lot of space so plenty of seating areas.

Love their cod fish sandwich! Wish the fish was bigger tho. Lot of bread leftover. Kids love the chicken strips. Real pieces of chicken breast. Nice n crispy on the outside n super juicy on the inside! Butter burgers rock! And of course who can resist the custard for dessert!

This culver’s is absolutely mediocre at night. My meal was onion rings and fried Shrimp. Arrived home opened it and the shrimp was stringy and chewy. This basically tells you it was not cooked all the way through. The onion rings are greasy and also not cooked all the way. This usual means they were not drained before shoved into the styro-foam box. I am so disappointed because I drove all the way there. Crap crap crap in the evening. Whoever works as the cooks in the evening don’t care about the food that goes out. Why did I get butter with my basket? I was asked if I wanted coleslaw with my meal and I said yes and onion rings. No coleslaw, no bread for the butter that was in my bag. Do folks just eat butter now with a spoon? Ugh! At least the soda was decent. After I ordered, I drove to the window and the spaced out window kid handed me the two servings of flavor of the day and my drink; Then he placed a number on my car and said to pull ahead. Ya know, if I wasn’t honest I just would of pulled forward. but, I said… so is it a free dinner day? He said, huh? Dude, I have not paid… oh oh ya… nothing more… DUH! No thank you, nothing. The other person who was stacking cups also said nothing. What the heck people. I hope the flavor of the day has more than one blueberry and more than one piece if cheesecake in it. The flavor of the day is Blueberry Cheesecake. The best time to head over to this Culver’s is only during the day. Period. I bought the flavor of the day a couple of days ago, Double Strawberry… of course it was after 5pm and when I parked to share it with my friend, it had two strawberries. I Guess that’s why it was called double strawberry. Or the mix ran out and was not mixed correctly. I give this Culver’s a half star for after 5pm staff. Maybe this will help me loose a few pounds and just never go back, to this location.

So happy there is a Culver’s by my house now. I’ve been a fan for a long time but had to drive a distance to satisfy my cravings. Now I can have it anytime for lunch, dinner or a snack! I usually get the single butter burger deluxe and cheese curds. The cheese curds are my favorite, I always finish them all. The buffalo chicken tenders are also good and actually tastes like real chicken. Also, their service is really great, everyone is friendly and always asking if you need anything. Love this place!

My first time here and I will definitely return. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. It came on a buttered bun, pickles, lettuce, and a tomato. The chicken was juicy and tasted freshly made. The customer service here is excellent. I appreciated the patience of the person at the counter. She didn’t rush me, because trust it’s confusing being a newbie and they have quite the menu.

It’s nice they aren’t only in the western suburbs anymore(i.e. Franklin Park, Berwyn), or having to take a longer trip into the outer Chicago suburbs to find one. I still wish there was one within the city of Chicago, but this has become my unofficial Culver’s since I do occasionally make it out to this area. And those infrequent times when I jones for fast food, I like to skip the other chains(i.e. BK, McD’s, etc.) and go straight to Culver’s. Service for the most part has been friendly and quick every time I’ve been to this one, and I love the fact you can order cheese curds here. Darnit, if it wasn’t for the fact it’s so many months away till the Colby Jack Pub Burger returns to the menu, grrr! But I know May/June(when it’s usually briefly reintroduced every year) will eventually come down the road…
