By far the worse dining experience. Not only was the food leftover buffet food(still the morning brunch buffet with less on it but more expensive) but it was cold, dry and poorly made. Did I mention that they put on an 18% gratuity on for 2 people without advertising that they would do that? All in all I would not recommend this place ATALL

Had a surprise 30th for my sister, the banquet room was very nice, and the food was good. I was disappointed that our Dj had to compete with the band that was playing in the bar that was connected. They did not tell us they have a live band every Saturday night. Half way during the party our guests had to run out to make sure we did not get a ticket, or towed, the parking lot is not to big, and the lot next door with meters charges all night, we were not aware of this. And last we chose to not include mixed drinks on our bar, we paid out of pocket for those, the drinks were very under poured, and watered down. Not worth the $ 5 – 8 dollars you pay for it.

We have been here a few times and have liked the food each time. We just went over the weekend and there must be a new chef and/or manager. It was horrible. Our wine glass were dirty and didn’t match. My bowl of soup had a clump of gunk or the rim, takes a second to wipe it and make a nice impression. My wife’s Cesar salad was flavorless. It had a watered down dressing on it. How do you mess up salad? I got the veal Brandi. The veal was freezer burned that sauce was a brown tasteless goo. My wife got the scallops and shrimp. One scallop was barely cooked the other was raw. The shrimp were just barely cooked she couldn’t eat the thing. Rather than a waitress seeing it uneaten and asking if there was a problem. Nothing. Really went down hill. It’s a shame the area needed it.

I’ve heard that Amici is undergoing some personnel changes, but they failed miserably on New Year’s Eve. A last minute decision to go out for dinner on NYE, led us to a restaurant search on Open Table. Amici had several time options open. We chose 7:45. Upon arriving we were promptly seated with our table for 2 among 3 in the same area, rather close, but it turned out well since we had pleasant conversation with the 2 tables on either side of us. That was probably the best part of the evening. All 3 tables noticed that there were quite a few empty tables in the main dining area which probably has about 15 tables. Our waitress seemed stressed, but given that it was NYE, we thought that to be normal. On to our meal. My husband and I both had Lobster Bisque and salad to start. Delicious. No complaints there. However, there were no utensils on our table, and our bread basket came with no butter. Our neighbor offered their butter and one knife they hadn’t used. Our entrees were Veal Parm for my husband with a side of pasta. Chicken Parm for me with a side of steamed veggies — well that was what I ordered. A side of pasta is what I was served. It seemed like there was no chance to point out the wrong order or ask for anything else. Our waitress was not very attentive. So I decided to just go with the pasta. As I cut into my chicken(with the one knife my husband and I were sharing), I could tell something was not right. Upon closer inspection, I was sorry to see my chicken was RAW. Probably too many hands in the kitchen or extra help put there for the holiday. Whatever it was, someone forgot to put my dinner in the oven!!! Totally raw chicken. I finally got the waitress’ attention(she did not check on us once after our meal was served) and asked to have the meal taken off the check. She obliged after 2 tries and delivering our check before we could even ask for coffee. Even with the check on the table I requested coffee. Coffee was brought — with no spoons. Had to ask for spoons. Dessert was the house dessert for the evening — an assortment of very cheap cookies. We noticed our neighbor — who’s dessert was already on the table when we were seated — had a much nicer and larger assortment on their plate than what were served. They were probably running out by the time we were served ours. All in all, it was a very disappointing meal all around. One that will assure we won’t return ever again.

Good food, and reasonably priced. We liked being able to customize our own pasta. Our new favorite for Italian in the area.

Our food was very good, but the service was just okay. The waitress was very nice at first(went over the specials/etc.) but then took forever to come get our order. The mussels in my mother-in-law’s pasta dish were 1⁄3 unopened – they brought a side dish of replacement ones eventually. The appetizers were delicious(baked clams and garlic bread) but did take a long time to come out(a party of six seated after us with the other waitress got their salads/first course before our appetizers came out). The bus boy cleared the dishes from the table and spilled the dish of peppers & oil on the floor and down my daughter’s(luckily bare) arm. The worst thing, though, was that he never came back to get the oil off the floor even after one of the waitresses stopped to say he’d be right back to clean it up(20 minutes later after paying the check he still wasn’t back). So, overall, good food, clean place. But the service wasn’t great.

TERRIBLE! Went here for valentines day last night and really wish I hadn’t. I have had better food from Wendys. The girl who seated us was nice but that was it. The waiter seemed annoyed the whole time he was working. There was a group celebrating a birthday and they were so loud I could barely hear the gentleman singing.(Who was really good). The waiter kept telling him to turn down his music too which was annoying. We waited 38 mins to get our appetizers(stuffed mushrooms) which were completely dried up. And when we finally got our food, my chicken was raw and we had to find the waiter so I could get another plate. The shrimp were overcooked and $ 30 for two shrimp and a thin piece of grilled chicken? Ridiculous. We didn’t even stay for dessert because it was so loud and the service/food was awful. So much for a romantic evening out. $ 100+ for food I wouldn’t serve to a dog. Won’t ever be back. The owner should be ashamed.

