This was our second time at Mammoni’s and I’m glad we came back… truth is our first experience(soon after opening) wasn’t the greatest. Since that time, my wife and I received a gift card and I’m glad we did. Mammoni’s décor has really nice and now they have added great service and delicious for to match! We started with an order of the calamari(with marinara dipping sauce) this was outstanding and should be featured on the menu everyday. For the main meal, I had I had the shrimp fra diavolo(delicious) and my wife had the sirloin steak w/mashed potatoes which she raved about. To our surprise everything was outstanding, we mentioned this to our waiter and he said things changed about 2 – 3 months ago when a new owner took over. If you had poor experience before please trust me and give this place another shot… I’m sure your opinion will change for the better. I hopeful that Mammoni’s does well as it is an asset to Morton! All the best Bill

The food here is DELICIOUS! We shared the eggplant parm, shrimp lejon, and got a larger order of Raviolis with a side of meatballs. You can tell the food is homemade and fresh! Very nice ambiance and reasonably priced!

First of all, I will say that the restaurant is beautiful. They did a fantastic job redoing the space, and when you walk in, the bar looks great and hip and everything that’s missing from, well, most of Delaware County. The menu was unbelievably boring. I was actually shocked. There was not one interesting-sounding dish to be found, however, if it’s done well, who cares, right? We were brought a bread basket, with rolls wrapped in a napkin, which I like because it keeps the bread warm, right? Eh, no. The rolls felt like they came out of the refrigerator – certainly colder than room temperature. Not good. I will say that the grilled caesar salad was tasty, but certainly nothing to write home about. We got a mussels appetizer that was okay – it seemed overly buttery to me, but I think that’s just my taste. Also the mussels themselves were very small, but I suspect that’s a seasonal thing. I was happy to see a seafood fra diavolo on the(limited) menu, since that’s one of my favorite dishes. When it came out, I was very impressed. This thing had so much seafood, it was crazy. A couple mussels, clams, shrimp, a ton of crab meat, and a whole 4 – 5 oz lobster tail. Beautiful. Unfortunately, this was undoubtedly the most flavorless fra diavolo I have ever had. Not just un-spicy or bland, but completely flavorless. My dining partner agreed. There was not one detectable spice. It was a shame. My dining partner had a chicken piccata, and didn’t care for hers either. I REALLY wanted to like Mammoni. I think that it would be a great place to hang out at the bar probably, and I know the dueling pianos are coming soon, so I’ll probably check that out, but in terms of going back for dinner, absolutely not.

First off, I’ll give it to them that they’ve only been open 8 days. And I’ll also give the wait staff/busboys an A+ for effort. They’ve got a gorgeous place on their hands. Very comfortable… very tasteful. That being said, our party had the grilled ceasar, which was good. DIFFERENT… good…but would still rather the traditional«cesear salad». The«tortellini in bardo» soup was disappointing. Two large tortellini’s in a bland chicken broth – more of a taste of wonton soup. The cheese ravioli and red sauce with a side of meatballs – very bland. The chicken parmesan and veal parmesan were good. Have had worse, have had better. The bread is served with no butter and no olive oil. No parmesan cheese offered for entrees either. Coffee incredibly STRONG(and I prefer my coffee to be somewhat strong, BUT…); the tiramisu very disappointing! More of a chiffon-type cake. And, the bread pudding downright awful… bland…All desserts are $ 8.00 and the bread pudding was actually 2 servings! Enough for two or three, yet, the waitress said she had no idea it was such a large serving. «Really?» Again, only open eight days but not sure whether these constructive comments will create any change.
