My first time at Panda Express, and I doubt I’ll go back soon. My so-called side order of brown rice was huge — must have been at least two cups of the stuff. My entrees were quite small and had too few vegetables. The taste was okay and the service was acceptable.

Went here during lunchtime and this place was not busy or packed at all. I ordered Chow mien, Orange chicken and Beijing beef with a chicken egg roll. While the food had some flavor and was filling it is just processed fast food. I can’t really judge the food cause it is good to have once in a while and it was just a quick bite to eat. Overall this place is pretty small and seats roughly 20 people. 3⁄5 cause it is just Panda Express and nothing can be done to improve the food or atmosphere.

You always know what expect at PE. It is no visit to Chinatown, but you can rely on fast turnaround on an order of orange chicken and teriyaki.

I usually don’t write reviews but this place is so dirty it is disgusting. Trash is overflowing the cans even saw customers push down on it to fit their trash. Trays are full of stains and grime. Floors are sticky. To top it all off the chicken was cold. Yuck!

Its Panda, what more can you expect. The food is usually consistent at all the locations. Some of the employees at this location are pretty miserable. They seem uninterested and take theyre sweet time. Multiple times ive gone in and there was no Orange chicken left, then your told its a 6 minute wait etc. I understand if theyre busy, but this was slow. The lines during the lunch rush can be long as well.

The food tastes fine, but I always have to, umm, use the facilities afterwards. Always. No matter which entrée I choose. Maybe too much oil used in the preparation?

Always good for a quick dinner. Usually enough leftover for lunch the next day. Hard to beat their orange chicken or terrific chicken.

Been here twice, and it sums up to this: the employees here hate their job. On young blond lady gave me barely a decent quantity of food for my 2 entrée plates… slowly. Another time, one lady just served someone, saw me and then stepped away, leaving me hanging as well as 2 – 3 other customers. They eventually got my order, but did not do what the other stores do: offer appetizers, offer drinks, etc. That is your job at a place like this, sell food, and these folks have a bad attitude at both visits. Also, my food was shoddily prepped, and when I took out my food from the bag at home, it was a bloody mess. Sauce from the steak entrée was all over the packaging and soiled the cookies and utensils. Food is prepared decently but that’s the only highlight. Washrooms are okay, and tables & chairs are fairly clean. Don’t go here unless if you have to. There’s other places that will serve you better.

I just stopped in, as I stood there waiting for the employees to notice me, I observed the employees and one of the cooks was dripping on the food. I wasn’t sure what I saw, or if my eyes were playing tricks. So I watch him, and sure enough the guy keeps sniffling, and wiggling his nose. As he did that another drip falls. I turned around and walked out…

This review is for the Glenview restaurant off of Willow. I had the mushroom chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and chow mein noodles. Less than $ 8. Not bad. Then I sat down to eat. Chairs were dirty. Food was cold. That’s disappointing enough. When I got home, I was running for the bathroom. I yelled at my son to close the garage door(no, he hadn’t dined with me). I barely made it without soiling myself. Never again. Never.

I don’t remember waiting for my meal as long as at this Panda. I wasn’t the first customer frustrated at this restaurant. There was a person walking out of here very frustrated for the same reason. Very slow staff and lots of long lines …

This is a really nice Panda Express. The restaurant is big, the staff is friendly, and the food is nice and hot. I love the chow mein with the chicken/mushroom/zucchini entrée and the honey walnut shrimp. Always delicious.

Don’t judge me. As a prestigious asian, yes I went to Panda Express(to the bathroom). As a health nut, what’s cool about Panda is that they have a nutrition calculator on their site. So I figured, why not? Armed with the nutrition calculator, I had a game plan. Came here at around 8:45PM, and it looked like they were closing up. The guy behind the counter was apologetic and said that«they make us open an hour after the kitchen’s closed.» and basically what I saw was what they had left. The entrees they had left were literally the bottom of the trays. I was hoping to get some healthy mixed veggies, chicken w/brocolli, and some mandarin chicken. Welp, they had none of that, so I ended up getting the chicken w/string beans, brown rice, and mushroom chicken. Not too bad on macros, but not ideally what I was striving for. Overall, the food wasn’t bad. The brown rice was cooked well, the string beans and chicken was delicious, and the mushroom chicken was OK. I have to take off a star for the«kitchen’s closed» even though the restaurant is still open. I sympathize that people want to go home, and I did come at around 8:45PM, but still. people need to eat. Another kicker is that the guy didn’t even ask me if I wanted to dine in, and assumed I wanted it to-go. Not sure if thats primarily what he encounters, or he wanted to me to just GTFO.

I have stopped in hear during my lunch break a few times and the food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Each time I have stopped in I have always been asked, ‘How is everything tasting today?” Take Aways: Clean restaurant, good food, friendly staff, cheap meal.

So here goes: Panda Express is simply the best Asian food served by a chain. Anywhere. I have NEVER had a bad meal there. Anywhere. These guys did what Chipotle did. Took perfection and mass marketed it. In the Northwest Suburbs there is no such thing as decent Chinese food(except Cantonese – thank you, Sun Shui and Malaysian-Chinese – thank you Penang). This is always a sure bet. Look, I grew up in Oakland and have been taken into the back and given impromptu cooking lessons from GREAT Chinese cooks. And I lived six years in the San Gabriel Valley, surrounded by the best Chinese and Asian food in the Western Hemisphere. I watched 60 Minutes do an expose on the Chinese Mafia and its head gangster was the guy at the cash register at one of my favorite places. I have never had Kung Pao Chicken like that Godfather of Cuisine served up. Holy crap. And I used to go to the original Panda Inn in Pasadena. It was wonderful. This is very very close.

Panda Express may not be the gourmet food its advertisements claim, but it’s a far better fast food stop than the obligatory«MERICAN!» choices of Burger King, McDonald’s or Wendy’s.
