Great Mexican food and easy access. Great prices for the food you get. Never had an issue here.

Good Mexican foot and fast service. I only gave it 4 stores because the restaurant itself is run down and in bad need of a facelift.

I visited 2 times I’m 2 months… The food is great & tasty! As I expected to have mexican flavor… Décor! It’s nice they did it traditional mexican décor in Modern frame store… BUT! It’s the dirtiest mexican restaurant I have ever seen & encounter in 30 different states in 12 months of my business trip! Food is flavored & I wondered IF the restaurant is this much Dirty &STINKY how the kitchen food quality would be!!? Staff… barely smile at you?!(Maybe bc we had business diner) which doesn’t make any sense… My partner asked one of employees how long you have this store here? She said it’s about 15 yrs old business & she added they have great reputation in the neighborhood… maybe southern don’t know how to eat food! Lol The staff uniform are simple & dirty in both times… & sorry about my language they are NOTATTRACTIVE! I heard the over weight lady up front who showed us our table was the shift manager & always the menus are DISGUSTINGLYDIRTY…

We tried this restaurant many years ago and didn’t care for it but when we were in town again recently we decided to try it again. Still not a fan. The chili relleno is a 1 inch slice of pepper ontop of a huge pile of ground beef and cheese, when I order a chili relleno anywhere I expect the pepper to be a full sized pepper. We didn’t like anything other than the salsa and chips.

I love Mexican food. In fact, some might call it an addiction. I’d been at beach out on IOP all afternoon and was craving Mexican like no other. I should also mention that most of my friends live in JI, so I thought I’d be brave and go out to dinner by myself for the first time in my life. And that’s exactly how my Los Arcos(mis-)adventure began. I grabbed a seat at the bar and immediately ordered a medium margarita. Good grief those things are huge. The chips and salsa were standard. I decided that I shouldn’t indulge in a bowl of queso by myself, so I can’t report on that sadly. I opted for a #16. It arrived promptly and was everything I hoped for and then some in Americanized Mexican food. My relleno, enchilada, and something else were all delicious. Los Arcos is definitely way better than LaHa. Now here’s where my story becomes somewhat comical. Let’s just say that service was extra friendly at Los Arcos. With every delivery of food or drink, the bartender succeeded in touching my shoulder or waist. Naïve me thought that he felt sorry for me dining alone with every waist graze and«Are you doing okay?» that I received. Needless to say, I was very off on that assumption and left having taken a complementary shot of tequila and being asked on a date. The moral of this story: Los Arcos is delicious Americanized Mexican food and I will also not be dining here alone again after this whole experience.

FIVESTTTAAAAARRRRRRRSSSSSS!!! You’re telling me in Mout Pleasant I can get fajitas for two AND margaritas AND beer for 42 $ including tip? Hell yeah! I’m not going to tell you that this place is going to change your world or cause some massive paridim shift in your opinions on Mexican food… but…for good food and drinks you just honestly can’t beat the price. Also, we were both stuffed and had enough to bring home and eat a full lunch the next day. Its a little more family oriented then I’m normally looking for on a Saturday tequila night but for a taco Tuesday I’m all about this place! Consider me a new regular!

Awesome food and service, great prices to boot! We stopped here last minute before a flight home and weren’t disappointed. It’s a popular spot, as we were leaving the lunch crowd was really piling in.

As a local I’ve been to Los Arcos on many occasions, not ever expecting the best, but everything is usually par. So when I dined there with my family the other night I expected the same quality service and par food and drink choices. We order margaritas from our waitress, and wait for her to take our order. 20 minutes later she comes back with drinks and leaves again, this is on a monday at 830pm, so it was not busy and there was plenty of staff on the floor. After ordering food and another round of Margaritas, the food finally came out. Mabye 45 min since we were seated, everything came out and order was correct. My chicken was like a piece of rubber an unedible, so upon waiting for the waitress to come check on her table my family finished thier food, she asked if everything was ok and I told her my chicken issue, she told manager and they offered to cook another piece of chicken. I declined that offer because everyone else had already eaten and was not offered alternative option. So the bill came and my meal was still on the bill? And because of manager not coming to the table and how slow service is I decided to pay and never go back. Thats how you lose a customer and local who often recommends establishments to tourists.

