I grabbed a quick bite the other night and this place was a ghost town. Totally empty at 8pm, I wasn’t sure if they were closed. I had the grilled vegs on a sub with cheese. It’s not on the menu but they guy there said it wouldn’t be a problem. I LOVE the fact that they have Frank’s hot sauce… that makes everything taste good. I had a regular size sub, chips, and a water —— cost me $ 12. Ok, the sub was decent, but not $ 12 good. Bread was doughy, better than subway, but worse than jimmy johns. I liked the grilled veg’s and the guy behind the counter was really friendly. Overall seems like a good place to get a sub as far as the chain sub places go, but the price point was far beyond the quality of the food I had.

Really good sandwiches. Prices are a little high for me, but everything tastes super fresh. Service wasn’t great(got my order wrong and had to remake it), but it is mostly young teens working there. Overall, good spot for lunch.

Surprisingly good pastrami Ruben. Hard to find pastrami sandwiches in general. Pepper relish a fantastic condiment. Nice clean place.

If you can’t make up your mind get two Mini subs. If you really like one get it as a Giant!!! Mikes way or no way!

Jersey Mike’s is my favorite sandwich shop besides a real deal deli. All I ever get are Italian subs with everything on wheat. Make sure to get peppers and oil/vinegar. A couple times I’ve ordered extra meat because the previous experience was a bit light but recently I forgot or order extra and it was fine. Not sure if I miss their coupons or they just don’t offer many, but if I see any I’d eat there more often.

Had a terrible experience. Had a coupon to use but ordered online for faster service. When I got there, they would not honor the coupon because they couldn’t take any charges off. Really? You can’t do a refund or credit? How can a restaurant only make charges on a credit card but can’t issue a credit? The guys told me the would honor the coupon the next time I visited even if it’s after the expiration date. With such a hassle this time, do you think I would return? Then to top it all off, they charged my credit card for items I did not receive. I’ve tried contacting them but never heard back. Apparently they don’t care about customer service.

I love their chipotle Philly cheesesteak. The chicken cheesesteak is just okay. Have not had anything else I try not to pay for subs I can make at home. Kinda expensive, pay $ 20 for two sandwiches.

A better than average sub shop in a hard to get to location off of a mall access road. Tight parking at noon time in a small lot shared with other food shops. The only available Wifi is from TMobile — won’t connect & Xfinity is too weak. Good subs for the«$ 10 for Lunch is OK» crowd”

All the sammiches I’ve had from Subway… whyyyyyyyy? I forgot the old golden rule of «You get what you pay for». Sure, Subway has their 5-dolla foot-long sandwiches, but we’re talking about bread sandwiches with a slice of meat inside. They give you more condiments because there’s more room between the bread. Ok, sure, Jersey Mike’s sammiches are like $ 7 bucks for a «regular» which is plenty big, or you can go high-rolla and get the $ 10 giant one. But at Jersey Mike’s they actually believe that the bread encompasses the sandwich, but not overtakes it. We’re talking about many many many slices of meat cut fresh off the dangerous looking deli slicer. Have it «Mike’s Way» and you’ll get lettuce, tomato, and red-wine vinegar. Simple, done, tasty. You should be ashamed of yourself Jared. So little protein, so many carbs.

I love Jersey Mike’s subs, and they are my favorite chain for cold subs. The subs are made with meats and cheeses sliced fresh at the counter, crisp veggies, great condiments like a tasty red wine vinegar, oil, and Hellman’s real mayo, chewy bread(I like the wheat best) shipped straight from the Jersey shore, Jersey Mike’s is the place to go for authentic east coast subs. The meats on Mike’s subs are too notch including their outrageously juicy and perfectly salty deli style ham, the best most moist deli style turkey available, juicy rare roast beef roasted in house daily, good quality salami and pepperoni, perfectly spicy capicola, and prosciuttini(not at all prosciutto; more like pepper ham) along with milky provolone cheese. Bonus points for bacon that is actually crispy. Although I prefer family owned restaurants, I am happy to know that there are going to be more and more Jersey Mike’s popping up all over the country.

Not horrible but not very good either. I saw a 5 star reviewer say«Goodbye Subway.» Yeah, that’s exactly who I’d expect to be wowed by this place — someone who is used to eating total crap. Sure, it’s better than Subway, but what the hell isn’t? The bread here is weak. It tastes like some generic loaf you’d buy at Jewel. They get chintzy with the meat & cheese, and they overload the sandwich with lettuce. And they charge a premium for it. No thanks. If I want a basic sub sandwich, there are many better places to find one. Definitely won’t be going back.

First time ever in a Jersey Mike’s Sub restaurant. My husband and I are now converts.(Goodbye Subway!) Came here for dinner. Employees greeted us as soon as we came in. Food was fresh & tasted great. It was close to closing time when we came in so I expected the food to be a bit on the«old & wilted side». Not here. Everything was made fresh! I was most impressed with the PROFESSIONAL&FRIENDLYSERVICE. Another customer(who was a regular) came in & the workers greeted him as soon as he came in & even made small talk. The workers were young people but did not see them«goof off» in the back counter unlike *some* subway shops I’ve been to. Keep up the great job! You just gained a fan!

