Very nice clean rooms. Water preasure is way way low,… i mean i had to run in circles to get wet. Nice that i could bring the dogs on our excursion to Philadelphia.

Would highly not recommend. I was staying in a room on the 2nd floor and the first night I got there, I was laying in the bed, rolled over in the bed and saw dog crap behind a chair in the corner of the room. DOYOUGUYSNOTCLEANUPTHEROOMAFTERPEOPLELEAVE. I left immediately the following morning. Place seems some what clean but is a dump. I go to Mount Laurel quite often for work and I will defitently be staying some where else.

The service was very disappointing: half way through my check in process, the front desk staff(a mid aged lady) turned her face away from me and started chatting with a couple who just showed up. I got upset because she didn’t even say a word to me before she turned away from me and her chat with the newly showed up couple went on and on and on, mean while just completely ignored me(despite she already took my credit card and ID and half way through my check in process already). So I complained and she said the couple were there before me and they just walked away to take a tour of the gym and now they just returned, so she should service them before me. I mean, come on, who gave them the privilege to hold their spot while they walked away, and I should be ignored although I was already half way in my check in process? I think she did this because she and the couple spoke the same language(Spanish) and I didn’t(I am Asian). This showed that she is both lack of proper training and racist to some degree. I am totally disappointed that a good hotel would have such a non-professional staff.

We got this booking really last minute and got a great price for two nights. Pleasantly surprised with the quality! Room and bathroom were very clean, kitchenette was an added bonus, comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well, and efficient hotel staff. Convenient distance from Philly and easy to find places to eat. Great stay!

I stayed in the studio. We were a party of 4, two kids and two adults. We brought a blow up bed for the kids and there was plenty of room between the bed and the dresser. We stayed for a week and were very comfortable. It was clean and smelled good. Everything worked and the hot water was not a problem.(I read earlier reviews that mentioned a hot water problem.) The laundry facilities are complementary and worked out well. They even have a lending cabinet that has a juicer, games, wine glasses, and a larger coffee pot. I definitely plan to book a room here again when I’m over this way. It’s about an hour and a half to the beach. Oh and a quick tip: If you’re out of state be prepared to pay more at the beach for parking at the Seaside Heights State park. That park is the cleanest of them all so I recommend it. Overall I was extremely impressed with Candlewood.

I’ve stayed here a few times. My go to place when I’m in the area. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice, but, other times I’ve stayed there’s was always something broken. Small stuff like a handle on a drawer, light switch, etc. The rooms are made for extended stay. There’s this locker type area with slow cookers, blenders, etc that you can borrow. Rooms have stoves, sinks, refrigerator, silverware, dishes, etc. Everything you would need, and like I said, more in the locker area. A nice exercise room and pantry area with drinks, snacks, etc based on the honor system. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

First candlewood experience. Cheaper rates than other area hotels, friendly front desk. Room is spacious and modern enough. Not sure how thin the floors or walls are since we heard a lot of stomping around. Great for longer stays since there is laundry and other amenities. Wifi is not too bad either.

The Good: The pics on Unilocal don’t do the place justice. They have tastefully remodeled and the rooms no longer look like the set of a 80’s sitcom. Unfortunately that’s it… The Bad: My first room had a strong fish smell(really) so I was relocated to another room underneath a gentleman who stayed up all night walking around in his room. This normally wouldn’t be a big deal but as I discovered after logging a concern with the front desk, he was a «heavy» man and the floors creeked. So then I’m moved to a room which had no hot water in the shower. I foud this out when I came home from the gym. Solution? Use the shower in your old room till we can fix it. Here’s the last straw! Friday night after a long day at work the place is shut down by the Fire Marshall. Apparently a pipe in the sprinkler system burst(where was the preventative maintenance). So now I’m not just changing rooms but hotels… put me in Extended Stay while others were sent to Stay Bridge. If you have not stayed in both the difference is night and day. Then they didn’t pay for the room and I was presented with a bill from Extended Stay. I contacted IHG customer service and got a EPIC runaround till I was finally moved up to Pam who was I think was a supervisor. Without more stories she made things right so «Thank You Pam». Overall I feel IHG is a great company. Unfortunately this one location is a black eye and their first line customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Next time it’s the Stay Bridge for me!

I wasn’t sure what we were in store for being one of the cheapest hotel options in the area. I am so glad that we took the chance. Complimentary coffee all day… perfect for how cold it was! Nicely renovated rooms… nice recliner to watch my games! Full size fridge and microwave… with a cook top and a dishwasher! They even have free laundry! Perfect place for a quick trip

Well outfitted rooms with nice décor at a great price. If you’re to be in Mt Laurel, esp on your dime, for more than a couple of nights, you can’t beat it for the price. Strong, fast WiFi signal — again standard Candlewood — well equipped kitchen and free guest laundry machines, and good ‘pantry’, etc.

A very cost-effective choice in the area, whether you prefer a studio suite /large room or a more expensive but comfortable full Suite. A nice — standard Candlewood design and implementation — facility at a much lower than standard nightly cost, compared with nearby hotels, even for nonExtended Stay guests. Strong WiFi signal, very usable — again standard Candlewood — well equipped kitchen and free guest laundry machines etc.