As out of towners, we went here based on prior reviews. What a disappointment. First let me say, the staff was helpful and gracious but the meal was barely palatable. We ordered chicken parm– should be pretty basic. It was a fried chicken patty with little sauce, partially melted cheese served atop overlooked, limp pasta. And crab cakes which were tasteless and most likely frozen. We have never written a review and are pretty easy to please but felt we needed to let others know of our experience.

Really instant mashed potatoes, ice cold rolls, burnt chicken patty parmigiana. Dirty vents and plants. The girl that greeted us had a black eye, wow. Had to ask for another fork with my main meal, had to ask for a spoon for my soup, which came out was a tea spoon had to ask for a steak knife. Not a good experience at all.

Visited 01÷30÷15 Arrived early for our reservation and had a quick drink at the bar and thereafter were seated right away. Server came right over and gave us the specials. All sounded great. Appitezers are amazing(ItalianBaked Claims) The food was delicious good portions and hot. Just wish the bread came out hot but not a deal breaker. Desserts were over the top. After dinner we walked thru to «The Tap Room» where a live band was playing. Lots of fun. We will definitely return.

First time here yesterday. Took two hours to get thru a 3 course meal. Bread was cold and borderline stale like others have suggested. Asked for a sharing plate and server came back with more bread dishes. Crab cakes were burnt on the bottom. Heard a bunch of cheering in the kitchen. Guess they were distracted by something instead of concentrating on cooking. We would have had a better meal at olive garden. No offering of fresh cracked pepper for my Cesar salad. What Italian restaurant doesn’t offer grated cheese? It’s like going to a Chinese restaurant and not getting soy sauce.

Italian food seems to be a dime a dozen so there is no reason not to be picky. With that said, this place was average at best. The bread served was cold and borderline stale– it just fell very short. One of the recommended dishes was the veal saltimbocca but it was just okay. I felt it was a little salty and a little bit brand. It was over potatoes but there was really nothing special about it. I realize that we came on a week night but it was really dead and there was really no atmosphere to this place. It left me with a lot to desire and probably not a place i would seek out.

Wish I could do 10 stars! This is the absolute best restaurant in Delaware County. First time I went was on a Saturday night and we had no reservations but they were able to seat us at the window in the bar area. Fantastic crab cakes and penne with carbonara, we ended it with the Limoncello cake. Last night we went and was even more impressed with the Frutti di Mare, it was heaven, the veal piccata was the most tender I’ve ever had. Of course I asked about the home made desserts the minute I sat down and tried to save room for the Limoncello cake, also had the home made brownie with vanilla ice cream. I asked for a melon martini, and was so happy I had to order another one. I don’t understand why there isn’t a line down the street to get in there. I can’t wait to go back. Our server Joe was so friendly and sweet. Thank you for finally giving us a fantastic Italian Restaurant with fresh ingredients and beautiful staff!!!

Shocked that this is in secane! The place is great for a date night as well as a casual meeting with friends. Beer selection was good due to the fact of the tap room next door. Service was quick and friendly. The calamari was melt in your mouth delicious.

I took my parents to Amici to celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding as I expected. My father is a very, lets say, picky eater and he loved the food. He and my mother both enjoyed their dinners very much. They love crab cakes and ordered this for dinner. They cleaned their plates — so I think they liked it very much. I had the Veal Romano and it was tender and very very tasty .The staff could not have been nicer to my parents and made this event very special. I can’t wait to go back again !!

The staff was amazing and very friendly. The food was delicious, although I wish they had more seafood in their seafood dishes. We ordered the crab and artichoke dip and I ordered the seafood pasta. The we’re both very tasty but the seafood pasta only had three scallops(my favorite) and was loaded with calamari. The crab dip could’ve used a little more crab, but all in all it was still very tasty. I would go back again but more for the pasta and not the seafood. Their deserts; however, are to die for. Totally worth the trip alone! Yum!

We have had two dinners here as a family group, a month or so apart in April and May. We freely compared, tasted each others dishes, and everybody liked the food quite a bit. First time I ordered a veal saltimbocca, with the scalloped potato and veggie sides rather than the pasta. Superb veal and the sides were great – rich, slightly crispy-topped potatoes and well prepared fresh veggies. The second meal I had the eggplant rollatini(Sp?) which is basically rolled up eggplant parm, with layered spinach in between. Again the sides were consistentl with the previous visit. Really good. Fair sized portions – not huge, but sufficient. Have not had dessert there. We did have stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and thought they were well prepared. One added benefit, is that the bar next door is part of the restaurant and they have some interesting beers on tap available in the restaurant. Professional service with knowledgeable wait staff, who are attentive but not intrusive. Quiet enough for table conversations, especially on weeknights.

I actually haven’t eaten here yet, but I want to. The décor is excellent, next door is a club with live music — used to be called Jolly’s I’ve been hearing good things about it. Owner took me on a tour. Looking forward to giving a real review. I just wanted to get this on set-up on Unilocal.j
