This is the second time that I have stayed here. Both times the room wasn’t ready for check in at 3:00. I thought the first time was a «fluke» but same thing again. That being said… The hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is good. The pool is nice. The suites are spacious. The convenience to Isle of Palms beach and to downtown Charleston is great. There is only 1 phone in room. I like a phone by the bed but thats just me. The phone is in the seating area of room. I will stay here again.

Overnight stay. We’d been to myrtle for a week, & wanted to stay in(near Charleston) for the night before heading home. The hotel was very nice & every single staff person we encountered was very friendly. We didn’t have the breakfast, so I really can’t comment on that. However… our room was huge. We had a 2nd floor King room with micro & fridge. The furniture & carpet looked new. However… whoEVER painted… is never let them paint again. The trim had lots of paint runs in it & the brown wall underneath had big light colored pain dropped on it??? Def wasn’t a professional painter. Now… one other complaint. My husband & I both noticed the lack of… care maybe??? From housekeeping. He was upset that there was only decaf coffee. Lol. However I was very annoyed at how much black hair was everywhere. Seriously. If your hair is coming out that much… wear a net. I hated to give less stars based on crappy housekeeping. Hair on the sink, several in the shower, on the curtains & bed. It was gross. There was pieces of trash around the bed on the floor that was not ours…& a nasty toenail. Ewwwwww. *hotel mgmt… I would look into this housekeeping situation… people will not return to a place that’s not as clean as a $ 150 a night hotel should be.*. Except for this… we loved the hotel.

My family and I stayed here for four nights, upon our arrival we were greeted by a friendly young lady who was extremely helpful(sadly I forgot her name) with check in and meeting our families needs, the room we booked 2 queens and a sofa sleeper was plenty big enough to meet our needs. Rooms were recently renovated and were very quiet.(we were on the 3rd floor) I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Charleston. Keep up the great job: House keeping was timely. Late night house keeper was very accommodating as well. Tommy at the front desk was TERRIFIC with suggestions for eating out, and even offered plenty of coupons… Plenty of parking. Needs improvement: 1. The wifi was extremely slow and my kids kept losing connection on their devices. 2. Needs the second washer on 2nd floor replaced only one working. It appears they are putting another set of washing machines on the 3rd floor though.

I won’t be coming back… My room had water damage. I was on the first floor. It smelled awful upon arrival. I had to kill a spider that was staying in the corner. The carpet was filthy. Both bed spreads were unclean. If I hadn’t arrived so late in the evening I would have packed up and left. Very disappointed. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was OK.

Stayed there on my last visit to Charleston. Location is close to IOP although we were going to Sullivan’s Island. I got a reduced price due to priceline, but it was not much off. The morning of our arrival, the hotel experienced a water line rupture in the kitchen. We showed up at the hotel at 2p to check in our room before heading to the beach. She said that normally they have early rooms but because of the earlier problem they did not. I asked for a place to allow us to change and we’d just head to the beach. They suggested the downstairs bathroom which to me wasn’t a place I’d suggest. I asked about a room that someone checked out of since it was 2 hours after checkout. None were available. I then had to ask to use the conference room. I kind of wished they could have been more helpful. The room was clean and we were comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to experience breakfast due to it ending early on in the morning. All in all it was ok. Id say even the priceline price was a bit high though.

Pool, bed and spacious clean room were great! Crappy breakfast though. Would come again for price.

Meh. The hotel itself was nice and clean, etc. I was kind of unimpressed though. We were given a room on the 1st floor(a first for me) nicely located by the pool and a side door. I enjoyed that part. The wireless was spotty and it sounded like they had given the room upstairs to a herd of elephants. Not their fault really but the people up there were LOUD. The breakfast was alright. I loved that I could make my own waffles, much better than what tasted like powdered eggs. The staff were mostly friendly although most of the time I felt like any questions I had were more of an inconvenience. And one more thing, upon check-in, please actually inform your guests about the 15% extra hold on the credit card. When I’m checking in somewhere I don’t want to stand at the counter reading a bunch of signs. Just tell me, I can take it.
