Most people will notice I rarely write Short reviews, but there really isn’t much I can say for this place. Service is trash, the food tastes bland, and they charge WAY too much for what you are getting. I do not understand how this place has stayed open for so long. It’s really not worth Anyone’s time, there are much better places nearby, such as Cheddar’s, or Long Horn. They may be same ol’ same ol’, but Johnathan’s just is a place worth breaking from the norm to try.

This place rocks! It’s my local(well I just moved here from San Francisco) there’s not much in Mount Juliet that’s not a chain, so when I found this place I was stoked. The food is fresh and they have a great gluten free pizza, very hard to find. Jason and Jenn in the bar always takes care of me. And really the whole bar staff is great. Coming from California I’m a tequila snob and they ordered my favorite tequila Don Julio on the spot for me, the owner happened to be there and he was 100% on it to make me happy, he even makes it a point to sit at the bar to chat with patrons to hear their opinions and concerns, I appreciate the hands on approach. *** bonus! Kick**s happy hour***

Going down hill. Lots of new staff. Slower service. Increased menu prices. Weak pours from bar. 3 weak drinks ea. on 2−4−1 Tuesday and 2 sandwiches… $ 77 plus tip. 7:00 and cleared out on 2−4−1 Tuesday if that tells you anything. Cheaper to go to Broadway.

Went there on a Sunday night, drinks were not made properly and they definitely needed more bartenders and servers and more martini glasses. How do you run out of those.

We’ve been here probably 10 times. It’s always good and a good place to watch games or take kids because it’s loud and they have very good kid meals. My kids love the mixed fresh fruit and it has made this place one of their favorites. The 2 for 1 is good. Expensive place to drink if it’s not on happy hour but the happy hour hours are good. I bring out of town guests here.

I enjoy the bar area at Jonathan’s. The service is always great and personable. Happy Hour 2 – 1 and discounts on apps. I love getting the side salads it come with an always warm bun and cheese. Their pizzas are really yummy.

I like coming to Jonathan’s because it’s close and a great place to watch the game and the food is decent, and fairly consistent. My go to dishes are the Signature Salad, the Carson Egg Rolls and I really like their new Roasted Red Pepper Pasta. Also hey have good Happy Hours and 2-for-1 specials on a regular basis. I’d give more stars but I have a few bits of feedback: a) the staff needs to remember to bring utensils when they bring the food, and b) usually at the end of the meal, the service is slow and takes a while to get the check. Overall… staff needs to be a little more attentive with customer service.

They changed management and the food. There pizza WAS the best in town, now it is way LESS than CRAPPY! When you go in, expect the place to be half full and having to wait 20 minutes because they don’t have the wait staff to handle a half full place.

Not sure why I’m giving this place 2 stars, other than the only 1 star review I’ve ever given was a place that gave me food poisoning and this place didn’t hit that threshold. At least not yet… We were out shopping and popped in because it looked like a nice place. Very large and spacious, and we were stoked to hear that they were running a 2-for-1 draft beer special. Turns out that was the only good thing they had going for them. The wait staff is incredibly young, inexperienced, and under trained. We didn’t experience any rudeness, but it’s obvious that these kids are not being trained or properly supervised on the ways and workings of the service industry. For example, our server didn’t bring our food out or come to check on us until we were almost done. Had she done so, I may not have as much to complain about. There were 4 of us. 3 of us got our meals and were halfway done before the 4th got his individual size pizza, which apparently could have come out with the rest of the food because it was a shade below being burnt to a crisp. My bison burger had been sitting under lamps so long the bun was hard and it had cooked itself from medium to well done. My sister’s fish tacos were bland, tasted like a dirty grill, and had obviously camped out on the service line next to my burger. The final dish– basil pesto chicken– was reportedly«ok,» but the consumer is a southern belle and wouldn’t say a bad thing about anyone’s cooking. By the looks of it, it had also spent too much time under the lamps and was dry. Take away– standard bar food that isn’t very good and definitely isn’t worth the inflated price tag. Come for the drink specials; go someplace else to eat.

