Blend Juice Bar

I live right around the corner so I walk over and grab a smoothie sometimes. Other times I’ve met up with people for a meeting or some co-​working as they have a few tables and free wifi. I’ve always enjoyed my smoothies and they pack quite a bit into them. Their produce is always quality and fresh. My only complaint is the price. Two smoothies after tax and a tip, comes out to just under $ 23! I fully understand that fruit and vegetables can be pricey plus you’ve to staff and building expenses. On the other hand, I could go to Whole Foods and buy an entire bag or two of organic produce. Plus, I’ve never seen another shop charge that much so it just doesn’t add up. I still stop in out of convenience and I enjoy the smoothies, but honestly the cost is a bit of a deterrent.

Had the Blue Diva. Pretty baller for a smoothie. Also, the staff is really nice. If you are being forced to diet or want a delicious smoothie — come here.

Arrived at Blend Juice Bar, the Green sweetie is great! Great friendly people and very accommodating.

Change your hours if you close at 6pm! Stopped in at 6:15pm and was told closed can’t sale anything by staff. That’s fine but change your hours posted online and turn off the «open» sign in the window!

I recently discovered this health juice bar, and it is tasty! If you are running the cooper river suspension bridge (which is right down the road), I highly recommend you stop by here after your run so you can grab a nutritious smoothie. I normally just go with the basic «green smoothie». They also have a variety of shots, juices, and natural tea/​coffee. Many times that I’m in here, they will give me free things to try since their «fresh» drinks need to be replaced several times a day. Sometimes if they make too much for someone, they will give the rest away in lieu of throwing it out. While the drinks are a little pricy, you would be hard pressed to find a comparable smoothie shop that has legitimately fresh, healthy drinks. I definitely recommend stopping by here while you’re out and about with friends in the area.

Just tried this place and loved it! I had a Coco Cilantro smoothie and it was very refreshing. Lots of great options and very helpful staff. I will definitely go again!

While I would love to love this juice bar, and am a big fan of the ABC, Blend is too inconsistent and their math just doesn’t add up. Sometimes I go in and receive amazing customer service, but with the «Help Wanted» sign in the window there are a lot of new folks with inconsistent training and new nonsensical rules. The first time I ordered a one-​day intermediate juice cleanse, I paid $ 55 for the bag and the bottles with 5 juices. I would bring my 5 clean 16-​oz bottles back for refills and it would cost around $ 42, which is still expensive, but not unreasonable (the same cost as if you walked in and ordered 5 small 16-​oz juices in their plastic cups).
Now, stay with me here, today I walked in with my 5 clean 16-​oz bottles, asked for 5 refills, and they rang me up at $ 55 ($ 13 dollars more than the last several times or the same cost of walking in and re-​purchasing the bag and the bottles with the juice). When I inquired about the price increase, they pointed to a yellow hand-​written sign and informed me of «new rules» — they would only honor the $ 1 refill bottle discount on 1 16-​oz jar, not all 5. So, as a reward for trying to be eco-​friendly and brand-​loyal by having them refill my 5 previously purchased and cleaned 16-​oz glass jars, they tried to charge me $ 55. If you walk in off the street and order 5 juices in their 16-​oz plastic cups the cost would be apx. $ 40 – 42, or $ 45 – 48 for 5 juices in their 24-​oz plastic cups. Can anyone make sense of their math or the logic behind their new one-​bottle refill limit? What exactly is the benefit to a customer of purchasing a refill? I said no thank you, went across the street to Whole Foods and bought 64 oz of their fresh made Green Machine juice for $ 20 instead. I will most likely not be back.

Juice bars are hit and miss and like BBQ its a matter of personal preference. We recently discovered Blend on our beach trips to IoP. Even my picky wife and daughter will drink their green juice! Its not too sweet but not to bitter either and it will hold me over for a few hours. They also have a shot of the day posted on the chalkboard outside and I’ve had the red dragon twice (lemon, cayenne, and ginger). Wow! That will clear your sinuses out! Overall one of the better juice bars around and quick in/​out at a reasonable price (for juices).

The juice was good and they have many juice and smoothie options that all sounded delish. It is a little pricey but on par for organic juice. Some of the juices are premade… which is nice if you are in a hurry but if I’m paying $ 9 I like to see it made fresh.
The cashier tried to overcharge me then made me seem like I am the one bad at math. I got the correct change in the end but it sort of left a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m sure I will venture in again.

