Maui Wowi… a coffee and smoothie joint… This was a great place to treat my kids to a piña colada smoothie for bringing home great report cards. No worries, the piña colada was non-alcoholic. They slurped it up in no time. This is a cute location, it has comfy chairs and tables. They offer snack food, breakfast food, pastries & panini sandwiches. The prices start at $ 3.99 for a small smoothie. They even have tiki cups. : — — –) Their décor is tropicalish. They have specials going in every day! We asked for a cup of water and they brought us complimentary water bottles. The place felt inviting… we stayed for about 45 mins chatting and enjoying the drinks. Definitely will come again!

I got a smoothie here in one of their refillable cups and for the price, I wasn’t really that impressed. It was about $ 8 for a cup that held maybe 20 oz give or take. The smoothie was really very good… but the price. Gosh, it’s just so hard to justify the price. I spent nearly ten dollars on a smoothie. While small in the grand scheme of things, it was a regrettable expenditure.

Great people serving and ownership. Very friendly and helpful staff. Products are same as all the chain but they do alternative blends also. Paninis are delicious and made to order. They were very knowledgeable of all ingredients and can help guide you to a wonderful blend that you’ll enjoy.

Love, love, love this place! So glad I finally decided to try it, and have been back twice since! I always opt for the peach smoothie with an energy shot. I wanna try the coffees but the smoothis is just too good! :) Highly recommended :)

Awesome smoothies! I always get the raspberry and strawberry with green additive and it always rocks. Very friendly and quick to help you and they are always smiling. Great place for a smoothie, coffee, or a quick business meetup. 5 stars!

There’s a part of me that really enjoys coming here, but I’m becoming less and less a fan. To begin with, I’ve always been surprised by some of the flavors they DON’T have! No peanut butter and no blueberries? And don’t forget they offer smoothies in addition to coffee! Secondly, I purchased a tiki cup during my last visit & was told that the benefit of doing so was that I could refill it going forward for $ 5.00. Only, I purchased a ‘Mocha Banana’ smoothie this morning, using my tiki cup, and paid almost $ 7.00 for it? I was told that because of some of the syrups used in the ‘Mocha Banana’ smoothie, there is an up charge? Of course, I was told about this after I had already been rung up and had paid for the smoothie! THEN, a lady who I believe is the owner offered to add whipped cream to my smoothie for no additional charge! The issue however is that I had already been charged for whipped cream! In her defense, she did give me a $ 1.00 off my next smoothie for the misunderstanding. Not a good visit!

Great coffee. Authentic Hawaiian treats(I used to live there, so recognized the local brands). My new coffee shop when visiting family in MJ!

Seemed like a local joint, good coffee and smoothie place located right in providence. We are always on the look out for healthy places to get some energy and this fit the bill

my husband and i popped in here after our dinner at blue coast, and loved it. he had a smoothie(which i stole a few sips of, and it was incredible!). i had a hazelnut and pumpkin spice latte with almond milk – they have almond milk!!! it was one of my favorite lattes i’ve had. service is super friendly too. they have a lot more syrups than listed on their board, so just ask them if there’s something you want but don’t see.

I love this place! The atmosphere is great, it’s very calm and chill. I’m biased as far as the menu’s concerned, because I’ve only had the Mango Orange smoothie, but it’s good I don’t want to venture out yet! The employees are so friendly and very welcoming!

I’ve been here 3 times and each time the staff is very courteous and welcoming. The smoothies are delicious and I usually add a shot of energy to it. If you are ever in the area I recommend this place highly :-)

I was so excited to see MJ get Maui Wowi. Want a fun place! When you walk in the door the employees greet you with an Aloha and say Mahalo as you leave. The Hawaiian theme/atmosphere is too cute. I have been here about 3x and have tried both the smoothies and the coffee. The smoothies are fresh, healthy and made with real fruit. I’ve tried both the strawberry and the kiwi lemon-lime smoothies, both were good but strawberry was better. I also tried an Iced Caramel Mocha Delight and it was fantastic, although probably not the healthiest choice! My partner and I have also split the marble pound cake and it was good. Overall this place has a fantastic vibe, great smoothies/coffees, and good service. I would definitely recommend!