Bad experience since I parked my car… There isn’t many parking spots in the front/side of the building so I had to opt in to parking in the back. I parked right behind the back door, which is apparently the employees sporting destination, and I knew it was a bad idea. There was two guys smoking and walking in and out of the place, they were talking about making female/male parts out of the snow we just had. They could obviously see I was in the car and began talking louder. If it wasn’t for a friend who wanted to come here I would have left as soon as I heard their conversation. It’s very spacious inside and we sat in the dining area which was loud or anything. From looking at their menu online it looked like a nice casual place but I didn’t understand the theme. Servers were dressed however they wanted, our waited had on a Christmas sweater, few girls had workout attire, and one guy was just jeans and a button up. The food was pretty mediocre. We were mistakenly given salsa and cheese dip from their food runner which our server allowed to give us for free. Very nice of him. I also saw the food runner giving the wrong tables their food, poor kid. But the salsa and cheese dip didn’t seem fresh, like it was from a jar. The chips always seemed bought from a gas station. I got the bison burger because the reviews kept raving about it. Honestly… I don’t see what was so special about it. It was cooked how I wanted it but the bison didn’t have any flavor. I’m only giving 2 stars because our server was pretty great, he was attentive, and got us what we needed when we asked. I just wish he didn’t stop refilling our drinks after we paid our bill. I may have given another star if I saw management, but no one came around. Won’t be coming back to this place.

Love the food(when it’s right and hair-less) but service is always terrible and it’s way too loud. Last waitress I had there was a complete witch to all 6 of us the whole time for no reason. None of us were rude to her at all. Everyone is always ride and food is slow to arrive. Service is terrible. Save yourself the trouble and go Somewhere else

We just stopped by during a slow time on a weekday. We were seated for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us. We were watching employees standing around joking with each other and they were clearly not busy. Once we did get a server, she couldn’t get away from our table fast enough. She didn’t even pretend to be friendly or happy. We didn’t get silverware with our meal. The food was eh. Then, when we were about to leave, we overheard the manager approach another table because they were complaining, too. I get that it’s a sports bar and I don’t expect much but c’mon! Maybe we just caught them on a bad day but if I were the manager, I’d want to know that my employees were jacking around and not even fake nice to their guests. There are plenty of people who could take their jobs, so these kids need to shape up or ship out.

This is the best sports bar in the area. Great food, friendly staff, plenty of seating at bar. Trivia night on Wednesdays is a good time.

The food and drinks are amazing but the service is WACK! Our waitress came to check on us once and came in the middle of our meal and asked if we can cash out !! She said everything in the after 10 menu was happy hour came to find out when we received our ticket that it was only selected items. The worst part was when she got our receipts she looked at her tip and said really ?! Very cocky very rude WORSTSERVICEEVER!!!

Not bad for this type of eclectic, huge menued restaurant. We had attentive service for our party of ten, securing a back room for privacy. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the happy hour wine specials were great for a Wednesday night. The fried pickles and dessert pretzels were the biggest hits.

This is the best sports bar of the suburbs. They almost always have BOGO beers and have a decent selection. They have happy hour apps a lot too. Their menu is large and diverse as well. The bar area is large and open and has many big TV’s. This is the best place to catch a game or hit up after work happy hour.

Really good food and a wide variety too. It can be loud if you are sitting in the middle of the restaurant. I have never been disappointed by choices and the portions are huge. Give the fish tacos a try as they are really good!

Our server was wonderful. He made enthusiastic recommendations and was very attentive. The food came out exceptionally quick, maybe a little too quick considering none of us had the time to finish our side salads. From the atmosphere I was expecting an expensive menu and small portions. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a reasonable menu! $ 14 for fish and chips with a salad isn’t too shabby. On top of that the food was magnificent and abundant! The fish was fried in a special batter and the sweet potato fries have a nice hint of cinnamon. The house dressing is also absolutely delicious and I highly recommend trying it! I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

Standard bar food mixed with a restaurant, my wife enjoys coming here because its close by. I have had mediocre food for my meals but as my wife points out, I am ordering meals not necessarily meant to be ordered at a bar. My last trip, i ordered the prime rib for dinner and it was just ok. Not hot enough for me, cooked decently, but had no real flavor that I was looking for. Wife always sticks to chicken tenders and tacos and she is usually happy. Going for he bar seen and want food besides bar food? This is your place. Going for a meal and not care about a bar, then this is 3 stars