I was not impressed. Just ok. I’m a Texas boy, so I hold Mexican food to a higher standard.

Enjoyed it! A fairly typical Mexican place with a slightly expanded menu. They kept the chips and salsa coming while we waited a short time for our dinners. There are 2 sizes of beer — can’t remember the exact ounces. But, the small one seemed tiny and the other choice was HUGE! Service was splendid. At the suggestion of our waiter we tried the Guacamole Mexicano and it was great — recommend trying it! We’ll stop in again!

Family night was super busy today. We had our usual server this evening and he was slammed! However, he was still super attentive to our table. Loved that! As you guessed it, I had the tacos rancheros with corn tortillas! It was so tasty. They put so much meat, onion and cilantros on the 3 tacos that they had to double the corn tortillas! I usually ask for some pico de gallo on the side with the spicy ranchero sauce for the extra kick! It was delicious! My husband ordered the chicken quesadilla with beans and lettuce that was so tasty that his plate was empty before I ate my 2nd taco. I ended up giving my 3rd to him because I was already full. To quench our thirst we had our usual frozen margarita and large Dos Equis! This is the place to be to get your Mexican fill and getting great quality service without breaking your budget!

The food was ok, obviously nothing was home maid. The mild salsa was clearly out of a can, you could taste it. The spicy salsa was not even eatable. The chips were stale. And the customer service was ok, they were trying, but no one really knew what they were doing. I don’t think I will be going back. Really disappointed because Mexican is my favorite.

I was with my aunt who wanted some Mexican food(or let’s be honest she was in it for a margarita and chips and salsa). I had been here once before with friends that used to live in the area. It is set back in the far corner of the plaza. The house salsa is good and has a little bit of a kick to it that I think other places are lacking in their house salsa because they’re too afraid of people who don’t like it spicy. We each got a frozen margarita — the medium size. They were huge! Can’t imagine getting the larger. After ordering our food was in front of us in what seemed like less than five minutes! The service was very fast. As far as taste goes, this is your standard Mexican restaurant. There’s nothing special or exciting on the menu that you can’t get anywhere else.

Had lunch today. They have a lot of inexpensive specials for lunch every weekday. Had chicken fajitas. Pretty pretty good. Plenty of chicken(no fatty pieces I noted), 3 soft tacos, fresh peppers, onions and tomatoes with refried beans and a guacamole salad. Lots of food for $ 6.75. Complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were crisp and warm. Service was friendly and attentive. Not anything to criticize here. AND, they serve their water and iced tea in real glasses, not a plastic tumbler. I felt uncomfortable giving them only 4 stars because they clearly have the best Mexican food in Mt. Pleasant, so I changed it to 5 stars. We will be back soon, amigos.

It’s better than Taco Bell. What a disappointing restaurant. These people are merely mailing it in. Pre made margaritas that taste like a child’s juice box, salsa worse than the cheapest jarred garbage at piggly wiggly, nachos than run with grease and poorest quality ground beef. They somehow even made bottled beer taste bad. All I ask is to put in a little effort and care. They did none of these. But… the place was packed, so I guess they can get away with it. Good for them, but I won’t be back.

I first ate at Los Arcos during my first trip to Charleston circa 2003. It’s your typical chain greasy cheesy delicious Mexican food restaurant a la Señor Tequila or La Hacienda. Nothing really special about the place, but the food is consistent and the drink prices are really good. One thing that stands out here is the decent price on guacamole that is actually edible. Most places in town have yet to figure that out. I know avocados are expensive, but it doesn’t cost you $ 8-$ 10 to produce a tiny bowl of mashed up avos, tomatoes, and onion; Taco Boy, I’m looking at you. They have two variants of guac at Los Arcos, one is guacamole«dip» for $ 2 and«mexican style» for $ 5. The girls I was with ordered the cheaper option and they were pretty pleased. Enough about avocados. Los Arcos is a good little spot to hit on your way back from the beach or if you’re in the Seaside Farms area. It can be a little tricky navigating your way to the backside of the parking lot where they are located though.