I swung by here for a quick pick-me-up on Saturday. I was one of only two people in the place. It took almost ten minutes to get an iced vanilla coffee. I know this place is new, and as the previous reviewer noted, the employees are green. That’s a bit of an understatement. My cuppa joe, while good, made it hard to make up for the slow-moving service. Don’t get me wrong, I will give them another shot because I love supporting local businesses; however, I was underwhelmed by a few things. I was asked if I wanted sugar in my coffee and told them I did. When I received my coffee, I was pointed to the self-service area to add my own and was told that they«do not keep sugar behind the counter». Okay… Secondly, if I wanted to add my own cream, my only choice was Coffee Mate… Uh, no… This is a coffee shop — all the necessary items should be behind the counter for made-to-order beverages. Also, Coffee Mate? Seriously? No! There should be half and half and something other than that non-dairy sludge. I hope they succeed and I hope they take the time to tweak some things and work on getting drinks out to customers more quickly because their product is very tasty.

Clearly the review prior was from a family friend or something to give it so many stars. My kids and husband have been waiting for this to open since we lack coffee shops in our area. Absolutely NOT worth the $ 16 for 3 small drinks. I had a mocha that tasted like sugar free vanilla syrup from the grocery store and lady took forever to make and we were practically the only customers. NOT friendly and knew basically nothing about their drinks etc. SLOWSLOWSLOW. This place is to be just one more small business to fail. The folks working who I assume to be owners had no personality and not friendly at all. One would think when you have a new business and it is dead and clients walk in you would say«welcome»!! «How can we help you and thanks for coming in»! NOT a word! Strawberry smoothies if that is what you call them were ice finely blended with some strawberry syrup or something. Not at all what you think of when you want a smoothie. Very disappointing and will never go back. No where near a Starbucks or Crema quality in the lease and for sure not near the service!

This place officially opened today. I was invited to the pre-opening welcome, which gave the new employees practice, and I went back today as a paying customer, and I’m not going to lie: this place has the potential of being the best coffee place in Middle Tennessee. Coming from me, Unilocal Tennessee’s cranky contrarian coffee connoisseur, that’ saying a lot. Like, this place might be better than all my stand by favorites, whom I don’t want to name here, because they’re still awesome, and potential does not always equal realization. Still probably at least a fifth of my reviews are for coffee places across Tennessee and Kentucky, and I don’t give this kind of glowing review for a place that’s not doing a lot of stuff really well. First, I’ll just say that, although the staff is VERYVERY green, and hesitant to make decisions, they are clearly ready to make coffee drinks. I’ve had a mocha and an Americano, and they were both delightful. I could make excuses for that, but even though they use really, really awesome ingredients, but that’s not fair. I’ll get to the ingredients, which are delightful, but I feel that a bad attitude and poor effort could ruin that anyway. These people are motivated. They are greeting you at the door; they insist that you try your coffee before the transaction is finished; they really seem to care about the process, which is really important. Second, location is good. There are lots and lots of good coffee shops in terrible places. Mt. Juliet has a good coffee shop, five miles away, and not perfectly visible from the road. I love that place, but I don’t go there often because it’s so far off. Maui Wowi is about a half-mile south of I-40, and right across from the Publix. Much easier to reach, and since there’s not a Starbucks location in the region, this should become the go-to coffee place in the Mount J. Finally, they use unbelievable ingredients: the Hawaiian coffee blends are shockingly, amazingly mild, smooth, and delicious. It’s not just pleasant, it’s so mild, it’s has almost a tea-like quality. I commonly add cream to my Americano, just to take the espresso edge off, but that was just not necessary with my Americano. It was amazing. Their mocha uses Ghriradelli chocolate, which is a big step up from a lot of generic syrups, and also a nice upgrade from even Hershey’s syrup. It’s a nice touch, and not used anywhere else in Middle Tennessee. I’ve sampled their smoothies and baked goods, and they are also not just good but outstanding. Once the kinks are out, this could very well go on my short list of favorite coffee shops. The future is bright or Maui Wowi in Mount Juliet.