This place is particularly good. I ordered the Classic Italian Sub. When you go to any Jersey Mike’s, MAKESUREYOUORDERWITHMIKE’S WAY. They take your sub, smother it in olive oil, vinegar and spices. VERYGOOD! Although, whatever you do, make sure you don’t mention any other sandwich chains(*cough, cough, Subway, cough, cough)

There have been a lot of Jersey Mike’s popping up around the area so I was curious to try it out for the firs ttime. I ordered the #3 Ham and Provolone. Jersey Mike’s offers a lot less toppings than other places like Subway, but I do appreciate that the meat and cheese are freshly sliced in front of you as they are making the sandwich. The overall taste of the sandwich was good, but nothing special. I’d take Jimmy John’s over Jersey Mike’s any day. I do have a gripe with this experience. I was charged for a regular when I ordered a mini. At first I didn’t notice, but was wondering why they were charging me so much. The cashier was nice about it and took it off my card, but I had to remind the cashier twice to give me a receipt! Not happy about that. Not a good first impression, and I probably won’t be coming back.

Forgetaboutit. No, seriously forget about it. I headed to Jersey Mike’s for lunch the other day while my tire was getting fixed. When I think of a good EYE-talian sub, I envision fresh bread piled high with meats and cheeses. However, that’s not what I received. I walked in the sub shop and was greeted by a fantastically long line. The place was hoppin, which I figured was a good sign for yummy eats in my near future. I knew I wanted to do get a cold sub and got the Mini #4 Special– Provolone, Prosciuttini, Cappacuolo. It was pretty skimpy on the meat and cheese. While, it temporarily filled my hunger void. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. I don’t feel the prices, quantity and quality were on par with other sub places.

I had been waiting for a chance to have a hearty sub for quite a while. I walked into Jersey Mikes with the idea that I was going to «grab n go», but realized that if I didn’t stay, I would miss part of Sportscenter, ESPNNews, and CNN. I would do no such thing. Give up the chance to soak up tv on the road. I think not. So, right off the bat(no pun intended) they had me hooked. I ordered the regular Sub Mike’s way. The soft bread got me right away. Loaded with lettuce and other great veggies, this average sized sub really hit the spot. You can have subs made your way or Mike’s way(Mike’s way is why they are so good). Service was very friendly and was ready to answer any request customers had. Yes, I would return. As a matter of fact I need to look up where the other locations are here in Chicagoland. Only thing is, they are a bit pricey.

Ok– I must confess, I am spoiled when it comes to subs. I never had to get by on sub-par Subway or Quiznos. I had Hero’s and Baba-Rinos(see other reviews) to satisfy my sub needs. After moving to the NW suburbs, I don’t get to those places much anymore and sadly haven’t found a good sub since I moved to this area. I’m glad I gave this chain a try. Tasty bread, good tuna that wasn’t boring, fresh ingredients, clean and pleasant servers. Partner had beef w/provolone and was very pleased with the quality of the beef. The length of the sandwiches are substantial — I think next time we will split a giant. My only complaint is too much lettuce and my sandwich should have had a bit more tuna and the beef maybe another slice of beef for the price. I guess a lot of lettuce would be a plus for some. I took over half of the lettuce off my sandwich and still had a good amount left on. I will return to try other sandwich varieties. Pretty good for a chain.

I think I’ll refrain from the obvious Jersey Shore references I can say about the name of this place. The bottom line is they make some fresh tasty subs. They have the Menu split up as Cold Subs, Hot Subs, Wraps, and Salads. I love me some Cappacuolo and Pepperoni, but I wanted to try a warm sub today. I ordered the regular size #17 Jersey Mike’s Famous Philly with provolone, grilled onions, and peppers. The guy took out the thin slices of beef and chopped it up right on the grill. They have the meats and fresh ingredients all out on display, and they make the sub right in front of you. I made mine a combo w/chips and a drink… I got the Salt & Vinegar chips because that’s how I roll son! They wrapped up my sub in aluminum foil which kept my sandwich nice and hot. I sat outside since they had a couple of tables set up and it was nice and sunny. I have to say that the Philly Sub was Phantastic!!! The melted provolone oozing on that grilled steak was on point, and the grilled onions and peppers added the extra«Mmmm.» I think I kinda like this place… yea I really kinda do. I happily finished up my meal and threw on my Armani shades just in time. Snooki, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D, J Woww, Vinny, and The Situation just rolled up in the Escalade. I tried to refrain, but its hard when the name of the place is «Jersey Mike’s.» And if they were really here they would give this place a «DOUBLEFISTPUMP!»

GTL baby! Frank Sinatra who loves ya? Tony Soprano OOH! and now Mike’s Subs!!! fuhgeddaboudit! obviously its a chain with over 400 franchise locations, but everything you eat is made fresh to order at your particular location. Blocks of cheese, blocks of well prepared animal flesh, bread, lettuce all cut on premises awaiting to release its soul of goodness before the alter of mmmmmmmmmmmm. The only thing that would’ve made this place a 5 star moment would be some Jersey Shore siliconed Double D’s behind the sneeze guard and a stripper pole in the corner… but alas, this is just a sandwich shop in Mt Prospect Il… one can still dream.