Awesome, juice bar that has organic cold press juices which the yellow is pretty darn good. It also has a heavenly cold press juice that mixes half & half of their green & gold. They have outstanding fresh smoothies and all are local and organic which I’m always a fan of. Also, has juice books that gives you great insight to what juicing is all about. A wonderful establishment to be thrilled about :)

Awesome place! So glad we found this!!! Best smoothie I have ever had! Go with your gut cause this menu is massive haha workers were super nice and helpful! And Funny! Lots of great add ons! Delicious ! Had the fruit ninja was great equally tasting its contents and brass monkey which is what blew my mind! My wife wasn’t feeling it tho, not too much peanutbutter or banana which I like but was pleasantly surprised and certain I made the right choice haha I will most certainly be coming back before we leave! Must come here!

My favorite juice bar! Fast, fresh, healthy and delicious! Expensive, but their cleanses are the best!

This is my first Unilocal review — ever, so I clearly loved my experience at Blend juice bar enough to finally sit down and write a Unilocal review.
I purchased their Groupon online and received excellent service from a really nice lady working there. When we arrived, their juice bar is super cute, clean, with a modern look. The lady working gave us a free cayenne pepper/​pineapple shot and then sat down with us to do a thorough consultation with me and my friend before we started our cleanse. Even though it was 6pm (they close at 7), she hand pressed all of our juices for us so that they would be fresh the next day for the start of our cleanse. I can’t tell you what a difference this makes, and really appreciated her taking that extra 30 minutes out of her day, and then acting like it was no big deal.
While waiting, we were given a sample of the Green Sweetie smoothie which is AMAZING. So we definitely ordered a green sweetie smoothie before leaving. When our juices for our cleanse were ready, she gave them to us in cute red coolers that had their logo on it, yup.
All in all, I’ve been to a gazillion juice bars and was extremely impressed by the service and quality of products that Blend juice bar provides. I am now confident that I will be a regular, even if I have to drive all the way from downtown to mt p just to get a Green Sweetie smoothie! And o yea, the Coco Cilantro smoothie sounded really good. There was little on their menu that I wouldn’t try.

I wish I could give Blend more than 3 stars, but it is so inconsistent that I just never know what I will get. There is one girl who works there that makes the best smoothies that are consistently delicious and she is so friendly and helpful. Then there is some older guy who I assume is a manager or something (?) that makes the worst smoothies ever. He’s made 3 for me now, they are all the same smoothie, and they have all been disgusting that I throw them away and waste 7 dollars. The first time he made my drink it was about 75% ice. Gross. The second time was an over baring banana flavor. And the third he put peanut butter in instead of cashews and then didn’t tell me. I tried it and immediately tasted the peanut butter and asked him and he stared at me, almost like he was debating whether or not he was going to lie and said, yea i made a mistake and put in peanut butter instead of cashews… Um what? Thankfully I’m not, but what if I was allergic to peanuts? You weren’t going to tell me you messed up my smoothie? Or offer to make another one when I said something about it? It was so gross. I threw it away and have vowed to not order anything from him again. I just hope he doesn’t do that in the future and actually hurt someone! Beware of the older man working there!

Love love love the smoothies! The juices I wouldn’t have thought I’d like but they give me so much energy without being jittery, taste so delicious and have so many health benefits to cleanse all the junk from my body. I absolutely would recommend this!

This is my new favorite spot! I’ve been several times and they have been consistent. Delicious, local, organic, reasonably priced, and super friendly. My 7 yr old loves the apple juice. The Juice Lee is my fave (has a kick!)

Please have that blonde girl teach everyone how to make the smoothies. The first time I went she made me a divine tasting Green Sweetie. I went back and got the Blue Diva, but some other chick who I think works behind the scenes decided to jump behind the counter to help and it came out a gloppy mess that luckily the blonde girl was able to fix. The third time I went the blonde girl wasn’t even there, I got the Green Sweetie again and it basically tasted like flavorless green almond milk. Consistency is key for a new business, people!!! Please have the blonde girl do a tutorial for every person who gets behind that counter, because she makes them perfect!!!

I had the same experience as Sarah D. today. I went to Blend a couple days after it opened and the blonde girl, Kat, was working and made me an excellent smoothie– also the Green Sweetie. She was super sweet and friendly. Today I went and she was not working and I ordered a Green Sweetie from the lady who was working. While the taste was OK, the smoothie was very very thin. I also ordered a 20 oz and she left almost an inch of room from the top. I would have said something in the store, but was rushing to work so didn’t really have time for her to add more and re-​blend it. Considering my smoothie was $ 9, I would have hoped that I would get the full amount allowed in the cup. A little disappointed but I will probably try it again in a few weeks to see if they have worked the kinks out.
